The Iron Fisted Outlaw Returns.
It was the night of November 24, Survivor Series is barely an hour into the show and a ghost from 'The Man' Becky Lynch's past has arrived. A little grizzled and a little weathered and worn from his self imposed seclusion. But in great shape. And it's about to get real for one Irish redhead.
I had barely gotten to my locker room and began to unpack. I looked at the monitor here and there and saw it was getting closer to the triple threat Champion vs Champion match between Shayna, Bayley and Becky. I was to make my return after the aforementioned triple threat match. Once I was ready for my return I headed to the gorilla and waited for the match to be over. When it started looking like it was going to end with Shayna being the victor. I ran down to the ring and distracted the referee. Which Bayley took advantage of by nailing Shayna with her Bayley to Belly Suplex. Eventually I gripped the back of the refs head and slammed his face in the turnbuckle knocking him out. Then stepped into the ring and laid out Bayley with a fierce left hook. Then when Shayna got up I knocked her out with right uppercut which made her go right over the top rope and crash to the outside of the ring. Becky noticed someone else was in the ring and when she turned to me I just stood there for a long time as she looked in my eyes. Pretty soon I left the ring and headed to the back as the referee was regaining consciousness. Becky went for the cover on Bayley for the win and got it. Even though she was happy she won, she couldn't help but wonder why I helped her or what brought me back into her life.
When she reached the back she made tracks to my locker room. She burst through the door of my locker room and approached me. "Well I see that you still don't care about privacy or even alone time." I said as she breathed in and out slowly and carefully.
"Why are you here?" She asked.
"Oh I forgot was that supposed to be your moment?" I joked at her expense. "Not very polite of me to rain on somebodies moment. I wonder who rained on mine. I can't quite think of who it was."
"I don't want you here. We've been broken up..."
"Oh yeah. You. I don't care what you think Becky. Dating Seth Rollins behind my back even though we were together. Kinda makes your opinion at the moment, not that important." She was shocked by my ferocity. "You knew we were dating. But oh no the Lass Kicker, oops sorry, I mean The Man." I slid my hands over my face in frustration. "Just because you take the stripes off a skunk don't change it's smell none. You broke my heart Rebecca. Oh I'm sorry I should give you the respect due a superstar of your caliber." I walked over to the door and opened it before I said, "Now get the hell out of my locker room before they'll have to carry you out on a stretcher, unless you prefer sandwich bags?"I smiled at that little add on. "You used to be happy with me. With your Lass Kicker persona. But I guess you didn't like Rousey stealing all the attention from you or Charlotte, which I totally get. But you were..." She slugged me. A perfect left cross. She immediately regretted it and before I could do or say anything. I looked outside the locker room door and saw Rollins. "My apologies, didn't know Beastslayer Rollins was waiting." I looked at a distraught Lynch. "And for the record. I wasn't going to show up. Until Hunter told me I'd be able win next years Rumble. That's if I'm a good boy. Can you say you've been good all year," She barely passed me when I said, "Rousey Jr." The moment she turned all she met was steel.
Eventually Rollins was able to pry his fiancee from my locker room door. And slowly calm her down. The entire night she drove Rollins nuts with questions as to why I called her Rousey Jr. The reason I know is because their room was right below mine. The big clue was when Seth made fun of Ireland which even I knew was the biggest mistake anyone could possibly make. I should know. I was in her doghouse for the longest time when I did it let's just say I didn't see the bedroom until the following year. Yeah it's bad news to be in Becky's Doghouse. I didn't feel sorry for him as a concussion grade headache was seconds away for him. I wasn't awake when the shit really hit the fan and slept soundly for the rest of the night.
The next morning I woke up early and went for my morning jog or run. And ran into Bayley and Sasha who looked worse for the wear.
"What's wrong girls? Your usually so chipper in the morning?" I asked them as we all stopped by a tree.
"Becky and Seth had a major argument last night." I feigned shock and surprise which Sasha noticed and smiled.
"So that was what the noise was. I could have sworn it was a honeymooning couple form Glasgow. Or was it Dublin?"Bayley rolled her eyes.
"Pamela. Would go on without me. I need to talk to Daniel for a bit."
"Yeah, see you at the arena."
I looked to Sasha who smiled as she approached me. "So why did you come back? Last time I checked you swore you wouldn't come back after she betrayed you by starting to date Seth behind your back?"
"Yeah. But I just can't leave the chapter incomplete Mercy. I just can't."
"Ooohhh, so you want to see if she still loves you deep down?" She smiled as she swept a hair from my forehead behind my ear.
"Something you want to tell me Mercy?" I grinned.
"Daniel. When you left after Rebecca's secret affair with Rollins was revealed. As you very well know even before Wrestlemania 35 I was having problems with WWE brass keeping their word." I nodded. "But on my hiatus after Mania. I kept watch over your career in the indie's. But when nothing was said about your quiet bow out of the limelight. I got so angry that nobody covered that. I actually found out that Vince and the higher ups wanted it that way. And they also played up on the 'blossoming' relationship between Becky and Seth and made them the Golden Couple. I hated how they took pride in announcing their engagement over social media. I wanted to take Becky's head off or rip her heart out at Clash and Hell In A Cell." I smiled at that comment. "Back in June around the time of Stomping Grounds, I started having trouble in my relationship with Mikaze." She put her left hand on her hip as she continued, "We were divorced within weeks after Stomping Ground." I slid a hand to her back in a reassuring up and down motion. She smiled at the gesture. "So even though I know you won't take it, with everything that has been going with your return among other things. But would you like to have a travel partner?" She asked surprising me a bit. "Trust me, this isn't me asking you on a date." My right eyebrow perked up. "Okay. Not yet. But..."
"You want to make sure that if Becky doesn't actually still love me anymore. You want to somehow take her place?" She nodded. "Of all the years which we've known each other. I've never really saw myself with anyone but Becky." She frowned a bit. "But since she forgot all about me in so little time. And if, my little test proves me wrong, and Becky doesn't love me anymore. I might venture into being with someone else." She smiled and hugged me. "So for now, you have a travel partner or boyfriend or however you want to spin it." She squealed in delight as we finally finished our run. When we reached the lobby of the hotel and were at a bank of elevators. Mercy asked, "So will I be staying with you, or will you be staying with me?"
"Well, since it's been a while. I think. It would be kind of interesting to bunk with the Legit Boss."
"Okay." She grinned. Once an elevator opened, we walked inside and pressed our floor numbers and waited as the doors closed and the elevator started going up. While I tapped the bar across the back of the elevator. I noticed that Mercy's hand was creeping up to mine. I looked at her and she smiled as did I. I slid my hand over hers. And wrapped my left hand around her right. Then pulled her in close which made her giggle. "Is it wrong for me to hope that she doesn't love you at all anymore?" I smiled as I reached over and pulled the elevator stop button.
Once the elevevator stopped, I looked to Sasha and grinned. "No. It's not wrong. A little provocative. But not wrong." I leaned in and smiled. Sasha grinned evilly. And pulled me the rest of the way in for a kiss. After a moment or two she pulled away and we both smiled. "Ohh now I'm hoping she doesn't love me anymore." I kissed her forehead, and hugged her tightly against me. Then pressed the elevator stop button making the elevator start going up again.
When we reached her floor. She kissed me one last time. "I'll see you at the arena." She smiled as she blew me a kiss as the elevator doors closed. I grinned as I had a new girl but first I had to deal with my ex and find out if she truly forgot about us. And since I had a possible new love. I had to think fast. And I know just the thing to really bring Becky to either a full on jealous rage or just be the pissy little shit that she's become. Either way. By the end of tonight I'll see if she still loves me. So I packed my arena bag with fresh clothes and a clean attire which wasn't really much because all I wore to the ring was a pair of jeans, work boots, occasionally a denim button up or just a denim shirt. Tonight I was going to wear a copy of the one thing I promised never to wear again. But I was going to wear it to make a point. When me and Becky first started dating she gave me a leather jacket that had my name on it along with hers on the sleeves. She gave me the jacket as a symbol of our undying love for each other. But I knew if I wanted to get a response from Becky. I had to involve the jacket in my return promo. And even though I had a the original at home in a glass case on the wall in my trophy room. I hated doing what I was about to do.
At the arena...
I walked into my locker room and got prepped for my return promo. When I finished a knock came to my door and I walked over and opened the door and found Sasha. I stepped aside and let her in. "Just the girl I wanted to see." I closed the door and turned to see her smiling.
"Good. Cause I've been aching to see you." I smiled as she approached me and turned in my arms and I held her close. "Your such an amazing kisser." She giggled as I leaned down and kissed her neck.
"Your no slouch yourself." I whispered in her ear.
Soon she lightly moaned as she said, "Careful baby. Don't start what you can't finish."
"Oh rest assured Mercy honey. If I did start something with you. I'd take great pleasure in finishing it."
"Mmmm, I definitely believe you." I grinned as she once again turned in my arms and looked up at me. "So what did you need to see me about?"
"Well, since our kiss this morning." She grinned. "I've been thinking of how to accelerate my plans. And I think I have a plan." I told Sasha my plan to have her come out after Becky did which would be a foregone conclusion considering she would be pissed that I interfered in her match the night before. But as an added bonus. I told her that she'd kiss me in front of Becky and that it should illicit a reaction from Becky.
"So, you're plan is for me to come out during your return promo after Becky does and kiss you in front of her to get a reaction or rise out of her?"
"Exactly. It would give me a chance to see if my Becky is still inside that ridiculous persona of the Man or not."
"And what if she truly doesn't love you anymore?"
"Then I guess I'll have to move on and hope I find someone else."
"Mmm. You, have someone in mind?" She grinned evilly.
"Yes. And she's right in front of me." I smiled as I kissed her forehead as she held me tight around my waist.
"I hope this isn't too presumptuous, but. I love you."
"Not at all. And I love you more." She looked up at me and I kissed her lips and she pulled away and smiled.
"Well I'm sure I'll know when to come out. And I really hope that she doesn't react to me kissing you because if you don't mind me saying, she had her chance with you. And I don't want to share you or want to lose you to that vindictive, manipulative ginger bitch." I kissed her forehead and smiled.
"If all goes well tonight. We'll find out if she doesn't love me anymore and has forgotten all about me. And if either is true,at least I'll have a blue haired beauty by my side." Sasha kissed my cheek and left my locker room and once I was ready for my return promo, jacket and all and headed to the gorilla and waited for my cue. Once my new theme hit I made my way out to the ring to the biggest pop of the night. I smiled as I entered the ring. I looked around and opened my arms wide as the crowd cheered and I basked in the fact that the fans were happy to see me back. "Well, after a welcome home like that. I'd say I'm pleased as punch to be back in WWE. Right where I belong." Before I could say anymore. Becky's theme came over the speakers and here she came down to the ring sporting the Raw Women's Championship over her shoulder. She surprisingly didn't do any showboating or grandstanding. She just grabbed a mic and stood near the timekeepers table. "Ladies and gentlemen, the Raw Women's Champion, and my ex girlfriend. 'The Man' Beck Lynch. Now what got stuck in your gears this time. Or are you going to just not talk to me and go screw your Architects brains out and then tell him what's the matter?" Becky was shocked at my blatant comment.
"You have a lot of nerve..." She started,
"Becky. Shut the hell up." I said nearly shouting. "We're all tired of your constant gas. Either about your long title reign or who you won it from. Or who your engaged to." She looked me coldly. "Glare at me all you want. Now if you have a point I'd suggest you get to it fast."
"I just want to know why you interfered in the triple threat Champion vs Champion match last night?"
"Last I checked you didn't explain why you stopped talking to me. So I'm not sure why if at all I should answer to you. The short version is that I thought I'd make an impact and since your fiance wasn't really wrestling considering he acted like God's gift to wrestling last night even after he was eliminated from the Survivor Series elimination match, so I thought I'd make an appearance during your match. Since it was you who broke my heart, you who started dating Seth behind my back. So I thought appearing during your triple threat would shake things up. Even you. And it seems I was correct. And since you forgot all about our relationship. I ran into a very beautiful girl this morning and she's tough, she's smart and oh yeah, she's a real BOSS." Sasha's theme hit and I smiled as she made her way to the ring. I opened the ropes and she slid into the ring and smiled as I handed her the mic.
"Becky. I always wondered why you let a man like this go. Or what I should say, how dumb are you to just out of the blue forget about him and just start dating that walking steroid you call a fiance?" She stood in front of me and and got right into Becky's face. "Let me remind you of something. It was Daniel who was there for you when nobody would book you in big matches. Daniel was always there whenever you were injured. He never asked for anything from you. As memory serves Bayley, me and Charlotte wondered what happened between you and Daniel. Because you didn't bring him up. You didn't even talk to him whenever he came around us. I was probably the only one that hated how you were treating him. And the next thing I know or we hear, is that you stopped talking to him and he left soon after." Becky started to avert her eyes. A feeling I was all too familiar with when she stopped talking to me before I left. It was somehow satisfying to see Becky be on the receiving end for a change and actually sport the same look I had more than once. I was on cloud nine as I put my left hand on Sasha's right shoulder and motioned for her to hand me the mic.
"You know what, Becks?" I asked as Sasha handed me the mic back. She shook her head. I extended my left hand to Sasha and she slid her right hand into it. "Since you started dating Seth behind my back. I guess that means I get to date Sasha. Excuse me." I pulled Sasha in close and dipped her causing her to smile and and bite her lower lip. I kissed her with enough heat and passion that I was certain would have made her hair color run. She wrapped her arms around my neck as she returned the kiss. Pretty soon we pulled away from each other and smiled at each other. Then looked to Becky who was clutching her title very tightly. Almost to the point of drawing blood. I looked into her eyes and there was no jealousy whatsoever. Nothing but anger that once again she was upstaged by the Legit Boss, also her ex boyfriend who now had a new girlfriend in Sasha. "Well, before you think it's Sasha's fault that you lost me, or that I didn't care about you. You might want to review what you did. Sasha said it best, I was there for you through everything. But somewhere down the line you started keeping secrets from me and started being quiet around me. In fact I'm surprised you didn't notice that I'm wearing the jacket you had made for me as a present for our six month anniversary." I looked to Sasha who helped me take it off and folded it. I gently took it and Sasha held the mic for me. "So. I'd say you really don't care about or love me. And since you didn't notice me wearing the jacket. I'd say you have forgotten all about us. And I was so hoping my gut was wrong for once." I dropped the jacket in the middle of the ring and pulled a zippo from my jeans pocket, lit it, held the flame to the jacket and after a few seconds the jacket ignited and I opened the ropes and Sasha left the ring and as I joined her on the ramp. "If there's anything left you can have it. I have a new girl and I know I can trust her and can talk to her and she'll at least tell me when something bothers her. Good day Miss Lynch." Sasha and I made our way to the back and I got my arena bag packed then met Sasha outside her and Bayley's locker room. Before Sasha came out of her locker room Seth approached me. I diffused anything he had to say by simply saying, "If you value your status among the living and breathing. I strongly advise you to bother someone else." When he tried to hit me I blocked his punch and sent my fist straight into his throat. Causing him to cough and sputter. "You should be okay in about ten minutes. But if I wanted to. I could've fractured your larynx."
"I'm ready to go baby." Sasha smiled as she slid into my left arm. With her suitcase, and two small duffels attached to the top.
"Okay. Oh and Seth." He rubbed his throat and looked at me. "Tell Rousey Jr. That if she ever darkens my or Mercy's door ever again. I can guarentee. She and you will be out of action for quite a while." I left with Mercy and headed to the hotel.
