You typed on your computer, sending business emails to Jayce, as the bus headed for it's destination. The first show of the tour.

The girls will need to do mic checks, a quick interview or two, and then you would have an hour to rest before the show. It didn't sound like a lot, but you had to make sure everything was good beyond that.

Lights, sounds, that kind of stuff.

Akali: Mr. Y/N!

You looked up from your laptop before you looked behind you. Akali was in her bunk with one ear bud in her ear with her tablet playing a movie. You had no idea which one, though.

Akali: Come cuddle.

You raised a brow.

Y/N: Uh, no. I'm busy. Besides, there's no way these bunks are big enough for two people.

Eve poked her head out from her bunk and smirked teasingly.

Eve: We won't know if you don't try.

You looked at her unamused.

Y/N: Then cuddle with each other.

Akali and Eve looked at each other from across the way. They then turned back to you. Akali pouted.

Akali: But, I want to cuddle with you.

Y/N: Kali....

Akali: Why don't you love me?!

Was she's seriously throwing a fit right now? Eve just rolled her eyes and hopped down from her bed. While you watched Akali go on a rant about how you don't love her, Eve took her seat.

On your lap.

You felt your cheeks go red as she wrapped her arms around your neck and looked at your computer.

Eve: What are you busy with? Talking to our new boss?

Akali looked at her with her mouth open before she started to glare.

Ahri and Kai'sa just looked at you both from the sitting area.

Ahri: They really don't care that we're right here.

Kai'sa: They don't. Speaking of which, where is Jinx?

They looked over at the bunks and found an arm sticking out of the bottom bunk. A tattooed arm.

Ahri: Hey, Y/N?

You looked over to the two.

Ahri: How come you never got a tattoo?

You looked at her confused.

Y/N: I did.

The girls all suddenly looked at your surpised. Eve got off your lap and you pulled up your shirt to show a tattoo on your rib.

Villain

Ahri: How have I never noticed that before?

Because I just added it in, Ahri. I can do that. I don't give a fuck.

Y/N: It was cause I lost a stupid bet against a friend.

Kai'sa: What does it mean? Why are you a Villain?

You smiled.

Y/N: It was my field name. Villain 1-4.

Eve: Villain? Sounds dangerous~

Akali: Well, yeah. He's a highly trained military dude. I bet he can kill a dude with his thumb.

The girls all looked at you. You crossed your arms offended. But you shrugged.

Y/N: Yeah, they taught us that, but you shouldn't assume.

Ahri: Wait, what else can you do?

You gave her a look telling her that she had asked the wrong question. You turned back to your computer and continued your work as the girls all looked at Ahri.

Ahri: I'm SoRrY!

Jinx: This place is huge. I bet you can fit, like, three people in here.

You looked to your friend before you sighed. Technically, she wasn't wrong. But 50,000 tickets were sold and it was indeed a sold out show.

The girls were on stage doing mic checks while Kai'sa also ran them through the choreography again. The lights looked great as well.

KDA: Ain't nobody bringing us down, down, down, down!

The music ended and you and Jinx clapped. Even Totoro and the Guinea Pigs gave their own cheers. The girls smiled at the support and you gave the sound guys a thumbs up.

Thank God Jayce knew the best of the best. Though, you could swear that some of these guys were ex-Piltover Secret Service. At least security was tighter than people could think.

You and Jinx headed back towards the stage area where you met the girls who were coming off the stage.

Y/N: If you guys are this good tonight, these people are in for a good time.

Jinx: Could be better if you guys wore skimpier outfits, though.

The girls looked down at their outfits then back at Jinx.

KDA: Really?

Y/N: Yeah, they show enough skin.

Totoro: <Meow>

The girls looked to you.

Y/N: What?

Eve: What did he say?

You and the cat looked at each other. He spoke you you and you nodded.

Y/N: He said he didn't want his mom on stage looking like a whore.

Ahri gasped while the girls started to laugh. You laughed as well while Ahri looked at her outfit.

Ahri: I...I don't....Eve picked it out!

Eve: Yes, but your thighs look amazing, hun.

Akali: And you don't show that much skin. I show more!

Kai'sa: I show enough.

Totoro: <Meow>

Y/N: True. They do look amazing in them.

Akali smiled proudly before she shuffled to your side. She then leaned closer to you.

Akali: I look even better with it on~

You froze at her words as did Jinx who accidentally heard her. Akali laughed at your reaction before you shook your thoughts away and stood up straighter.

Y/N: You girls should go...rest...you have an interview in a bit.

You looked at Akali and slowly shuffled away.

Y/N: Bye.

You turned and left. Akali watched you for a moment before she laughed to herself. The others, however, were completely clueless.

You and Jinx were now hanging out in the back lot where the bus was. Jinx took a hit of her joint while you just opted to stick with water.

Jinx: So, what's on your mind?

You shrugged.

Y/N: A lot. Like, is it okay to even date Kali? I mean, she's 19.

Ezreal: Still of age.

You looked at your friend as he took another drag of his cigarette.

Y/N: Yeah, but she's 19. You don't wanna let that one set for a bit?

Ezreal gave it some thought, and shook his head.

Ezreal: Of legal age. Besides, you're still young, too. Hell, I proposed at 19.

You and Ezreal were stationed on the rooftop of your temporary base. You were in the deserts of Shurima looking for intelligence on a terrorist cell in the area. So far, so good.

Y/N; Yeah, what the hell, by the way? You're 23. Why did you propose so young?

Ezreal laughed.

Ezreal: Y/N, my friend, my brother, I've loved this girl since I was 6. We grew up together and fell in love and I ain't letting that go.

You rolled your eyes.

Y/N: Sappy bastard. You've been engaged for 4 years.

Ezreal: And we'll be engaged until I'm able to afford the wedding. Her dad isn't exactly....approving of me.

Y/N: Wonder why. Anyway, about my question....

Jinx: Yes, it's okay. Kali is a big girl now. She knows better.

Jinx took another hit while you sighed. You took a drink of your water before the door opened. You both looked over and found Kai'sa looking around with Mini Kai'sa on her head. She spotted you and you gave a wave.

Kai'sa: We're done with that interview. We're meeting up back stage.

You nodded. Jinx finished her joint and tossed it aside before following you back into the venue. From there, the three of you headed for the room that was set up for KDA.

You made it in, but you only found Ahri and Eve there.

Jinx: Hey, nerds. *gasp! Are those M&M's?!

Jinx immediately headed for Eve who had a small bowl of candy. The folks who owned the place really hooked you all up with some sweet snacks and drinks. Including a bottle of champagne which you will be opening after what was sure to be an amazing first show.

Kai'sa: Where's Kali?

Eve: I think she said she needed to use the bathroom.

You raised a brow and looked over at the bathroom in the room. Why didn't she just use that one.

Suddenly, a thought crossed your mind.

You nodded and started to walk to the door.

Y/N: Be right back.

The girls didn't even mind when you left. You looked down tha hall and thought back on the map you had seen earlier. It was so you knew where everything was.

And you headed down the hall.

You reached the bathrooms and listened in. Silence. You have a quick prayer as to not be mistaken, and opened the door. There, you found Akali hunched over the sink.

She looked pale. Tired. And scared.

Y/N: Hey.

Akali looked up suddenly in surpise. She seemed to clam down when she realized it was you.

Akali: H-Hey.

She turned back to the sink and you slowly approached her.

Y/N: You alright?

Akali nodded.

Akali: Yeah. Just...nervous.

You were right.

You walked over to the sink and leaned against the wall. Akali took deep breaths, but it didn't seem like kt was working.

Y/N: You scared?

Akali hesitated in answering. She then nodded.

Akali: What if I mess up?

You looked at her before you shrugged.

Y/N: Then you mess up.

Akali: This is our first show. Our first impression on the world. What if I mess it up?

You sighed.

Y/N: Then you try again tomorrow.

Akali looked at you confused. She noticed that you were playing with your dog tags.

Y/N: You know, I was scared for my first mission. I, uh, had the same thoughts as you did. What if I mess up? Though, I guess the difference between then and now is....you have another chance if you do.

You looked at the younger girl.

Ezreal: You can't live your life in fear. Even though it's easy to do.

Your friend was leaning against the wall while you were sitting against it. Your head was your hands as you panicked.

Ezreal: If you live your life in fear, you'll never leave your mark on the world.

Y/N: But....

Ezreal shook his head.

Ezreal: No. No buts. That's the fear. If you question it, then you fear it. If you just take it and go and do what you need to do and what you want to do, you beat it.

You looked up at him. You could only make out a bit of his face in the moon light.

Y/N: And if I fail?

Ezreal shrugged.

Ezreal: Then you fail. It's as easy as that. You either succeed, or fail. Either way, you learn. And you get better. And eventually, you'll be doing all kinds of things.

Ezreal smiled as he looked at you.

Y/N: That's why you can't live in fear. Because if you do, you'll always fail.

Akali looked at you as you clenched your tags. You looked at the youngest member and smiled.

Y/N: Besides, you won't be alone up there. You'll have the others. KDA. Me and Jinx will be near by too.

Akali slowly looked back at the sink and nodded to herself. She took a deep breath and stood up straight.

Akali: You're right. I....sorry.

You shook your head.

Y/N: This isn't a sorry moment. You were right to be nervous. You've never been on stage like the others. That's why you have to trust them. And trust yourself.

Akali nodded. She took one more breath before she smiled confidently.

Akali: Okay. I think I'm okay now.

You smiled.

Y/N: If you get nervous again, just talk to me. I'll try to calm you down.

Akali smiled at the offer and suddenly hugged you. You smiled softly as you hugged her back. She let go as you laughed a bit.

Y/N: Now go head back. The others will probably want to do something before the show.

Akali nodded and headed out into the hall. You stood there for a moment before you turned to follow.

You stopped, however, when you saw your reflection. You were in full gear with a rifle at the ready.

You just shook your head and walked out.

Ahri: This is it, girls. Everything has been leading up to this.

Eve: The first one is always the hardest. We got this.

Kai'sa: I just want to say how proud I am of everyone. We did it.

Akali: Yeah! Let's go kill it til it's dead!

The girls all folded their hands ontop of each other. They then looked over at you and Jinx.

Jinx: What?

Ahri: We couldn't have gotten here without you two. Come on.

Jinx rolled her eyes, but put her hand in. You just chuckled as you did the same.

Ahri: KDA on 3.

Eve: 1.

Kai'sa: 2.

Akali: 3!

All: KDA!

The announcement was made and the intro song started to play. The crowd on the otherside began to cheer loudly causing the girls to smile.

They all headed up the stairs, but Akali stopped. She turned back and suddenly grabbed your arm.

Akali: One last talk?

You nodded and she pulled you aside, just outside of everyone's view.

Y/N: What's up?

Akali: Nothing. Just needed a conference booster.

She suddenly cupped your face and leaned up to kiss you. Your eyes went wide at the sudden action but Akali smiled before she pulled away.

Akali: Alright!

She hurried off to join the others. You walked back to Jinx who had Totoro on her shoulder.

Jinx: What was that about?

You just smiled as you watched the girls go onstage.

Y/N: Just a good luck charm, it seems.

That night, KDA preformed their first concert.

It was a hit. One that many would talk about for ages.

And it was only the first of many.

And you were ready for what came next.
