There was a moment when I threw everything away. When I freed Sig and run off. I was a coward... I got scared to be left behind so I was the one who left them. Stupid huh?

So now, I won't get scared and run away just to escape. I'll run forward.

"Don't. Move." I grab his hand that's covering my mouth. His eyes were not looking at me. They were eyeing Sig who's sleeping next to me. The Forest Guardian looks like he's in pain.

"This... is all your fault." I just blinked and we disappeared and teleported. The next thing I know I was screaming and falling.

"Ahhhhhh!!!" And dive head first into a deep lake. When I surface someone grab my hair and pulled me to land.

"Ow! Fuck let go off me!" The forest guardian was not even wet. Tsk! He grab my arm tight and pulled me up. Dragging me deep within the woods.

"Hey! Hey let me go! Hey!!!"

"Shut up!" He growled at my face. Tsk. He just kept on dragging me.

"What's that?" Then I notice something on his robe. That's the pendant he was wearing. A symbol of the sun.

"None of your business, human."

"It's not a magical pendant right? I think I saw one in a jewerly shop down town, it cost like 2 bucks and-- Ow!!"

"He throwed me down and left me there. Walking towards a huge three.

"The fuck is your problem?!" I stood up, wiping my wet and sore butt.

"He." He? The forest guardian grab the pendant and eyed it. It seems like he was reminsing past memories.

"He. He gave me this."

"Si-- Ouch let me go!" He grabbed my neck and lift me up, a foot off the floor. I gasp and struggled, grabbing his hand on my neck. I can't breathe!

"Don't call him with that name!"

"Le-let me go! Now!" My voice was thick and it came out like a force to him. The Forest Guardian let me go and I fell on the floor coughing. He seemed shock. Eyeing his hand that strangled me.

"No..." He clench his hand and screamed. "NO!!!" He went in the trunk of the huge tree and disappeared.

"Ouch..." I touched my neck... was it bleeding? It's not but it feels bruised.

"Tsk!" I stood up and eyed the tree where he disappeared. What was that? Why did I let out a command that made him obey me?

I look around and then approach the tree. Can I enter? I breathe in and closed my eyes.

"Here goes.. Oww!!" I just hit my head on the trunk. Guess I can't. I sat on the root and lean on the trunk. Should I just go back? How then? Right... I was about to chant a teleportation spell but stop when I heard a cry. A loud cry.

"Hey! Hey Forest Guardian! Hey let me in!" I hit my hands on the trunk. I yelled, I kick and do everything even a spell but I can't enter.

I sighed and lean against the tree.

Was it because Sig was his previous Master that I can command him? Or was it something else?

The wind pick up and I shivered. It was cold and I was drench from head to toe. Even my underwear is wet! How long was I here? Is Sig worried? He'd find me by now if he is awake.

"It's the middle of the night but it's so bright out here. Hey Forest Guy. Mind if I come in? It is bright but it's cold." I hugged my body and curled up into a ball. Ugh.. I miss Sig's warmth.

"It's gone quiet in there." I should just go. I stood and look up the sky. I chanted some flying spell and flew up but it feels like the sky was too far to reach. I kept flying and flying but the trees were still in view.

"The hell?" I landed on the tallest tree I see and look around the dense forest. I tried to flew up again but the trees were covering my view.

"You can't get away!" The forest guy!

"You say that but you won't even let me in! Dumb ass." I sighed and went down were his tree is. It's the only place were there is light. Everywhere else is in pure darkness. This is his castle?

"Hey... Are you okay?" I knock on his trunk and finally my hand pass through. I smirked and went in. It was dark and full of vines. When I pass the vines there he was.

"Okay... I think you're not alright at all." I approached his small form on the pile of dried leaves. He hissed at me and his body curled into a ball. His tail covering his face.

"So you're a small fox?" I reach out and he almost bit me!

"Hey! I'm trying to help here!" He looked so small, like a kitten. Though his ears were big and tail is fluffy like Sig's. He also have a weird diamond mark on his forehead. It was purple like his hair.

"Hey... come here." He was growling at me. Like how cats would when they feel threatened.

"Come here." I just kept my hand at reach. He stared at it and hissed then he covered his face again.

"Alright then." I grab him and he bit me! "Hey! Stop that! Stop!" I relaxed my hold on him and petted his head. When I touched his ears he suddenly went lax. He was still growling but he wasn't struggling or biting me. I played with his huge ear and he stop growling. He lean his head in my palm and he fell asleep.

"You are one complicated guardian huh... I guess... hmm.. I guess I could name you... Lynx. Since you look so much like a cat." I grin and snickered as I pet him on my lap. Then the mark on his forehead glowed. He opened his golden eyes stared at me. He blinked and then curled into a ball in my lap.

"Alright Lynx. Let's rest." I saw a bed near us. So this is his home. The bed was made of hay like grass but it was soft. I carried him and lied on the bed. He scootch next to me and fell back to sleep. I sighed and when I closed my eyes I drifted off as well.

I dreamt of when I was a kid. When I begged my mom and dad to buy me a pet. Or when I always look at the street to find an abandon dog or cat just to have a pet. But my Mom won't let me. Nor Dad won't care. I wondered how pets would take care of their owners. I remembered our old neighbor.. he has a dog and they were playing in the park where I usually stay out. It looked so fun but I guess even that I don't deserve. When Mom had his daughter Leila. She requested mom for a cat. Mom came home the next day with a small orange kitten in her arms. Leila was so happy. I remembered wanting to pet the cat but Leila would cry when I would. Mom would get mad at me. So I never get near the cat. When I was with Dad's. I saw David, his little boy with a husky. It was so adorable so I couldn't help but pet it. I ask David if we could play outside but when I did, Dad got mad at me. He said I made David miss soccer practice because we played with the dog. Thinking it was a disturbance Dad gave the Dog to the next door neighbor.

"Lucas.." I felt strands of hair tickling my cheek. I look up and saw him in his human form.

"Lynx.." His eyes widened then he held the pendant around his neck.

"Did Sig gave that to you?" I asked and tried to sit up but I was too dizzy.

"Whoa.." My head hurts. "Weren't you mad that I gave you a Name? Names are powerful for guardians right?"

"Yes they are. Names can bind us... to the one who summoned us."

"Did I? I thought Sig was your Master?" I smirked and he felt my forehead and frowned.

"Was. He did summon me before." He looked different.

"What's wrong? Killing me is not amusing anymore?" I chuckled. He really does not look amuse.

"Lucas. Don't you understand? It was you. You summoned me." I got that feeling that I did. I knew that even without him telling me.

"Sig will be so mad." I laughed but Lynx wasn't happy at all. Guess this guardian is more serious that Sig is.

"He is. I'll take you back. You're running a fever." He felt my forehead again.

"How about you?"

"I can't stay. I'll just return you to Him."

"You can't go, Lynx."

"He will kill me if I stay. I almost..." he looked like he was in pain.

"I hurt you because I didn't understand anything. Why I'm here.. Who you are. I thought the Mountain Guardian is responsible for my summon but I was wrong. It was you Lucas. You."

"I was fine. I am fine. Lynx they'll understand. Stay. Besides you're so small they won't even notice. C'mon!" I stood but I was not steady on my feet. Lynx quickly grab my arms and held me up.

"Alright. Hold onto me." I smiled and fixed his hair. It was covering his face.

"Could you tie your hair? It's too long." I laughed when he blushed but then he glared at me. He really is more serious than Sig.

"Hold on." Yaicks. He's mad. I just shut up and grin at him.

"Lynx you're grumpy." He lift an eyebrow at me and then we're gone. We teleported back in my room.

"Sig..." I called. Was Lynx carrying me?

"Lucas! You..." It was Sig.

"Stop Sig! Don't hurt Lynx!" Sig was already charging so I got off Lynx and step infront of him.

"Get away from there Lucas! I'll kill him! He kidnapped you!" I have no time for this.

"Sig calm down. Now!" He breathed out and clench his fists. "Lynx won't hurt me. Not anymore."

"You named him. You. Lucas. You summoned him?" I walk towards Sig and saw his eyes dilated. He was still so mad. He was itching for a kill. If I even move away from him he'll go for attack.

"Calm down. Please. I'm back am I? Here." I grab his clench fists. He squeeze his eyes shut and let out a deep breath. When he open his eyes they were back to normal.

"Lucas." He pulled me in his arms and breathe in my scent.

"Don't hurt Lynx. Promise me."

"I can't promise that!"

"Sig. Don't ever hurt Lynx." I grab his shirt and pulled him down. Our lips press together just slightly because I think I passed out.

"Lucas!"
