MONDAY

I wake up with the early morning sunshine peaking through my curtains, I open my eyes slowly and try to mentally prepare myself for today. I slowly lift the blanket off me and put my feet on the floor. I pad over to my bathroom and step into the shower letting the warm water wake me up a bit. Stepping out of the shower I wrap a towel around myself and exit the bathroom. I stand in front of my cupboard as I dry myself off and decide what to wear. Feeling in a kind of lazy mood I settle for a pair of jeans and a black long sleeved shirt that I tuck into my jeans. I slip on some vans and run a hand through my tangled wet hair.

I walk over to my vanity before running a hair brush through the knots in my hair attempting to untangle them, with the help of a hair dryer and a straightener I finally manage to make my hair look somewhat acceptable. I am not really in the mood to do my makeup today so I settle for just putting on some moisturizer and then I grab my keys and phone and swipe my books that I need into my bag and head for the door. I check the time and see that I still have a decent amount of time before school starts so I decide to make some pancakes for my parents and I. I get everything ready and make my pancakes and set them on the table along with some syrup and extra toppings. I gulp my pancakes down along with some orange juice and quickly go to the bathroom to brush my teeth before heading out the front door and unlocking my car.

As I pull up to school and park my car I see Emmett standing on the steps. He seems to be waiting for someone, I brush it off and step out of my car and his eyes meet mine and a grin takes over his handsome features. I can't help the smile that appears on my face as I walk towards him. "Hey" he says as I reach him, "Who you waiting for?" I ask before I can stop myself. "I was waiting for you" he says with a smile and heat rushes to my cheeks. We walk inside together and I spot Gabbie. She looks at the two of us and winks before turning back to her locker. "I'll see you at lunch?" he says to me and I nod and he gives me a smile and walks towards his locker. I watch him walk away and I cant stop smiling. Damn... I really like him.

I make my way to Gabbie and she smiles at me as I reach her. "Hiya" I say and she responds with a hey and we both walk down the hall together. "So, you wanna come over later? Im in need of some serious girl time" she says and I smile and I immediately say yes because honestly I need it too. "So, are you close with Ava?" I ask and she looks at me. "No not really, we are friendly but she's always kinda been into Emmett" she says and my heart sinks. She seems to read my mind and reassures me, "don't worry Liz, Emmett seems crazy about you. I don't think he's going anywhere anytime soon" she says and I smile a little, I just hope she's right.

Later that day I get ready to go to Gabbies, I decide to keep the same outfit on and just grab a hoodie and some sweatpants incase I get uncomfortable and pack it in a little bag, I tell my parents I'll be back later and that I'm going to Gabbies before I go next door. I knock on the door and my hand reaches for the doorknob but before I can touch it the door opens and there stands Gabbie. Her hair is in a messy bun and she's got on sweatpants and big t-shirt yet somehow she manages to look pretty. "Come on in, the pizzas on its way" she says and I smile before entering her house. We head to her room and she switches on her TV and clicks on Netflix. We flick through all the movies and shows and eventually decide on FRIENDS because why not.

I lay back comfortably and so does she, we laugh along at the show and talk about school and her and Daniel which is apparently going really well, I'm so happy for her and for Daniel they both deserve it. The doorbell rings and she goes down and a few minutes later she emerges with 2 pizzas and my mouth waters as I reach my hands out for it. We eat our pizza in comfortable silence except for the TV show still playing and the time starts ticking by very fast. I decide that I should probably go home and I tell Gabbie and she asks if I wanna sleepover and I tell her sure but that I'd need to quickly run to my house and grab some stuff and she nods and I head downstairs.

When I get to my house I just grab a few things like my toothbrush and toothpaste, some makeup, an outfit for school tomorrow, chargers and a few other things. I ask my parents if I can sleep at Gabbies and they nod, I knew they'd say yes since they really like Gabbie and think she's a sweet girl. I smile and head out again and when I arrive at the door I don't knock since I was literally just here but when I open the door my mouth falls open and I drop my bag.

I see Ava kissing Emmett...
