(This chapter will have a bit of gore, and very bad written short fighting scenes since I never did one before and never read one-)

I've been living in the cursed forest for a couple of months now but lately I've been seeing.. photo's of myself hanged on the trees, saying "WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE". I could tell by then that Lord Nightmare was after me. Of course I always hid in a secret underground cabin I made. I was at the moment searching for food since I ran out yesterday. As I kept looking I heard multiple footsteps then yelling, "FIND THAT TRAITOR OR KING NIGHTMARE WILL HAVE US DEAD IF WE DON'T FIND HER THIS TIME, GOT IT!?" I recognized the voice... It was Cross. His tone was cold and raspy.. Poor guy. But no need to worry for him, time to run.

I grabbed my bow and arrow and started running, hearing the soldiers after me. I turned around, running backwards, aiming the arrow at one of them and releasing the string, hitting one of them right where it hurts. I turned back around and started running faster. I trip over a log and get surrounded by 4 soldiers, one of the holding me down on the ground. I grabbed their leg with my free hand and threw them off me, imidietly drawing out my sword swinging it at the other 3 soldiers, slicing through their waists. I kept the other one down by stepping on their spine before stabbing their head, the sharp and heavy sword slicing through their skull. I turned around to see the rest of the soldiers retreating, leaving their Captian in terror.

"Brother~ You do still know I'm your old Captian AND sister. You can NEVER stop me! NOW FIGHT ME LIKE THE STRONG MAN YOU ARE!" I growled the last two parts. Cross stood there. He gulped before slowly drawing out his large red glowing knife, holding it with both hands. "Now, let's see if you've changed up your fighting skills" I charged at him. Our swords hit eachother as Cross used his knife as a sheild to block my attack. I slide my sword down against his, trying to see if I can at least make him lose his ballance by hitting his legs first. But of course, Cross knew this old trick of mine and jumped but that gave me the opportunity to slash upward. He was able to dodge by teleporting but I knew I got him since there was blood on the floor from where he just was. I turned around, our weapons hitting eachother once again. I twisted his sword out of his hands, flinging it away from him before aiming the sword at Cross. "You used the same moves when we were little Captian. You really think I'd forget those happy days? Burried under ground where no one can find it.." I paused. What is he trying to do? IS HE SPARING ME!?

He raised his arms up in a surrender position. I lowered my sword, confused. "What the hell?.." I questioned, not understand the plot here. "I prefer to be dead than capture my own sister" Cross said and smiled softly, tears forming in his eyes. I slowly dropped my weapon. Standing there in silence before tackling Cross into a big hug, both of us crying. Then I heard someone say "Doggie pile!!" And then a sudden huge weight on my back.

"Get off me you fat *sses!" Cross screeched, joking but still obviously wanted us off. "OoOohH i'M sOoOo ScArEd" I heard a sarcastic male say on top of me. "Killer? You finally got permission to leave the castle?" I asked to the sarcastic skeleton. I heard him laugh and say "Honestly this was soppost to be s trap to catch you but now that I think about it, I agree with Cross". "Wait- but didn't Cross say?.." silence filled the atmosphere. "Huh... don't worry! He always does that remember? Just when ever you became the Captian we were a bit more successful so he never said those things" Killer explained. "Ah, I see.. such a jokester, huh?" I laughed. "so, what do we do now" Killer asked. "First thing first, GET OFF-" Cross screeched, trying to push of us off. We all got up, brushing off the dust. "Where's the others?" "Back at the castle busy" "Ah, ok"

We didn't know what to say and stared at eachother before Cross spoke, "So, where have you been?". "Oh? Secret cabin" I answered. "Really!? Where?" Killer asked, excited and curious. I stomped my foot on the ground, opening a secret tunnel under us, falling inside it. We landed on a wooden plank, the tunnel closing over us. "Ok this is a very dark cabi-" I cut Killer off by opening the curtains. "Ok very bright!" Killer said. "Welcome to my cabin boys!" I giggled. "Can we stay here for tonight?" The two skeletons asked. I nodded and quickly went to make a bed for them.

It was quite late and we were playing a game of hide and seek. "How about we go to bed and continue the game tomorrow morning?" I suggested, getting up front the wooden floor. The two nodded and went to bed. I went to my room and face palmed onto the bed, falling asleep instantly.

I woke up to a weird knocking on the ceiling. I looked around and saw that Cross and Killer were missing.. It could be them-

"Ding dong. I know you can hear me. Open up the door! I wanna play a little.."

I froze, realized who the mysterious voice on top of the ceiling..

"Ding dong, you can't keep me waiting. It's alright to late for you to try and run away!"

I start panicking, not knowing what to do since I never imagined this happening.

"I see you trough the window.."

I turned around towards the window, fear and terror filled my soul.

"Our eyes are locked together.. I can sense your horror.. though I'd like to see it closer!"

Nightmare shattered the window with his tentacle. I instantly grabbed my sword and ran off.

"Ding dong here I come to find you. Hurry up and run! Let's play a little game and have fun!"

I ran off and hid in a secret room behind a book case.

"Ding dong. Where is it you've gone to?"

I kept as quiet as possible, not wanting to bring him here

"Do you think you've won? Our game of hide and seek has just begun!"

I didn't hesitate and went through another secret tunnel to a different room since I heard him trying to move the book case

"I hear your footsteps.. thumping loudly through the hallways"

I kept running, trying to catch my breath

"I can hear your sharp breaths. You're not very good at hiding"

I started to run faster

"Just wait, you can't hide from me!"

I then heard a voice on top of the ceiling. It kept saying,

"I'm coming!"

But Nightmare kept repeating,

"Just wait, you can't hide from me!.."

"I'm coming!.."

The other voice repeated as well. The two kept doing it..

"Just wait, you can't hide from me..."

"I'm coming!!...."

"Just wait, you can't hide from me....."

Went back to my room since Nightmare wouldn't think of me hiding somewhere I already hid-

"Knock knock, I am at your door now. I am coming in, no need for me to ask permission.."

I panicked, quickly hiding. I then heard a creack

"Knock knock. I'm inside your room now. Where is it you've hid? Our game of hide and seek's about to end!"

I kept quiet...

"I'm coming closer.."

"Looking underneath your bed but
You're not there, I wonder.."

"Could you be inside the closet?"

I out my hands over my mouth, hoping he'll just walk away. The wardrobe doors then swang open, making me flinch.

"Ding dong. I have found you!"

I stood there, frozen in place

"Ding dong. You were hiding here.. Now you're it!"

I ran past him but got caught in his tentacle, not able to move

"Ding dong, finally found you, dear. Now you're it!"

I started to cry, not wanting to be killed

"Ding dong, looks like I have won.. Now you're it!"

"Ding dong, pay the consequence.."

I could feel him tower over me, about to murder me

"Ding dong-"

"Looks like I have won. Now you're it! Ding dong, pay the consequence!" The same mysterious voice said from behind Nightmare. Then an arrow being shot at Nightmare, making him hiss in pain. Wait.. the only thing that can harm Nightmare would be.. Nightmare hissed again in pain, probably another arrow hitting him.

I could feel the tentacle that held me right loosen up then disappear into a pile of goop on the floor, which meant Nightmare left and went to somewhere else. I quickly turned around to see who my saviour was and as I guessed...

"D-dream?.."
