           There are a lot of people surrounded there, including management, staffs, and other students of UOM (University of Madras).

  "Did you inform the police? " asked Venkatesh Rao(Senior professor in Forensic Pathology division).

  "Yes Sir." replied Rajesh (A staff of UOM).

The people surrounded in the spot were muttering about the death.

  "Hey, Did you call Hritika?" asked Riya (Classmate of REBELS and DEVILS).

  "No,her phone was switched off so I called Madheeha." Mahima replied.

     The sound of the siren was coming closer to their ears, a red innova (Police car) has entered to the spot. A man came out of the car wearing khaki colour police uniform, having two stars and an emblem of India on shoulder. He was Mr. Adith Mohan, DCP (Deputy Commissioner of Police) of North Chennai.
     
       He put on his cooling glass. A constable came and saluted him.

  "Where is the body?" enquired Mr. Adith.

  "Body is inside the room Sir." answered Constable Hari.

They went inside the house, Adith observed around.

  "Sir, the body is inside this room." Hari pointed Anjana's room.

  "Wait! What is that on the table?" Adith was staring on a bowl kept on the table.

  "Sir, It's porridge!"

  "Porridge?! Did you give it for test?"
  "Yes, Sir."

  Adith nodded back.

They moved towards the first room on right side near the sitting room. Adith removed his glasses and stared at the corpse. It was lying straight on the bed.
He took a glance around and said to himself "There is nothing here to suspect!"

  "Is she living alone here?"Adith enquired to Hari."

  "No Sir, her friends are also here." replied Hari.

  "Where are they? Call them here."

  "Ok Sir"

  "Hey, Three of you come here, Sir is calling you." Hari called the rest three members of DEVILS who were sitting lost in the death of their friend, as soon as they heard him they came out of the thoughts of their Anju and followed him.

Adith stepped out of the room and saw them coming towards him.

  "So, you three are her friends."

They nodded in the means of agreeing to him.

  "Just friends or best friends? "

  "We were like a family sir,so closed to each other." Stella weaped and replied.

  "Ooh! Ok...who saw the dead body first?"

  "Me,Sir" Jessica replied.

  "How?"

  "We were in Abhirami Mega Mall....."
(She explains)

  "Hey girls come fast." Urged Rhyna.

  "Yeah, Let's go." Nodded Stella.

  "Take care, have your medicine" Said Jessica.

  "Sure" Anjana replied to her by coughing.

Jessica took the car's key from the table and they set out from their home.

Abhirami Mega Mall

  "Come, let's go to the 2nd floor. There is a new cosmetic shop recently inaugurated near the food court."

They entered to the shop and started choosing cosmetics.

"What is the time right now? I forgot to take my watch and my phone is also switched off." asked Stella.

Jessica opened her bag and took out the phone. "It is 7:57..." Thinking something she rechecked her bag. 
 
"Oh Ghosh!..., I forgot to take our debit card."

  "Now, what to do?"

  "I'll go home and take it meanwhile you select the things that you want."
Said Jessica and she left the mall.

Jessica reached their home and rang the bell continuously.

  "What is this? Where is this Anju? Why is she not opening the door? Helloooo......" She knocked the door loudly "Hey..... Anju open the door yaar" A fear covered her face, She checked for a spare key in her bag. "Thank god" Jessica opened the door with the spare key she had.

Abhirami Mega Mall

  "Hey, This palette is really good! Right?" Opined Rhyna.

  "Yeah yeah..... Let's buy it." Replied Stella.

"Where is this Jessi?!...Did she return or what? It's 8:20 now!"

  "Let me call her."

Devils's House

  "Anjuuu.....Anjuuuu.....Anjuuuu....." Jessica shouted and moved on to Anjana's room and opened the door. Anjana was laying on the bed.

"I was knocking the door in such a way, even though you didn't hear... I was scared... hey, I am shouting here... Still are you sleeping?!...." Jessica tried to awake Anjana.

"Hey Anju...Anju get up man...Anju..." She got a slight fear.

"Anju get up dear!!!"  she checked her pulse with a doubt and fear.

'Kling klingg....kling klingg....' Jessica attended the call.

"Hehehello" Jessica's  eyes were filledwith tears,her sound was shivering,mind was blank.

Rhyna: "Hello, Jessi... where are you? Didn't return yet?"

Jessica: "RRR...RRhyna..." The feelings she halted in her, started to come out as tears and she started to burst herself out.

  "Hey, what happened? What happened to your voice? Are you crying? "

  "Anju..."

  " Anju? What? What happened? "

  "Our Anju.....Our Anju is________ Huh!  Oh ghosh!!" The phone's battery is dead. She threw the phone and fell on knee. Jessica is still crying, every walls and pillars could feel her pain.

Abhirami Mega Mall

"Hello...hello...!"

"What happened?" Asked Stella.

"I don't know...she was crying , let me try again." Rhyna called to Jessica's phone again. "Oh shit!....her phone is switched off." She shouted to herself.
"Something is wrong, Let's leave the things here and go back to home , we can come another day and purchase."
They caught an Autorickshaw and left the mall.

8:40pm
Devils's House

Rhyna and Stella entered the house.           "Jessi.....Jessi.....Jessi......Anju.....Anju.....Hey where are you guys?"Rhyna called.

"Where did they go without shutting the door?" Stella followed Rhyna

Rhyna and Stella passed infront of Anjana's room.

"Hey, here they are." Rhyna showed them to Stella.

"Jessi , what happened? What happened to Anju?" Asked Stella.
Jessica looked at Anjana and her mere tears was her reply.

"Hey Anjuuu..." Rhyna screamed.

"What happened? Stop crying and say something, what happened?" Stella felt something wrong and she checked Anjana's pulse.

As soon as she checked the pulse, they were all quite,not even a buzzing of a fly. Their vision was clouded with tears.

Devils's House

  "Then we informed it to our Senior Professor Mr. Venkatesh Rao." Jessica explained the incident to DCP Adith Mohan with tearful eyes.

Constable noted Jessica's words. Adith nodded and stepped out of the house.

Meanwhile,

"Oh God what a traffic!" Madheeha punched on to the steering angrily.

"But how did it happen?" Asked Omisha.

Hritika and Roslin were in a world of deep thoughts to which no one was able to enter.

"Hey, what are you thinking girls?" Madheeha intruded on the boundary of Hritika's and Roslin's world of thoughts.

Devils's House

   As Adith was about to enter the car, another car entered to the courtyard.
  "Who are they?" Adith enquired.

  "They are Anjana's classmates. "  replied constable.

  "Hmmmm" Adith nodded and left the spot.

      REBELS entered to the spot.

"What happened? " asked Omisha.

Mahima explained whatever she heard from Jessica's words. When Omisha , Madheeha and Mahima were discussing About Anjana, Hritika and Roslin were Observing the scene. Meanwhile, the rest of the members in DEVILS were staring at them.

On the other side, Two attenders got down from the ambulance carrying a stretcher went inside the house and took the corpse on it and left the spot.

       Anjana was living in her ancestral home in Madurai till completing her +2. After that , she came to Chepauk and started her professional studies staying with her friends in a rental house.

3:20 am
Madurai (Anjana's ancestral home)

     When the night misuses our blindness over murk, the eclipse obscure the beauty of the house but the tiny lights and shining stars adumbrate the dimensions of house. But still...It looks like something is going to happen....this happy family is going to cry.....yes....they are going to face a tragedy.....yes....it's coming.....it's approaching them.

      All are sleeping. A siren's sound is coming closer to their home. Each room started to light.

  "What is that sound? It's coming to our home. Right?" Anjana's grandma asked with a shivering voice.

She came forward to the door with her unhealthy body. She was having a stick in her hand to support herself.
The vehicle has reached infront of the gate.

"It's an ambulance. , why is it coming to our home?"  Anjana's Dad , Mr. Santhosh Dev said to himself.

Anjana's dad opened the gate for the Ambulance and he followed them to courtyard. Two attenders came out from the ambulance with a stretcher carrying a body. They put the stretcher in threshold and slightly removed the white cloth from the face. Anjana's father, mother and her grandmother were surrounded on the corpse. As soon as they revealed the face , her mother and grandmother started to burst out and cry and his father was stilled emotionless. As the time pass by, moon started to disappear, sun started to appear, neighbours and family started to arrive . The house was filled with tears of people including grandmothers, grandfathers, uncles, aunts and infants etc and laughter of children playing around knowing nothing.The funeral was happened later after everyone's arrival.

Hey dear friends,

I have introduced a new main character in this chapter ' DCP Adith Mohan'. Let's see what he is gonna do in the story.Another note; I have given time of each scenes for your better understanding but if you feel it like confusing, I am extremely sorry. Till now , our investigation didn't start but from next chapter onwards we are gonna start the investigation. So I'm sure it's gonna be interesting from next chapter onwards....Lot of surprises....Lot of twists....😉😎...
