Elizabeth's P.O.V

What? Why? How is this possible? Of course, I finally make a friend and her brother just so happens to be Emmett. Why world? I drove off as I was telling Gabbie about stories over the years. 

We got to school and I opened up the door and Gabbie opened hers, we both stepped out and walked into the school. I showed her to the front desk where she got all her information and I helped her find her locker. She did her combination and set everything down and then we went to my locker. On the front was a piece of paper which was stuck to my locker with a small piece of tape. Gabbie took the paper off and read it as a grin formed on her face. I looked around as she read it an saw sheets of paper on all the lockers. Gabbie handed me the piece of paper, it read:

Halloween Party

Place: (A/N too lazy to write an adress)

Time: 10pm-5am

Day: 31 October 2017 (A/N Which is tonight where they are)

Bring: Beer or anything

Come in a costume, hope to see you there ;)

Julianne? She is in my English class but we haven't ever spoken. "We are going and I am helping you dress up" Gabbie said with a smile and I laughed but agreed, who knows it could be fun. 

After school I sat on my bed waiting for Gabbie to show up, she had dropped Gabbie off after school and Gabbie said she was coming over at 7pm to hang out and get ready. Since it was only 6:30 pm I hopped in the shower and came out 15 minutes later. I then brushed my hair and left it for Gabbie to do. I brushed my teeth and had a mint so my breath smelt clean an got into simple clothes until Gabbie gave her the costume. At 7pm on the dot Gabbie walked into my room with costume bags, a makeup bags and some other stuff. "You ready?" She asked an I laughed "Sure." 

Gabbie showed me the costumes. 

There was 

-Harley Quinn 
-Wonderwoman
-Mulan
and Pocahontas  

I picked Pocahontas and she picked Wonder woman. I did her makeup using a reference picture of Wonder woman. She did my makeup and drew on a tribal mark with black body paint which looked amazing, she brushed my hair so that my hair was very straight  and then we were ready to go. We grabbed everything we needed and we went to my car. I drove us to the party and we entered. It was awesome to be honest, it was a regular teen house party with red cups littering the grass and the music so loud that it could be heard from 2 blocks away. 

As we entered the house Gabbie and I went to the dance floor and I saw a guy start to dance with her but I couldn't see his face. I danced to the music and I was feeling good, all problems disappeared and I felt carefree until...I turned around. There was a guy who I hadn't seen in a while but his face will permanently be in my memory. Adrian. As sad as it seems he still looked good. He was dressed as Iron-Man and he had grown up a little in the time I haven't seen him, he looked stronger and more tall. 

I looked away but then looked back again, as she looked back a girl dressed in a cat costume stepped up to him and kissed him. She was very confused but decided to ignore it until the girl turned around...no! Not again. Kelsey, that ... I turned and ran to the bathroom and grabbed a drink and poured it into the cup before chugging it down, tears started coming out as I remembered everything Kelsey, Dylan, Adrian, Bullying, kisses. I slipped down the cupboard landing up sitting on the floor as my tears kept coming. Someone entered the kitchen "Elizabeth?" The person, it was a guy and the voice, I think I have heard it before. The guy walks around the table to find me on the floor. I avoid eye contact until he sits down next to me. "Are you okay?" He asks gently and I look at him. He looks a bit familiar but I can't put a name to the face because of the drink I just had, the thoughts running through my head and also because he wore a masquerade mask. I nodded as I wiped at the tears. "No your not" he said and I nodded again. "Do you want to tell me?" he offers and something about his voice was comforting and his presence seemed...safe. So I launched into a full on explanation of everything from Adrian to Kelsey to Dylan and back to Adrian and Kelsey, he didn't speak he just listened and when I stopped he didn't laugh, call me 'over dramatic', or try offer any advice that I would have to pretend I was taking in. All he did was hold his arms open and wrap them around me in a way that was safe and warm and comforting. As I leant in to him, his cologne was nice and strong. I looked up at him and he was perfect. Everything he did tonight was perfect and still his face looked familiar but I couldn't wrap my head around who it was.

After a while of sitting there and having small whispers to each other we started leaning in and our lips touched and besides everything that happened. This was the best Halloween ever.
