"Math, great..." I stride to my locker, first period is in 3 minutes. As I walk to my locker I notice someone familiar rifling through their backpack while facing their locker. My blue locker, which I had already previously bedazzled in stickers and glitter, is to the right of theirs and as I get closer, I realize who's locker was right next to mine...Reagan Wilson.
"Watcha looking for Reagan?" I inquire hesitantly, this was Brooklyn's dream guy, well, 1 of them. More on that later. I can't screw this up for her  if I'm going to see this guy every day for the whole school year.
"Oh, I lost my next period teacher's pencil. I lost mine this morning and had to borrow a teacher's pencil to sign up for the football team. I promised to return it, but I can't find it." Reagan says, more panicked than a person who just lost a pencil of all things should be.
"I'm sure he won't mind, he's a teacher, he's probably got like a hundred."
"I know, but I prefer to give things back after I borrow them, it's just my thing, and I feel really crappy if I don't live up to my own standards." Reagan says still rifling through his bag, and the bell was probably going to ring any minute now.
"Just take mine, it's brand new, so he'll probably appreciate it even more." I hand the pencil to him, just relieved to see him not panicking over a freaking pencil.
"Thank you so much!" And with that, he closes his locker, zips up his backpack and runs into a classroom. Wait, is that Mr. Slovan's class?! Yes! Brook has a class alone with Reagan... This could either be the best thing to happen to her or the worst, but so far, Reagan seems pretty cool from what I observed from that pointless panic... a pencil, is this guy Canadien or is he just that nice?
