You opened your eyes as your phone alarm went off. You reached over and turned it off before you sat up and stretched with a yawn. You dragged yourself out of bed and got dressed to be somewhat decent before you stepped outside of your room.

Kai'sa: To the left! The left!

Jinx: <scream>

Evelynn: Ahri! You got another package!

Ahri: Must be the dress Gucci sent me!

Akali: <What the hell was I suppose to do again? Something something kitchen. What did I need to do in the kitchen? Oh! I need to eat!>

You just sighed. It has officially been a whole 3 months since you started being the manager for KDA. Since then, you've either been at the studio recording, or at the house making sure nothing went wrong. You pretty much became a glorified babysitter at this point. At least you didn't have a black eye anymore.

Y/N: Jesus.

You walked over to the couch where you saw the game Jinx was playing while the others watched.

Y/N: Ahri, tell Gucci or whoever to stop sending you things until you clean out your closet for stuff you don't wear. Evelynn, stop wearing glasses indoors, you look like an asshole. Jinx, Kai'sa is right, go to the left and you'll find the door. And Akali, I'll make breakfast right now, stop skipping meals.

Evelynn: The female version of an asshole is a diva.

Y/N: No, it's a bitch. I was trying to be nice.

You left to the kitchen without another word. The girls all looked at each other for a moment before Ahri got up to go clean her closet and Evelynn took off her glasses. The world seemed so much brighter now. Jinx also followed your instructions and sure enough, she found what she was looking for.

Y/N: What do you want to eat?

Akali: Pancakes!

Kai'sa: French Toast!

Evelynn: Souls of the damned.

Jinx: Bagel!

Y/N: Pancakes it is.

You heard two groans, one cheer, and the utter look of disappointment. As you got to work with cooking breakfast, you wondered what you were going to do today. You had already filled out all the forms you needed to, you made the right phone calls, and you even lined up a few interviews for Ahri and Evelynn. Not that Evelynn really wanted to do them but you and Ahri convinced her otherwise.

Jinx: Psst.

You looked around the kitchen but found it completely empty.

Y/N: Uh, Jinx?

Jinx: Over here.

You followed the voice until you saw Jinx peeking in around the corner.

Y/N: Why are you hiding? And why are you whispering?

Jinx: Cause I don't want Ahri or Kai'sa hearing me. I don't think Akali or Evelynn really care.

You flipped the pancake.

Y/N: Uh huh. What do you want?

Jinx: So, I was in town the yesterday...

Y/N: I'm aware.

Jinx: And I found this shop. A very special store.

You raised a brow as she walked towards you. She then lifted up the big jar she was holding and your eyes went big.

Y/N: Is that....?

Jinx: Yep! It's legal here! And now that we have fat checks, I bought some for some celebration blunts!

You grabbed the jar of herb from her and looked at it. You then opened it, and took a whiff of it. It smelt so rich.

Y/N: Huh. So this is what it feels like to be rich.

Jinx: So, after breakfast, me and you should totally go out back and smoke some of this.

Y/N: Totally. Yeah, absolutely.

You finished making the food and told the girls to help themselves before you and Jinx snuck out to the pool area. You both walked toward the grass area where there was a seating area and Jinx got to work with rolling blunts while you looked at your email on your phone.

Now that you were KDA's manager, you had a lot of people messaging you about sponsorships, promos, and partnerships. Even collaborations which Akali seemed excited about.

Jinx: Aaaaaannnnnnddddd, done!

She held up her work to be praised but you just handed her your lighter. Jinx pouted but took it anyway while you laid back in the cushions of the seating with your feet up on the foot rest. Jinx began to smoke before she moved so that she was sitting on the top of the couch. Two hits and she passed it to you.

As you scrolled through the mess of emails, some from places you had only ever heard of in passing, you realized just how much your life was gonna change. These were crazy expensive brands sending you messages with offers to pay you to get the girls to wear their clothes or use their products.

Y/N: Jinx, I think this is a good time to stop and think about what we're doing.

Jinx: I agree.

The two of you sat there in silence for a moment before you took a hit. The smoke hit your lungs and you almost coughed one up.

Y/N: Holy <cough> shit. That's <cough> that's strong.

Jinx: Yeah. It is.

You and Jinx both laughed as you handed the blunt back to her. Jinx pulled out her phone and connected it to the Bluetooth speaker that was outside and started playing some music from her playlist. The two of you sat there and smoked a bit as you thought about what your job was exactly.

It was a nice day with the sun out and hardly any clouds. Jinx was dressed for the weather, a purple tank top, which allowed her tatted arm to show, and some shorts. You were dressed in a plain white tee and some pants you had laying around. You both didn't look like you belonged in this nice of a house.

Y/N: I, I seriously think these girls are going to do amazing things.

Jinx: What do you mean?

Y/N: Well, they're good. Amazing. We have one song recorded and it's amazing. They're all so dedicated to this as well. You can tell that they give a shit and that they're not in this for the fame or money.

Jinx: Well, I can see that, I guess. How tall do you think that tree is?

You looked over to the tree Jinx was talking about.

Y/N: No clue.

Jinx nodded.

Jinx: I'll measure it later. About what you said about the girls, yeah. I can see that.

Y/N: Yeah, yeah. I'm sure at first Evelynn may have been more about money, but she honestly seems to care about Ahri and the others. I, ah, I actually remember when Ahri was first signed. She was so happy to be able to make her music go world wide.

Jinx nodded as she passed you back the blunt.

Jinx: Yeah. I remember her walking around school like she was the shit. A lot of people believed that too.

You nodded as you took a hit.

Y/N: She kinda was. I mean, she was only 17 being in music videos and going on tour.

Jinx shrugged.

Jinx: I guess if you grew up being the only one with fox ears and a diamond tail, you'd be pretty proud to be that successful.

You thought back on when you first met her when you were just kids.

You were 6 when she moved in down the street with her grandma. You had met her grandma a few times since she would always have tea with your mother. One day, she brought Ahri with her and the two of you spent the whole day playing. You would find out a few years later that you were the first one to not even say anything about her ears or tail.

As you grew up with her, the two of you only got closer. The closer you got, the more comfortable you got with each other. You were the first person she sang in front of. She was the first person to see you cry. You went to dances together since neither of you could find dates and you would always go around town messing around.

That's probably why it hurt so damn much when you got into that fight.

Ahri: Well, I don't need you. Frankly, I don't want you.

Y/N: She deserves this. She's been through a lot.

Jinx: You still believe that? I remember you breaking your skateboard when you told me what happened.

Y/N: Yeah, well, I'm not a kid anymore. I can learn to forgive and forget. She apologized and she has been sincere.

Jinx gave it some thought before she sighed.

Jinx: I guess you do have a point. Did you know the largest fish in the world is actually a shark. Specifically, the whale shark, which grows to more than 50 feet long and may weigh several tons. The second largest is the basking shark, which can measure 35 to 40 feet long.

You looked at her for a moment before you nodded.

Y/N: Good to know.

Evelynn: So you're a nerd.

The two of you looked over to see Evelynn and Ahri walking towards the two of you. You suddenly looked like two kids getting busted for doing something you shouldn't be doing.

Ahri: What do we have here?

Y/N: Ah.....shark facts.

Jinx: Fish facts.

Y/N: Yeah, whatever.

Evelynn took the blunt from you and sat next to you as she took a hit.

Ahri: I don't care what you do. I'm actually glad you at least went outside to smoke.

Jinx: Oh? Is "Pop Star Ahri" gonna smoke with us?

Evelynn: She doesn't smoke. Akali and Kai'sa don't either.

Y/N: Figured. Are they at least eating?

Ahri: They are. We came out here to talk to you.

You raised a brow.

Evelynn: We have the song done. It's time for the next step.

Jinx: A scandal?

Y/N: Who's sleeping with who?

Ahri: What?! No!

You and Jinx laughed at her extremely red face while Evelynn playfully rolled her eyes.

Evelynn: Oh, sweet Ahri. You're still so innocent. When was the last time you went to bed with someone?

Ahri: T-That's none of your business!

You were slightly interested now. Jinx shoved your shoulder as she laughed.

Jinx: No wonder she's so serious.

You shook your head and looked back to Ahri and Evelynn.

Y/N: So, what's the next step. Seriously?

Ahri took a deep breath to gather herself.

Ahri: We need a music video. We also need to get those social media accounts up and running.

You looked at your phone for a moment. You had completely forgot about the accounts. You didn't even have one for yourself, but Evelynn insited on it.

Y/N: Right. Well before we do that, I still need to get in touch with a label so that they can put your song out there.

Jinx: Oh yeah. We have that meeting in two days with the guy from Last Straw.

Last Straw was a big record company that was second only to Lost Heart. If you could get these girls a record deal without much restrictions, then they'd be set for the rest of their careers.

Evelynn: Alright then. Once you do get us a deal, we'll move on to the next step.

Ahri: Hopefully it'll be soon.

Evelynn: Speaking of which, you are our manager now. That means not only do you manage KDA, you manage me and Ahri.

You raised a brow. What was she going on about?

Evelynn: I had gotten a club invitation. They want my apparence.

Jinx: The hell is that?

Ahri: Sometimes clubs will pay us to shoe up and hang out. It helps boost their reputation and gives them clout.

Evelynn: More importantly, it gives us a chance to tease our fans with a new project. We can bring Kai'sa and Akali and give them a taste of what to expect.

You rolled your eyes as you snatched the blunt back from Evelynn.

Y/N: Yeah, sure. We'll go to the club.

You looked over to Ahri.

Ahri: I guess I'll go talk to the others about it. I'm gonna head inside now.

She waved and left the three of you outside.

Y/N: So, nice day, huh?

Evelynn: Absolutely.
