Ells' POV
"Wait!" I screamed, and she held the phone in her hand, waiting to press the call button.

The whole room went silent, except for the ringer on the telephone. You could hear a single pin drop fall to the floor.

"You know what I realized? Most of the people in this town seem to do the same exact things, every single day. None of them seem to know basic technology. But, you have a cell phone. That works. Where are the power lines? And, if your using a wireless connection, how is it possible? When my friend, Simon, who can find signal, couldn't find any at all? Well, it's all because of one thing. And do you want to know what that is?" I said, giving this creepy counter girl the look.

"Umm... I'm calling the doctor." She said, looking scared half to death. But I didn't care I knew what she was planning.

"This is a trap. This whole thing is a trap! A trap you created to capture us!" I said, as something in my gut began to burn.

I could hear my friends, but, they seemed so far from where I was. I was no longer in control of my body, or my actions. The thing in my gut began to burn more intensely, as I continue to lash out everything at her.

But then, Dimitry and Hunter grabbed my shoulders, pulling me away from her, and I calmed down almost instantly.

What have I just done? Why did I do it? What did I do? What was that burning energy deep in my chest? All of those thought went through my mind, as the energy in my chest stopped.

Hunter and Dimitry looked at me, then eachother, as they let go of me.

The lady at the desk slowly put her phone back to where it was. Her face just had a look of pure terror on it.

There was a loud slam behind us as I turned around to see the door now shut.

I turned around to see the lady smiling happily. She began to laugh maniacally. "Good bye, brats!" She screamed, her voice now a deep demonic terror, as she pressed the bright red button in her hands.

A loud ringing blasted through my eardrums, as I landed on the floor, my vision white, my head pounding.

But, then, somehow, time stopped. I just, knew. I could feel it.

Everything was still bright white, so I shut my eyes to avoid the pain. Tears began to form in my eyes.

That when I heard footsteps. In the white light, the lady was walking towards me. Everything hurt, and I couldn't move my body.

But, now that she was closer towards me, she didn't look that much like the lady anymore. Her skin was bright red. Her hair was sleek black. Black devil wings on her back, and bright sharp teeth.

She picked me up by my neck, lifting me off the ground.

Then, a piercing pain went through my neck. She dropped me on the ground, as I tried to get up.

She smiled demonically, as my vision went black.
