Back to Work

Once the winter break was over and everyone was back, class started up again.

One day during Transfiguration class, Harry told me about something he found during break. He said it was a mirror that showed you the deepest desire of your heart. He said it was called the Mirror of Erised.

"Well that makes sense, considering Erised spelled backwards is Desire." I told him.

"Now that you point that out, yeah." he replied.

Later that day at lunch, George asked me what I was thinking about.

"Harry said he found this mirror that showed the deepest desire of your heart. Called the Mirror of Erised. I'm just thinking about what I would see. I don't know what I would see, because my life is almost pefect the way it is." I replied.

"You have a point."

"What would you see?"

"Classified information."

"You don't know and you're afraid to admit it!"

"You could say that, but you would only be fooling yourself."

"What do you mean?"

"You don't want to know, because you would never trust me again."

"What could possibly be that bad?"

"Ok, put it this way. I don't have the guts to tell you. Ask Lee in the common room later. I'll tell him before then."

"Ok?"

He walked away, and he was going red. I was very confused.

I went to charms class, and Draco asked me what was wrong, so I told him about my conversation with George.

"Definitely dodgy." Draco replied.

"Oh well, I'll find out later." I shrugged.

When I got to the common room later on, out Fred, George, and Lee, Lee was the only one there.

"Did George tell you what he would see in the Mirror of Erised?" I asked him.

"Yeah, and I actually find it comical he wouldn't tell you." Lee grinned.

"Well what is it?"

"He sees himself proposing to you."

"HE WHAT?!"

"That's how he thought you'd take it."

I then went to the library to work on my homework.
