Book One

A girl named Dover was in her house. She was napping when someone tapped her on the shoulder. Dover woke up immediately. She sat up and mumbled,"Who disturbs when I am napping?" she looked up and saw it was Hideser, her mom. "Hi mom. What are you doing here, disturbing my nap?"

Hideser smiled and said,"Here you go, my darling! I came here to give you a present." she grabbed a box that was made out of real gold and dolphins were carved into it. Hideser slowly opened it, and Dover gasped.

"Oh my gosh!" it was a beautiful dolphin necklace! It shone like the bright sky when the sun shone on it. It was so beautiful. Dover smiled and picked up the necklace. It felt light when it was day. Hideser explained it was made out of pure light gold. It even had a jewel on it! Dover examined it. It was the jewel that was called "Emerald". She picked it up and put it around her neck. Just feeling it gave her courage, strength, and the power of a dolphin. She said thanks to her mom and went back to nap.

When she was about to fall asleep, a tingly sound was sounded in Dover's head. Then a voice shouted in her brain, "Help! The ocean is in danger!"

Dover woke up, surprised. Who said that !?! She realized that it was the dolphin necklace who said that! She thought, How can you hear me? Am I dreaming? She saw her necklace was glowing with magic.

"You can, it is magical. But, we need your help," The voice exclaimed. "We are dolphins. You are the only magical human to turn into a dolphin!"

Dover was so surprised and thought, Okay, what is your name? She wondered what the dolphin's name. Is your name Steih? Akhiyanu?

"Ummmmm, My name is Delphine the Oracle......" her voice trailed off. Then she snapped up attention. "Okay! The problem is...... Evil Sharks are beginning a war, a war between the dolphins and the evil sharks!" the voice huffed angrily. It told Dover to go to the nearest beach and say Magic Charm, Magic Charm, Please Turn Me Into A Dolphin!Then Dive in. you will see that you can breath, like a dolphin. Good luck saving us!"

Quickly, Dover asked her mom and dad to have a long walk on the beach.

"Umm, sorry honey, it is too late, and it is the time when the sharks are out! Honey,would you dare to go out for a very long walk!?!"Hideser protested.

Even Dover's dad, Jimmy, agreed with Hideser. "Yeah,Hideser is correct! It is so dangerous outside!" he explained.

"But I need to! My friends are waiting for me out there!"Dover yelled. She hoped she did not hurt her feelings.

But, her mom and dad sighed."Fine!You go! By yourself!" they declared.

Dover nodded and put her t-shirt and shorts on. She ran to the beach as fast as she can. Luckily, the beach was just 1 block away! She looked around. There were people in the shade, teeth chattering. Dover frowned. These people should be in the sea playing or sunbathing, but it ended up like this. Dover decided to ask people on the beach.

The first person she asked was terrified. He trembled, There is a huge shark that scared us out of the water! It even had red eyes!"

"Thank you. I will go and solve the problem." she said. Then, she chanted the secret chant:Magic Charm, Magic Charm, Please Turn Me Into A Dolphin! Then, she dived into the sea as neatly as she could do it. She turned into a dolphin magically! Dover thought, where are you, Delphine?

An answer came back. It was Delphine's voice. I can feel you come close. Come closer! The voice said.

Dover nodded and swam deeper into the sea. In the distance, she saw a small shadow. More frightened dolphins were behind the shadow. The pink shadow was...... Delphine! "Help! Dover,help us!" the dolphins behind Delphine screamed.

"What's wrong?" Dover asked, swimming closer.

But then, she saw there was a HUGE shadow circling them. It was shaped like a shark. It was scary! Dover thought that she saw it had glowing red eyes! She thought she heard it laugh, "Har har har, I will eat you dolphins up for my feast! Har har har!"

"I am here! I will protect you!" Dover cried, swimming in front of the frightened dolphins.

"Oh, you dare challenge me? Oh, and if you lose, I will eat you all! Slurp! Slurp!"The Shark cried, licking his lips and closing his eyes.

"Quick, say Dolphin brute force!" Delphine urged Dover, shuddering with the other two dolphins did it too.

So Dover had no choice but to say it."Dolphin brute force!!!!" suddenly, a bright light shot out of her flippers and struck the shark!

"ARRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHH!" the shark screamed in pain. "GRRRRRRRRR......" the shark roared. "I WILL KILL YOU! ROAR!"

Delphine shouted at Dover, "hurry, say Dolphin ram!"

Dover shouted, "Dolphin ram!" Suddenly she swam by magic at super speed and rammed into the shark.

"Dover, you saved us!" Delphine said happily.

"But I have to go back. Sorry!" Dover grumbled.

"Okay! Say Magic Charm, Magic Charm, Please Turn Me Back To A Human! Then leap out of the water. You may stumble and fall, but there is always sand!" Delphine reassured her.

"Thank you! And see you soon!" Dover called. She swam to the beach. She shouted, "Magic Charm, Magic Charm, Please Turn Me Back To A Human!"she leapt out of the water and stumbled but she landed on sand. She noticed her clothes were dry. "Wow, magic!" she whispered. She ran back home.

She burst through the door and shouted, "I'm home!" no answer."Huh?"she heard her phone ringing. She opened her phone to see who it was. It was Mom And Dad. she answered it. This is what she heard:"You. If you want your parents back, come and find me in the ocean. We will have a battle. If you win, you will have your parents back. If i win, then you and your parents will become my dinner. Oh, and I am the shark." Dover gulped and growled, "I am coming!" she ran out the door again.
