A light appeared in a dark, mellow room and it showed a teenager with black hair and brown eyes, sitting at a gray table. No one else was shown, it was only the girl. However, she knew she wasn't alone. As if she was talking to someone, she stared across the table and asked,

"What's my assignment this time?" A tan folder jumped out of the dark and onto the table, having a crimson red symbol shaped into what looked like a dragon. The girl took the folder and discovered that it was pretty light. She opened the folder, and there was nothing in it. "It's empty," she said, stating the obvious.

"Exactly," a deep voice in the darkness said. "We have no information whatsoever. All that we know is that the symbol indicates an ancient beast named the Crimson Dragon." The girl gasped before the voice continued, her eyes sparkling in excitement.

"An ancient dragon?!" the girl exclaimed happily. "That's so cool!" The voice cleared its throat loudly and the girl stopped her excitement. The folder issue was serious. The girl also cleared her throat to regain composure and asked, "So what would you like for me to do?"

"What we need you to do is investigate this Crimson Dragon and see if it poses any potential threats to Yuina," the voice answered. "If it does, do what you can to eliminate it."

"And if it isn't a threat?" the girl added curiously.

"Then you are to return to Yuina immediately with the report of the dragon and anyone else that was involved. Is that understood?"

"Yes, sir."

"Very good then. I expect that this will be a quick assignment for you, and I look forward to your return." The girl nodded and stood up to leave, cracking her knuckles at the same time. "Oh, and one more thing," the mysterious voice said before the girl left, "you can't exactly reveal yourself in the city which you are going. So, I need you to disguise yourself to fit in with the people, which means you must repress your special abilities. There doesn't need to be any trouble."

"With all due respect sir," the girl began, "if something does go in disarray, I will not hesitate to use what you call my special abilities."

"I know you would, but keep that at the minimum. Is that clear?"

"...Fine then." The girl took off from the room, determined to do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Okay, it's time for this story to come out! I've been excited to start posting this story for a while and now I finally can since I have written a few chapters already! Now what I will say now is that this story only updates on SUNDAY. The reason why I do this is because I'm a busy and lazy person and as soon as school starts, I will actually be busy!!

But just this once, I will update two chapters today because the prologue is really short.
