Chapter 11: Lunar and Chaos Magic
Ells' POV
"That poor little Fire Sprite..." Dimitry said, sadly.
"It was for a good cause, Dimitry..." Hunter said, putting his hand on Dimitry's shoulder.
"Guys! We don't have time for this!" Violet said, tapping her foot impatiently, "We're still trapped in here!"
Then, an idea popped into my head. A risky idea, but something better than killing Fire Sprites right on the spot.
"You guys are good at certain types of magic. So, why don't you work together and try to make a Lunar Sphere?"
"Lunar aganist Chaos. That's perfect!" Astrid said, as everyone else smiled.
"I'll move the vines while you guys focus on the Lunar Magic." I said.
"Alright, let's do this..." Violet semi-whispered.
"1."
"2."
"3!" The four of them said, as they threw their hands up. Dimitry was holding a swirling ball of leaves. Earth. Astrid of Fire, Violet of Air, and Hunter of Water. The main 4 elements of magic.
Combining them can create the 5th element, Lunar Magic. Or, it could create Chaos Magic, the 6th element of magic.
They brought their swirling balls of magic closer together, and a purplish glow appeared.
Lunar Magic is one of the most hardest elements ever to master. There is only one Lunar Mage, and that is President Pitchi Kuro. That's it. So, most people, like this, have to work together, completely focus, and be very slow. Most people don't risk it, though.
So, slowly, they walked towards the vines, holding the big ball of Lunar Magic in their hands.
"Now, Ells!" Violet screamed, as they threw the Lunar Sphere at the vines.
Quickly, I made contact with the Earth, and moved the vines. A bright light shone, and the four of them passed out on the floor.
Lunar Magic takes a lot of energy off of someone. The less the people, the greater the impact.
Wait. Why am I not unconscious? I mean, I made contact with the vines! Like everyone else! Only a Lunar Mage could survive a hit like that!
I looked at the door, without the Chaos-enchanted vines now. There was a magic lock, with sparkles of red, green, blue, grey, and in the middle, purple.
I went and held it in my hands. The somewhat heavy lock seemed to feel so perfect in my hands. I can't exactly explain it... but it did.
Then, the world around me seemed to disappear, as I reappeared in the hallway. The lock, the door, was gone. I looked around to see the other teams. We were back in the hallway.
Team One looked soaked! More then soaked... They looked like they were attacked by water!
Team Two was covered in scratches and bruises. I felt pretty bad for them...
Team Three look like they just came out of the world end. Their hair was a mess! Their clothes had tears in it, and they looked sun burned.
And then, there was us. Completely fine. (At least, if we don't count the rest of my team being unconscious.)
"Well, this is different. What was your test?" Richelle asked me.
"Well... there was... um... Chaos-enchanted vines."
All of the kids gasped, and Mr. Coal's eyes grew wide.
