" Jasper " my voice came out in a soft whisper as I gazed into the golden eyes I fell for. He looked down with a soft gaze and a smile played on his face. Suddenly his gaze tuned concerned and angry I mean you could see the anger roll off his body in  waves. " Are you okay? did he hurt you? god i'm going to kill him slowly" Jasper started to pace not realizing I was still in his arms. That made my brain click as I slowly came out of Jasper's arm and stood up on two feet. He wrapped his arms around my back and took a deep breath of my scent I think? " That man, he- he had red eyes and moved way too fast for a human, what - what was he" I kept stumbling over my words and fear was creeping into them. Jasper tightened his grip on my waist when I asked about the man. " We should go back to our house and talk" I heard a unfamiliar voice ring out to my left. It startled me and I could feel a rumble and a growl that sounded like an animal come from jasper. I made a mental note to ask about that later but now was now. My thoughts came to a fast stop as I thought about Jake. My panic levels raised fast as I struggled my way out of jasper's grip and started running to my house. I could hear pounding feet behind me. I suddenly ran into what felt like a stone wall. Arms wrapped themselves around my waist and a head burrowed in my neck. I started struggling to move as my mind only went to Jake I had to make sure he was okay. " Let me go, I  have to get to Jake, please"I could hear my voice start out strong and at the end my voice wavered and cracked. I let out a little sob of Jake's name and hugged Jasper back tightly. suddenly I felt a sudden whip of air and then nothing. " look around he's safe" I heard Jasper whisper slightly in my ear but just enough for me to hear what he was saying. Quickly letting go of him I looked around and saw that we were back into my room. I made another mental note to ask him what the heck is going on. I spotted Jake in bed as I rushed over to him. I bent down and softly stroked his face with my thumb. " good, you're safe " I whispered softly and kissed him on the forehead. Whipping around I face Jasper with a angry face. " you have so much explaining to do right now." I was still whispered but it sounded less threatening but I swear it was really threatening in my mind. He nodded his head and held out his hand inviting me to take it. "come i'll explain everything when we get to my house ma'am" and with that I stepped forward and took his hand. The whole swooshing this happened again but we were at the porch of a really huge house. " okay, next time warning please " I said as i bent down putting my hands on my knees trying to get the dizzy out of my head. " my apologize ma'am " He replayed as he put his cold hang on my back trying to help a bit. " you're lucky you're cute mister " I whispered as I stood up strait. I swore I could of heard him laugh a little. He grabbed my hand and walked into the amazing house. I was in Awe of house amazing it really looked it was very open, a whole bunch of windows. " Whoa, this place is amazing" I finally talked after a few minutes. " Yeah Esme did the whole thing " He spoke with a smile on his face and a adorable look in his eyes. He must of saw my confusion on my face because he continued to explain. " Esme is our adopted mother along with Carlisle as our adoptive father " " oh that makes since " I nodded along with him with a smile as he looked in my eyes. He continued to pull me along to the living room where sat his whole familywaiting for us. " Ash this is my family, our parents Esme, Carlisle, and my siblings Edward and his girlfriend Bella, ( they gave a little wave)  Emmett and his girlfriend Rosalie ( i got a glare and a bear hug) and last but not least Alice and her boyfriend James ( hug and wave) " he intruded them one by one and pointed. " hey I'm Ash " I replayed with a bright smile but still a little shy. " welcome Ash" Esma welcomed me with a slight hug. I made not of all of them are really cold but Bella is not. " is Ash you're really name or is it a shorten of your real name" I heard Carlisle ask with slight intrastate in his voice. I was about to answer but Rosalie beat me to it. " Who cares " I could the annoyance in her voice. I saw Carlisle give a disapproving glance and jasper chest gave a rumble again. "first i'm sorry but do we have a problem because i don't know you, and yes Mr. Cullen it's shorten for something but i rather much not tell so please call me Ash " I replayed as nicely as I could trying not to  start something I knew I couldn't finish. " what Ashamed of your given name, is it ugly?" she stepped forward a bit cause me to fly behind Jasper and him crouching in front of me giving a hissing sound. Rosalie's eyes went wide and she quickly stepped behind Emmett his name was. I was really confused but something made me reach out and put my hand on his back. " Hey, i'm alright, nothing wrong " I whispered slightly as I started moving my hand in small movements. He gave another warning growl he stood up turning around patting me down with his hands looking me over for some threat or injures. I put my hand on his cheek and watched him lean into it. His hand slightly brushed over my shoulders  a flashback came about were Red eyes grabbed me, that cause me to flinch a bit but that must of set something off in jasper because I saw his eyes turn almost all black and next thing I knew I was in a corner of the room with jasper crouching in front of me hissing and growling at his family. I was slightly confused and slightly fearful of what was happening. I knew the Cullen's weren't normal but what the heck are they? we're they going to hurt me like red eyes? " Jasper son, please calm down " I heard Carlisle soft voice break the silence and made a daring move to us. Jasper growls got louder and more anger was placed into it. I got a little more afraid but something in me knew that he was not going to hurt me but simply was protecting me.  I saw something like this on an animal channel a male lion was protecting its female from another male and it was something very similar to this. " Ash you're on the right track, you're the only thing that can calm him down right now" I heard Edward say over Jasper's angry growls. ( I had been right about the animal thing? wait how can he hear my thoughts right now ) " There is no time to explain just please, we'll explain later okay " Edward said again as all of their family got down on their knees and necks barred. ( hey that looks like the submissive stance ) I thought to myself again but in the corner of my eye I saw Edward nod again. I looked at jasper back  and started thinking of ways to calm him down. As I got nothing so I just went to last resort I hugged his back. " Hey i'm here, i'm fine, nothing has hurt me, you're protecting me but it's all right honey, everything's okay, everything's fine I swear " I kept whispering things like that into his ear in tell I started to feel him relax a little. I stood up from his stance and turned hugging me tightly to his chest as he breathed in my scent again. I stood there hugging him back waiting for him to calm down all the way. After a while he pulled back and he kissed my forehead while smiling. " okay please tell what that was " I said loudly enough for all of them to hear. I just wanted answers so I wasn't in the dark. " As you wish my darling " I heard him say. In a split second we were all on this couch me on Jasper's lap and his arms around my waist and his head in my neck, breathing like he was calming himself down.  He held me like he was almost afraid to let me go. I gave him a little glare " I said warning next time " I mumbled as he just laughed vibrating my back little.  Carlisle and Esma in front of us and everyone was sitting next to us. " so where do we start " Esme broke the silence. " please from the beginning of everything " I replied ready for a story as I got comfortable on Jasper's lap. " well okay we're vampires "
