The morning after the Movie Night was filled with Kai'sa's waffles and Eve's surprisingly delicious bacon and eggs.

Who knew she could cook?

While you all ate at the table, Eve was scrolling through her phone mindlessly. Suddenly, you noticed her eyes get wide. You set down your fork and looked at her.

Y/N: Uh, everything good over there?

Eve looked around the table to make sure no one was looking before she handed you her phone. You looked at the screen and raised a brow.

It was for a convention. A kind of Comic Con Convention that was being held downtown. Looks like some pretty big names were going to be there as well.

Your eyes then stopped when you reached a name you immediately recognized.

Kayn and Malphite from Odyssey. They were going to be there.

Y/N: Holy shit.

The girls all looked up as you read through the information of the con. It was going on right now.

Eve: We have to go.

Y/N: We totally have to go.

Ahri: Go where?

You and Eve looked up and finally noticed that the others were looking at you. Right. Eve was a closeted nerd. And, the others didn't seem like they would like something like this.

Y/N: Uh....

You and Eve looked at each other. She motioned for you to make an excuse, but you just said the first thing that came to mind.

Y/N: Comic Con.

Eve face palmed while Akali sat up.

Akali: That place with all the cool cosplay and panels?

Kai'sa: They have guests there as well, yes?

You nodded.

Jinx: Yo! We should totally go to that!

This was....surprising. You didn't think everyone would be on board with this.

Ahri: I think I'll pass.

Eve: Kayn and Malphite from Odyssey will be there doing photos and autographs.

Ahri sat up.

Ahri: I'm in!

Everyone looked at her as her cheeks grew red. She cleared her throat and sat back down.

Ahri: I mean....sure. Let's go.

You looked back at the phone and winced when you remembered something.

Y/N: Actually, would you guys really be okay with that? I mean, you'll have to wear disguises all day.

Jinx and Eve both stood up at the same time.

Jinx/Eve: Cosplay!

Everyone then turned to Eve in surpise. She realized what she just said and slowly looked down with hollow eyes.

Eve: Kill me.

Kai'sa: Do you....enjoy that kind of thing?

Ahri: I wouldn't be surpised. You guys should see her room. She has so many nerdy things in there.

Eve looked up with a flustered face.

Eve: Don't tell them that!

Aw. That was actually kind of cute. You just smiled as you rubbed your chin.

Y/N: That sounds like fun. But, uh, we don't have costumes.

Ahri: Well, luckily for us, I happen to know a designer in town who could totally hook us up with what we need. Although, we would need to figure out what to wear. Who are we going as?

Jinx: I would say as Odyssey characters, bit no one would get the reference and there's only two chicks in the entire franchise.

You shrugged as you handed Eve her phone back.

Y/N: We can figure it out as we go.

And thus, your day began.

You all sat in the room where Ahri's fashion designer friend had set out a series of costumes for all of you. Eve and you brainstormed some ideas with the help of Jinx and Akali.

First up was Ahri.

She stepped out and showed off her costume. It was a black one piece that showed off her legs. It had a single red slash tied around her waist and a yellow lighting bolt was on the front. She also wore a mask.

Ahri: Uh, I thought Captain Marvel wore a space suit, or something.

Eve: You're the OG Ms. Marvel. You know, before the feminist got her.

Ahri just looked at her costume and looked at the mirror.

Ahri: Hm. My legs do look good.

Next up was Kai'sa.

She stepped out in a black body suit with high-tech looking bracelets. She wore a red wig and had on red lip stick.

Kai'sa: I actually know this one. Black Widow, right?

Eve: Natasha Romanoff. The best spy in comics.

Kai'sa nodded.

Akali then stepped out.

She wore a purple costume which had an X symbol on the belt. Unlike the Ahri's, hers was less revealing and her purplish hair actually didn't need to be changed.

Akali: Sweet! Who is this?

Eve: Pyslocke. But one of her newer costumes. You don't need a boob window.

Akali: Huh. She seems cool.

Then, Eve herself stepped out.

She wore a black leather body suit which had white fur around the collar. She also wore a domino mask and a white wig.

Eve: Black Cat. A classic.

Jinx: Yeah yeah. Wait til you get a whiff of this one!

Jinx jumped out and struck a pose.

She wore an orange jumpsuit that had a belt with many pouches on it. She also wore a furry mask of somekind.

Eve: Is that...

Jinx: Rocket Racoon!

She then pulled out a large prop gun.

Jinx: My hero.

The girls then all turned to your area. But you weren't there.

Kai'sa: Uh, Y/N?

Y/N: Up here.

The girls all looked up to see that you had placed yourself in the top corner of the room. Guess who you were.

Y/N: Spider-Man, Spider-Man. Does whatever a spider can. Can he swing, from a web? Yes he can, he's Spider-Man.

You jumped down and pulled off your mask. Yours was easily the simplest of them all. But the suit was actually very well made. The logo even lit up.

Y/N: Heh. Nice.

Ahri: I don't think I like this one. It's a bit...revealing.

Totoro: <Meow>

Ahri: I don't even want to know.

Costumes attempt number two started with Kai'sa this time. She stepped out and did a quick spin. She wore a green outfit which consisted of green tights, green sleeves, and a green leotard. Her hair was hidden by a red wing which had a rose in it.

Kai'sa: I actually always liked Poison Ivy.

Eve: You can play her well.

Ahri then stepped out and smiled.

She wore a black leather body suit. However, she also wore a black mask that covered her head and ears, which were played off as cat ears. She also wore a pair of red goggles and had a black whip hanging from her hip.

Ahri: This is Catwoman, right?

Eve: Looking good, Foxy.

Eve stepped out and showed off her costume. A red and black kind of costume that resembled a kind of clown of sorts. She wore white makeup on her face with black circles around her eyes. She also had on a hat that looked like a jester's.

Eve: The crazy queen herself. Harley Quinn.

Akali: Na na na na, Batgirl!

Akali jumped out and held up her cape. Indeed, she was dressed like Batgirl.

Ahri: Aw. That's cute.

Akali: I'm not cute. I'm Batgirl!

Totoro: <Meow>

Jinx stepped out and looked at the others unamused.

Jinx: Seriously?

She had her hair spiked up and wore a blue and black outfit.

Eve: What's wrong with Livewire?

Jinx: I look ridiculous. Where's Y/N?

Y/N: I am the night.

The girls looked over to see that you were perched on the couch in your costume.

Y/N: I am Batman.

Jinx: Next!

Attempt number 3. This time, Jinx started it out.

Jinx: Okay. I like this.

She looked down at her outfit. A white robe which covered her entire body. She also had her hair in two buns.

Then Akali walked out, wearing the same thing. So did Ahri. And Kai'sa. And Eve.

Ahri: Huh. Not many women in the original Star Wars trilogy, is there?

You then stepped out dressed as Han Solo.

Y/N: Yeah.

The final attempt started with Akali walking out in excitement.

Akali: Finally! I'm a ninja!

She wore a blue outfit that seemed slightly revealing. By that, I mean she was dressed like 2011 Mortal Kombat Kitana. She even had the fans.

Akali: Aw yeah!

She struck a pose and moved her fan around excitedly. Kai'sa stepped out and apun her staff around.

She was dressed like Jade.

Kai'sa: I kinda like this one. I really like the green. Plus, I have the perfect tan for it.

Eve stepped out in pink. Two Sai in her hands. She was Mileena.

Akali: Aw. Why do you get to be pink?

Eve: My eyes are naturally yellow, Darling. It was like I was made for this.

Ahri stepped out, slightly embarrassed.

Ahri: What the heck am I even supposed to be? A police officer stripper?

Eve: Never disrespect Sonya Blade again. Plus, you rock the look. Your boobs are the perfect size.

Ahri: Please stop staring at my boobs.

Jinx/Akali: No.

Totoro: <Meow>

Eve: See? Even Totoro likes it.

What he actually said was....

Totoro: <You all look like you're about to jump out of a cake>

Jinx stepped out and grinned under her mask.

Jinx: Yeah! My main bitch Skarlet! Time to do some Blood Magik!

Yep. She was dressed as Skarlet. However, unlike the others, her outfit was from Mortal Kombat 11. Not 9 like everyone else's.

Funny how Jinx was the most modest one in the room.

Everyone then looked over at your space where they heard grunting.

Y/N: How the hell do they out this stuff on? Jesus.

Eve: Everything good in there, Boss?

You stepped out and tried to tie your forearm guards.

Y/N: Yeah. I just suck at using my left hand to tie stuff.

The girls all looked at you from head to toe. Even though you didn't have your mask on yet, they knew who you were.

Akali: Yo! You look sick!

Eve: I agree. You definitely have the body for it.

Jinx: Haha! Scorpion, dude! You look just like him! Only you ain't.

You just smiled as you looked at your yellow costume. You even had a chain.

Kai'sa pulled out her phone and started to film.

Akali: Do the thing! Do the thing!

You raised a brow.

Y/N: What thing?

Jinx: You know the thing. With the chain!

You smirked as you pulled it out. Fun fact, you actually used to participate in the local rodeo. You were quite good at lassoing things.

You looked directly at Ahri whose eyes went big.

Ahri: Y/N....

You threw the chain and it wrapped around Ahri perfectly.

Y/N: Get over here!

You pulled on the chain which pulled Ahri directly towards you. You caught her and held her bridal style as the others cheered. Ahri just laid in your arms with a red face.

Ahri: I think I'm done trying on costumes. Let's just go with these.

And so, you all agreed to go as Mortal Kombat characters.

Time to hit the Convention!
