Jon's apartment
The doorbell rings disturbing Jon's sleep, he didn't want to wake up from his sleep, the world is turning into something he is not ready for , and he is finally believing in what Keke said about the virus outbreak, but he won't tell Keke that of course, it's been hectic all week and he fears the worst are yet to come..

It's Sunday and he hardly go to church, which he claims he has his own reasons for not going , and it's not that he doesn't believe there is a God out there, he needed the rest and he certainly wasn't expecting anyone, so who could that be ..

He is forced to wake up , since the person kept ringing the bell, if he didn't go out to check , his neighbours might  have his head for dinner tonight, he got up put some shorts on  and headed to the door , unfortunately he didn't check through the tight hole created in the door to see who is standing in front of it , he annoying opened the door and there, something unexpected..

" we need to talk" the person standing in front of him said ..

A week ago, Monday..
"Brother" ..Micheal said almost in tears. " wait , am I hearing correctly Brother?" Keke asked curiously , " the same here" their  boss and Derek said together..

"It's been years, and you have been here all along" Micheal said still looking at Jon, waiting for him to say something ..
"You really have a brother?" Keke asked , " Brothers actually" Micheal interjected and smiled , " And you said you have no family" Derek said with a surprised look on his face ..

" I don't" Jon stated, the smile on Micheal face dropped as soon as he heard those words. " I am surprised as you are , I don't have a brother or brothers as far as I am concerned, so I am truly sorry you've mistaken me for somebody else.."

" yeah you might be mistaken sir , when Jon came looking for a job here , he definitely said he had no family and that he would dedicate his life for this company, that was one of the reasons why we picked him in the first place , no offence Jon".. their boss explained

"None taken" jon assured his boss, Micheal smiled again, it was a bitter smile , for he was sad by his brother's lies, but he kept his cool , he thought for a moment and realised if he pushed further , his brother might lose his job, so he agreed on the fact that maybe he had mistaken Jon for his brother and left with the boss..

He kept looking back, hoping his little brother will do the same but Jon never looked back..

Present..
"We need to talk Jon" Micheal stated, Jon tries to close the door , but Micheal blocks it by using his foot , leaving Jon no choice but to let him in, he let go of the door and Micheal enters..

Jon walks away and Micheal follows behind " hey we need to talk and stop walking away from me and listen to me ok" Micheal yells softly.. Jon stopped walking and look back at his brother , making his brother nervous , he is taller now even though he has a baby face , but it's expected since he is the younger brother , usually they grow taller than their big brothers right he thought to himself..

"Give me one good reason for me to listen to you and maybe I will think about it" Jon says and turned to take a seat. " really Jon, do I have to give you a reason?"  Micheal asked , Jon nods to confirm.

Micheal chuckles and speak " Because I am your brother , l love and care for you and I have been looking for you for the past ten years , so isn't that a good reason to listen to me now"

"Nope, the fact that you are my brother and you love me doesn't move or change anything , and you looking for me , hmmm well, why? What for?, that I will listen" Jon said to him..

Micheal tries to get closer but is stopped by Jon , he stopped and said  " we need our brother back , no I need my brother back, you've been gone for a long time , don't you think it's time for you to come home"

"Home, it's been a while since I heard that, I thought I had no home to begin with" Jon says and laughs softly , well you have one minute left to say whatever you want to say" he added..

"What?" Micheal exclaims,  " the more you waste time the more the clock keeps ticking" Jon warns, Micheal realised his brother isn't joking ,he smiles and breath in , he felt bad and sad at the same time , he finally spoke..

"I know we did some shitty things to you when we were young , and I can't take it back nor turn back time , but I am so so so sorry , and I know it's won't change the past now , but we were children, we knew nothing, just stupid and foolish"Micheal speech is cut short with Jon making clock sounds.

"tick tack , tick tack, tick tack, times up Mr. Asante , That was a hmmm a nice speech but I wasn't touch , so you can leave now". Micheal felt his knees giving up, did they lose their brother for good or their brother has changed for the worst..

The door bell rings again, " And who is it this time , is it Derek , for God sake can't I have a little rest" He says as he walks pass his brother to open the door , Micheal getting himself back to reality, remembered something , he quickly turned to stop his brother but it was too late , Jon had just opened the door and his two brothers were standing there..

" Jon, it's really you , you've changed a lot" Kofi said to him, Jon turned and looked at Micheal and said " so the whole squad is here , what a nice surprise, good one there".

He welcomed his brothers in , and went back to his seat, " so what do I owe with this unexpected visit , may I know the reason" Jon asked sarcastically , kofi  chuckled and looked around and back to Jon , " so that is how you talk to your older brothers , you really have changed, you got guts" he said..

Jon suddenly laughs at the remark , surprising his brothers , they looked on confused about the sudden change of attitude, "sorry for laughing like that , it's just funny , you know , when you said older brothers , you got me there , hmmm , as far as I know , I am the only child of whoever my parents were which of course I don't know them , so basically I don't have a family"..  Jon explains

"What nonsense is this , if you not ready to receive us that is fine , but don't you dare mock us , we are still your brothers and you have to give us that respect" Jacob yells..

" this is my house , so you can't come here and tell me what to do and what not to do , I gave you one minute" Jon says looking back at Micheal " your time was up a long time ago , take your friends and leave my house right now , I don't need this early in the morning" he added.

"Jon don't do this , we can fix this , let the past be  in the past and start anew , please just this once , don't ..  don't make the same mistake we did".. Micheal said nervously..

Micheal looks at Jacob and Kofi and signalled them to say something , but jon had turned his back to them, Jacob took the lead and spoke

" we did wrong for blaming father's death on you , we get it now , we were stupid and just fools who didn't consider your feelings , and I am sorry" he says as he tightened his fist , Kofi still in his rebellious mood , kept his face on the other side , folding his hands on his chest..

Micheal getting pissed at Kofi's attitude and yells at him " stop with that attitude of yours kofi , you better ask  for forgiveness , since you are the fool who got us into this mess in the first place".

" what did I do wrong , don't forget he is the reason mama is not here anymore , and as for father , he did what he thought was right and as his children shouldn't we please our parents"

"Kofi" Micheal yells, jon slowly turns and smiles, " don't listen to this stupid brother of ours" Micheal tries to convince him , " look we didn't mean what we did in the past , I -I just did what I was told , I swear I meant no harm.." Jacob explains..

"Are you done with this drama of yours , if you are , well the door is opened , you can leave" Jon informs them. " After all that we said your heart is still closed to us, why ? You think it was easy for us to do what we did , I protested , it was his dying wish and and .."

Jon cuts in " And what ? you couldn't deny a dying man wish , I guess , hmmm , have long forgot about that , when was the last time I thought about it , I can't remember," he smiled as speak, " you know now that we are being real with each other let me just say it..

I can't forgive you Jacob, no matter how hard I try I just can't , I pretty sure I have  killed your more than a thousand times in my head, as for Kofi , I don't really care about his silly remarks , well he just like me , you know , he is young and stupid , I expected that from him , and for you Mick , you the only one who was good to me , not that good but at least , you made me feel that you loved me within that few minutes back then.."

As an older brother , do you know what your responsibilities are ? , it's not to follow the footsteps of your parents, or do what they tell you to do , or be the best son to them and the world , No , your duty is to set an example and protect your younger siblings , that was your duty as my big brother , and what did you do ..

Tell me !! Jon yells. His statements surprises his brothers, especially Jacob, deep down he knew what his brother was saying is the truth, he couldn't handle his tears that he had kept inside him for so long , it came flowing , Micheal and Kofi saw how hurt he was and how much pain he was in ..

You made me suffer , for a crime I didn't commit, I heard the stories about the child who laughed at his mother death, I was but a child , how could I know when to laugh and when not to , you abandoned me , broke my heart into pieces, you have no idea how hard it was for me , so I don't care whether you regret or not , so go back to where you came , I don't need any of you.. go!!

"Everything you said , it's true, I am not the best older brother , I can't ask for forgiveness for what I did , because it's unforgivable, but I love you and I was so stupid not to realise that , but right now the world need you Jon, not us , we know how different you are from us , from the day you were born , you were different and maybe that is why we or I did what I did in the past , I guess I was jealous, so please Jon let set aside our differences and work together , that is all ask , that is All" Jacob voiced out..

Jon bust into tears and kneels , Micheal goes to help him, he holds him tight and calms him down " it's ok, we are here now , everything is going to be fine" the rest did the same and came to hug him.

The long awaited reunion has finally come ..

Flashback...
Cargo ship headed to the US , finally lands , the captain goes to the back to check on his goods, and unfortunately Jon and the others were fast asleep , he shouts and wakes them up , they were caught , jon thoughts it would be wise if he surrendered but the others thought otherwise..

They pushed some of the items off the ship and tried to escape , fortunately they did , but not for long, Jon managed to escape too but they got to them and it didn't end well with the others as the my were gun down.

Jon trying not to be caught by them found himself facing one of them who held a gun to his head , he struggled with the man and escaped but was shot from the back , two bullets straight to his spin , he fell and died , his body thrown into a dump site..

Four hours later ..
A dump site
Jon suddenly wakes up ..

"Where am I"...
