Chapter 23: Second Semester, Start!

"Tsuna-Sensei! Here, give us those books! We can help!"

"Ah--eh, alright...."

Tsuna chuckled as he placed the books in Hiroto's awaiting hands; the brunet sighed as he leaned further on his crutch.

Megu grabbed the cooking supplies along with Hinata.

Tsuna smiled sheepishly at them.

"Mataku.....thanks for the help you three."

Hiroto grinned as he walked beside Tsuna, inadvertently steadying the brunet's crutch-less side.

"No prob, Tsuna-Sensei!"

The two walked towards the the main classroom and placed the supplies in their rightful place.

They then heard a commotion; Koro-Sensei rushed in with a flyer, placing it into Tsuna's hand before rushing away once more.

Tsuna poked his head out of the room--along with the students that were with him--before looking down at the flyer, raising a curious eyebrow.

"A Summer Festival?"

~~
<<(Italy)>>

Lovro gazed down the empty streets, eye twitching slightly as he heard Koro-Sensei's loud voice trying to persuade him to come to the festival.

"....A festival, is it? I'm grateful for an invitation from the target, but unfortunately, I'm outside of Japan due to another job at the moment."

"NUYAH!?"

Koro-Sensei sobbed loudly.

"I-I'll go pick you up then! K-Karasuma-Sensei also said something about a meeting, so no one's coming! Nyaaaaaaah!"

Lovro chuckled slightly.

"Don't be absurd. I'm in the middle of a job."

"Nyuu.......I suppose there's no way around it. Please feel free to come and kill me during the second semester...."

The hitman dealer smirked.

"That goes without saying."

Lovro shut his phone and started to stalk down the streets, smiling with slight pride.

'From what Karasuma told me...that boy--Nagisa-kun, I believe--it seems he was able to execute the hidden technique I taught him in actual combat without a hitch....'

He sighed softly.

'I guess you can find it anywhere. In any country you go, there's talent....'

Lovro looked at the ground and smiled slightly.

'It's a bit disappointing to leave him in Japan though--'

Tap....tap....tap....

Lovro froze.

Munch, munch.....

His eyes widened as he looked at the man that suddenly appeared before him.

A black trench coat shifted as the man continued to eat the little snack in his hand.

...The newcomer smiled.

Lovro instantly backed up.

'Where did he come from!? To get this close to me without noticing his presence--! No...this bloodlust!'

With his free hand, the newcomer lifted it and formed it into a gun, index finger directed at Lovro.

"F r o m t h e d a y y o u a r e b o r n. . . .I a m a t y o u r s i d e , a l w a y s..."

BANG!

Blood gushed out of Lovro's chest, and he collapsed in a heap as the mysterious man walked away; the newcomer continued to smile.

"D o n o t p l a c e f e a r , i n t h e n a m e , ' G o d o f D e a t h '."

The killer chuckled as he stalked out of the seen, leaving Lovro there.

Although...once he was gone...

....A ravenet stalked into the scene.

His sharp onyx eyes flitted around before landing on Lovro's unmoving body.

"Hm?"

He glanced around the area once more before looking back at Lovro; a green lizard crawled up his arm and onto his shoulder.

The ravenet walked over to Lovro and nudged the body with his foot.

"Oi, è vivo o morto?" (Oi, you dead or alive?)

Lovro groaned in response, and the newcomer sighed.

"Mi prendo come un 'sì'." (I'll take that as a 'yes'.)

The ravenet turned to look at the lizard on his shoulder.

"Leon, morph into a stretcher for this guy."

The chameleon, Leon, did as he was told and glowed slightly as he morphed into a stretcher with wheels to provide mobility.

The ravenet crouched down and hefted Lovro up.

"Whoopsie-daisy....."

Lovro grunted as he was placed onto the stretcher with his back on it.

The ravenet sighed as he ran a hand through his hair.

"I've been through enough sh** for the past few days, Leon, so let's just find a hotel and sleep."

Leon merely blinked his eyes as he remained in his stretcher form; the ravenet started to push it.

"....Dame-Tsuna better be alright."

His gaze narrowed.

"It's apparent that Iemitsu more of a b*****d in this world than the original one."

~~
<<(Japan)>>

Koro-Sensei grinned widely as his students followed him through the many stall lining up on the sides.

Kyoya, wearing a black kimono, walked near the back of the group, along with Mukuro and Chrome, who were wearing similar, indigo kimonos.

As usual, Hayato and Takeshi, wearing red and blue kimonos, were on Tsuna's right and left respectively.

Ryohei and Lambo were actually elsewhere, looking through the games and food.

The brunet, wearing a warm-orange kimono, was currently holding a few stuffed animals with one arm, a sheepish smile present on his face.

"Maa...I got a bit carried away in the shooting booth along with Ryuunosuke-kun and Rinka-chan....."

The two said students looked at the ground glumly.

"...We were banned from the shooting both."

Tsuna chuckled as he placed a chibi, black, German Shepherd toy onto Ryuunosuke head, balancing it carefully. He then placed an orange kitten toy onto Rinka's head.

"Maa, that man was being stingy. You guys can keep these by the way."

The two top marksmen in the class blushed slightly as they took the toys from their heads and added it to their own prizes.

"Arigatou, Tsuna-Sensei."

Tsuna simply smiled as he watched them go off to other games.

Yuuma was catching all of the fish, apparently using it for food.....

Karma was stopping a man from conning people with a devilish grin on his face.

Nagisa and Kaede were yanking out yo-yo waterballs.

And Irina was hanging out at a sake booth.

Tsuna smiled before drifting his eyes to the other stalls.

....Koro-Sensei was apparently taking over five or six of them.....

The brunet sighed before walking up to one of them; Koro-Sensei grinned widely when he spotted him.

"Tsuna-kun~! It's good to see you~! Would you like anything?"

The Decimo chuckled.

"I suppose I'll have some Takoyaki."

Hayato huffed.

"A hot dog, please..."

Takeshi grinned.

"I'll take some Takoyaki too!"

Mukuro hummed.

"Nothing for me......but my dear Chrome would like two sticks of some sweet dango, please."

Kyoya said nothing.

Tsuna smiled sheepishly.

"Ah. He won't have anything."

Koro-Sensei grinned brightly.

"Hai~! Coming right up!"

~~

Fweeeee~BOOOM!

Tsuna smiled fondly at the fireworks that flashed above; he rested his crutch onto his shoulder as he sat on the grass below along with his Guardians and some of the students.

"Heh......just like the old days....."

The brunet gazed at the fireworks as they exploded before fading out.

'.....Reborn just needs to be here...'

<<(A Nearby Building)>>

"The report from the summer vacation assassination served as a rather nice hint. The ideas of young ones are rather flexible."

Shiro looked at the papers in his hands before glancing at Itona, who was holding an entire truck up with his tentacles.

"It's about time to settle this, Itona--to bring out the whole of your potential."

Shiro crumpled the papers in his hand.

"That d*** sin-filled creature......we'll put an end to his life during the September month!"

<<(With Koro-Sensei)>>

The octopus hummed happily as he looked at the amount of money he gained.

"My, I earned quite a bit. Even if I deduct for essentials, I should have no problem buying snacks this September."

Koro-Sensei lifted his gaze and found one of his students in front of him; he grinned brightly.

"Were you able to enjoy yourself as well? We will begin studies again starting tomorrow. For today, you should spread your wings and--"

"........"

Koro-Sensei blinked with shock.

"Eh?"

Overhead, a firework exploded.

Koro-Sensei dropped his tentacles to his sides.

"You're leaving Class E?"

~~
//(The Next Day)//

Tsuna followed the students with his crutch to the gymnasium so the second semester could be officially started.

The brunet rolled his eyes slightly when he saw the group of five 'elites' sneer at Class E.

Everyone entered the gym and went into their respectful lines; Tsuna stood by the other teachers along with Karasuma and Irina.

Awards and announcements were made.

Just when the opening was thought to be closed, Teppei made one more announcement while grinning widely.

"...Now then...I have one last announcement. Class 3-A will be adding a new member to their ranks. Until yesterday, he was in Class E."

Tsuna inclined his head slightly, fedora covering one eye; Class E gaped.

'That's.....the one Koro-Sensei was crying to me about....'

"However, with his diligent efforts, he has received excellent grades, and has earned permission to return to the main school building."

Gakushuu smirked near the edge of the stage as he handed a paper to the ex-Class E student.

"Now...go tell them."

Teppei's smirk widened.

"Well then, let us hear his words of joy! Takebayashi Kotaro-kun!"

The said megane-teen stepped onto the stage as Class E looked at him with shock; Tsuna merely watched silently.

Kotaro gazed at the crowd before opening his mouth to speak.

"I...have spent over three months with Class E. Simply put, that environment was he**."

Class E started to sweat as he continued.

"My classmates had no drive. Even the teachers had given up on us. I realized the price to pay for slacking. I wanted to go back to the main school building. For that, I studied as if my life depended on it. I even changed my attitude towards my everyday life. From the bottom of my heart, I'm overjoyed that I'm able to return. I will work hard so I won't fall into Class E again."

Silence filled the gymnasium before he took a polite bow.

"That is all."

Lies, lies, lies, he's lying--

Tsuna shut out his Hyper Intuition as he watched Kotaro walk off the stage.

And then Gakushuu started clapping, causing the other students--except Class E--to clap.

"Welcome back, Takebayashi-kun."

Cheers filled the air.

"WELCOME BACK! GREAT JOB!"

"YOU'RE AWESOME TAKEBAYASHI!"

"I KNEW YOU WERE DIFFERENT!"

Tsuna tugged his fedora down.

Lies.

~~

Hiroto growled in frustration as he smacked his fist against the chalkboard.

Slam!

"What's with that guy!? He threw away a chance of ten billion yen to ditch us!?"

Masayoshi frowned.

"And he said this place was he**!"

Hinata also chipped in.

"Even if he was forced to say that, that's wrong."

Megu sighed softly.

"It is true that Takebayashi-kun's grades suddenly improved, but I believe that's only because he was taught by Koro-Sensei in Class E."

She narrowed her gaze.

"If he even forgot that much, then I can't look at him the same way."

Hiroto grit his teeth.

"Anyway, we can't sit still after he said all that! I'm gonna say something to him after school!"

On the side, Tsuna was staring outside of the window, leaning on his crutch.

~~
//(After School)//

"Takebayashi, see ya' tomorrow.!"

The said teen smiled and nodded at the other student that called out to him.

"Hai."

"Oi, Takebayashi!"

Kotaro halt and turned his head to see....Class E.

Yuuma gazed at the megane-teen evenly.

"Care to explain? Why didn't you discuss this with us, Takebayashi?"

Manami bit her lip before stepping forward.

"There's a reason for this, right? You helped out so much during our summer vacation trip! And didn't we all have fun together during the regular school year too!?"

Karma stepped forward next, easy-going smile still present on his face.

"The ten billion bounty...depending on how we're gonna kill him, they're going to raise it even more. I guess you don't need your share, Takebayashi. How selfless of you."

Kotaro pushed his glasses up.

".....One billion yen at best."

Class E blinked in confusion as he continued.

"I would never be able to get ten billion on my own. Even if I were able to successfully kill him in a group, the help I would provide....would be ten billion at best." He sighed softly. "My family has run a hospital for generations. A billion yen would be something my family could earn by working."

Kotaro gazed at the ground.

"It's a house with the motto, 'of course you could do it'.......being incapable, I'm not treated as part of the family."

He pushed his glasses up.

"Even if I got my hands on a billion yen, my family would never accept me. 'Good for you. The good-for-nothing of the family had his life saved by luck, haha'.......and that would be that."

Everyone cringed slightly at the bluntness of Kotaro's voice.

"I was able to report my grades to my parents for the first time yesterday--that I received the top class grades, and that I could leave Class E."

Kotaro let a bead of sweat roll down the side of his face as he smiled slightly with bitterness.

"'You worked hard. You were able to hang on by a thread'. Just to hear those words.....I had to suffer through so much studying."

Yukiko lowered her head and looked at the ground with understanding; Kotaro gripped his hands into fists as he looked at the ground.

"For me, even more so to the end of the world, or ten billion yen, it's much more important that I'm accepted by my family."

He sighed before turning on his heel, walking away from the,.

"I know that I'm a traitor, and that i'm being ungrateful. I pray that your assassination goes well."

Nagisa's brow furrowed as he tried to follow the teen.

"Hold on, Takeba--"

Yukiko reached out and grasped Nagisa's arm, holding his back; Nagisa looked back at her with surprise.

"Kanzaki-san...."

She gave a lopsided smile.

"Give it up, Nagisa-kun. Parents' chains....they bind you to an extremely painful place and don't let go. So...don't try to forcefully pull him away."

Class E could only watch as Kotaro walked away, head down as if he were insulted rather harshly.

On a nearby rooftop, Koro-Sensei was gazing at Kotaro, a thoughtful--and kinda sinister--look in his eyes.

Tsuna was leaning against the wall in a nearby alley; he heard what Kotaro was going through and sighed.

He grabbed his crutch and started to head back home.

~~
//(The Next Day, After School, Nighttime)//

"Kotaro-kun."

The said teen jumped, stowing the paper he had in his hand away as he looked up.

Suddenly, a hand obscured his vision.

"Guess who~?"

Kotaro sweatdropped.

"Ts-Tsuna-Sensei?"

The hand was removed and Kotaro found himself looking at warm, orange eyes; the brunet grinned.

"Hai! How are you, Kotaro-kun?"

The teen looked at the ground.

"...Good."

And then his glasses were missing; Kotaro blinked owlishly as everything blurred.

Squinting his eyes, he found that Tsuna was wearing them.

The brunet narrowed his gaze at Kotaro behind the glasses.

"No lying, Kotaro-kun. You know how I despise that."

The teen froze at the glowing orbs before slowly nodding; Tsuna smiled gently and placed Kotaro's glasses back in their rightful place.

Kotaro pushed his glasses up with one hand before wringing the hem of shirt with the other; he swallowed before looking up at Tsuna.

"To be honest....it's hard. The teachers give no regards to the students' thoughts, and it really wouldn't be teaching by the way they just write anything before erasing it immediately."

Tsuna inclined his head.

"Is that so? Hmm......neh, Kotaro-kun, did you know your classmates were looking out for you?"

Kotaro quirked his lips up and sweatdropped slightly.

"Hai....I saw them outside of the window...trying to hide themselves rather poorly, and Koro-Sensei was a lot more noticeable--he was entirely....black--like that last time he got a really bad sunburn."

Tsuna smiled when he heard the fondness in Kotaro's voice; the brunet sighed softly.

"Neh.....I'm gonna confess something to you."

Kotaro perked up and stared at Tsuna with slightly wide eyes; the brunet smiled before inclining his head slightly.

"Maa, but first, let's move little farther away from the school. How about we go to the nearby park, Kotaro-kun."

The teen slowly nodded and followed Tsuna, who walking a bit fast despite his crutch.

~~

"Ah~this is much~better."

Tsuna slowly lowered himself to the ground and placed his crutch beside him; he patted the grass beside him for Kotaro to sit.

The teen slowly lowered himself to the ground.

".....What did you want to tell me?"

Tsuna smiled and waved a hand in the air.

"Maa, it's nothing too important--I just wanted to be out of that school's sight."

The brunet then lied down, arms behind his head as he looked at the stars above.

".....You already know me as 'Dame-Tsuna'. Even when I was a teen, I was called 'Dame-Tsuna'."

(O.D.D.- Tsuna-san's going to talk about his own past--not in this parallel world. (_'))

Kotaro listened attentively as the brunet continued.

"I had no friends back then, and I was the last in the class."

Tsuna gave a sheepish grin.

"Back then, I never really knew my father--he was never home. When I was a teen, the last I saw him was when I was barely four."

His gaze grew nostalgic.

"I still had my mom. She's very kind and welcoming."

Tsuna then sighed, looking over at Kotaro.

"My family didn't ignore me, but they called me useless."

Kotaro looked at the brunet with wide eyes as he continued.

"My mom....wasn't very....sharp, so she would kind of say things before thinking--she would call me useless, not smart....and...yeah. My dad....he would coo over me, but he would also call me useless, weak, defenseless, and...actually there are quite a lot of negative stuff he said about me."

Tsuna inclined his head thoughtfully before looking back at Kotaro, who was looking a bit stunned; the brunet smiled wistfully.

"But then.....a spawn of the devil came crashing into my life."

Kotaro sweatdropped slightly.

'He's saying that while smiling.....'

Tsuna chuckled lightly as he reached up to grab the fedora on his head; he flipped in his hands as he sat up.

"......I thought he was another bully at first, so I ignored him--or tried to, haha."

The brunet rubbed his head, still smiling.

"I got kicked in the head so many times...."

Tsuna looked up at the night sky.

"Despite his constant bullying and....sadistic ways...I gained friends."

The brunet smiled warmly.

"Hayato-kun, Takeshi-kun, Ryohei-kun, Kyoya-kun, Lambo-kun, Mukuro-kun and Chrome-chan. I met many more after that, but....that's for another day."

Tsuna looked at the fedora in his hands; he ran his fingers over the top.

".....He was my....Il numero uno dei papà." (Number one dad.)

Kotaro couldn't understand the last part, but he widened his eyes when he saw Tsuna's eyes.

"Tsuna-Sensei..."

"Mm?"

"....You're crying."

The brunet blinked before scrubbing an arm over his eyes, ignoring the wet feeling on his sleeve.

Tsuna chuckled softly before placing his fedora back onto his head while grabbing his crutch.

"Heh.....maa, that's enough for tonight. Koro-Sensei still wants to talk to you," Kotaro blinked in surprise. "And he's dressed as a weird ninja, so don't call the police when you see him."

Kotaro couldn't help but sweatdrop and smile slightly at the the last comment as he stood up; the teen dusted his pants off before bowing towards the brunet.

"....Arigatou...for taking the time to talk with me, Tsuna-Sensei."

The Decimo smiled warmly and ruffled Kotaro's hair slightly.

"Maa...that's what family's for."

Kotaro jerked his head up at that and looked at Tsuna with wide eyes.

"Eh?"

Tsuna tipped his fedora up and grinned.

"Remember this, Kotaro-kun: family isn't alway by blood, but by the bonds you create with others. Plus...families have no reason to be strong if they're not using that strength to protect someone they love."

The brunet winked and waved behind himself as he started to walk away.

"But.....the choice is ultimately yours, Kotaro-kun. Oyasuminasai."

Kotaro stood there, stunned, as he watched Tsuna disappear into the night.

The teen then pulled out the piece of paper the Chairman had given him--it was filled with so many disgusting insults about Class E.

He then touched the object that was jutting out slightly out of his bag.

"But.....the choice is ultimately yours, Kotaro-kun. Oyasuminasai."

Kotaro looked back at the paper, shutting his eyes as he drew in a soft breath....

...and sighed.

"I guess...I'll go talk to Koro-Sensei now."

~~
//(Next Day)//

Tsuna looked up at the ceiling of the gymnasium and sweatdropped.

He saw......a black octopus...

(O.D.D.- I'm not being racist with octopuses, OKAY? ( ̄ー ̄))

'Koro-Sensei......when is that tan of yours going to go away?'

More students filled the gymnasium.

After a few more minutes of waiting, Kotaro walked onto the stage, carrying a sheet of paper; Tsuna noted that the teen was holding something else...

Kotaro tapped the mike before leaning slightly towards it.

"Please....listen to what I would like to do."

Class E perked up; Ryuunosuke murmured something.

"Apprehension. I can sense bloodlust from Takebayashi. Something....I feel like something important is going to be destroyed."

Kotaro took in a soft breath.

"The Class E in which I stayed in, is a gathering of weak people. Because they lack what we call academic strength, they receive discriminatory treatment from everyone in the main building. But for me....."

A smile slowly formed on his lips as he made a shrugging motion.

"That Class E....is almost as comfortable to be in as a maid cafe."

Jaws dropped and murmurs filled the gymnasium; Tsuna was smirking.

'Heh...this will be interesting.'

Kotaro bowed his head slightly, smiling wryly.

"....I was lying...because I wanted to be strong...because I wanted to be accepted. But...even though I was the most useless among Class E--and betrayed them on top of that--my classmates still came to see how I was doing, many times."

He smiled fondly.

"Sensei...even for a student like me, who had no knack for studying, he tried every method possible and schemed to teach me. I, who was unaccepted by my family--and all of you--was treated as an equal by everyone in Class E. All of you, who are aiming to become distinctly strong, and be accepted by society....I believe you are right and I respect you. But, for a little while longer...I'm fine with being weak."

He shifted the paper he had on the speech stand in front of him to the side.

"While bearing with weakness, and enjoying weakness, I will return to my life of aiming for the necks of the strong."

On the side of the stage, Gakushuu ground his teeth before hissing his words out to Kotaro.

"Have you lost it, d*** pawn? Take it back and apologize, Takebayashi! If you don't--!"

The redhead froze when he saw the object that Kotaro pulled out from under the sheet of paper he had.

...It was an award.

Asano Gakuho's award.

For the Best Educational Manager.

Made of fragile glass.

Kotaro held in the air, mouth set in a grim line.

"...I swiped this from the Chairman's room."

Collective gasps filled the air as he continued.

"It's like a shield which commends a private school's best manager."

Kotaro reached into his shirt and pulled out a wooden knife.

"...The Chairman is truly a strong person. All his actions are rational."

He raised the knife in the air.

Smash!

Everyone gaped and their eyes widened with shock as Kotaro...smashed the award into tiny pieces of glass.

"According to Asano-kun, in the past, another student did this same thing or something like that. Thinking rationally, based on precedent..."

Kotaro started to exit the stage before looking over his shoulder, flashing a cheeky, and happy, smile to the crowd.

"...I'd say....it's off to Class E....for me as well."

And he exited the stage--only to be stopped by Gakushuu.

"Hold it."

The redhead clasped a hand on Kotaro's shoulder as he gave a strained smile to the megane-teen.

"There really is no saving you, is there? And here we went through all this trouble to give you a chance to become strong."

Kotaro was silent for a moment.

"Plus.....families have no reason to be strong if they're not using that strength to protect someone they love."

The teen scoffed softly, pushing his glasses up.

"'Strong'? It looked like a group of people who were just scared. You, and everyone else."

Kotaro brushed past the stunned Gakushuu, who was glaring frustratedly at him.

Once Kotaro left the stage completely, he felt something light land on his hair.

Looking up, he found that Tsuna was there, smiling proudly while ruffling the teen's hair.

"Couldn't have said it better myself, Kotaro-kun."

The megane-teen blushed.

"You helped, so......I should be the one thanking you. So, arigatou, Tsuna-Sensei."

The brunet flushed a bit and rubbed the nape of his neck, leaning slightly on his crutch.

"Eheheh, no prob."

~~

Days have passed by.

Kotaro's back in Class E.

Kaede did an assassination of her own, involving pudding.

Of course, it failed--courtesy of Kaede who wanted to save her giant pudding--but they were all able to enjoy some of the pudding themselves.

(O.D.D.- I felt that Kaede-san's assassination was a bit of a filler, so I didn't go into full detail about it....sorry if you wanted a chapter on it. (_'))

Tsuna was still using a crutch, but it was way better than a wheelchair.

And now....Karasuma was starting a new part of the students' training.

The group was currently standing near a cliff edge.

Tsuna and Kyoya--the skylark decided to come out for the day to keep an eye on the brunet--watched the scene with interest.

Karasuma looked over the short fall past the edge before glancing back at the students.

"Mimura-kun, can you estimate how long it might take to get to that pine tree from here?"

The said ginger stood up and shadowed his eyes, glancing back and forth at the pine tree to the ground below them.

"E-Eto....I would crawl down the cliff in ten seconds....jump over that stream at a narrow point....go around the right where there's no brush, and finally, climb over that rock."

Kouki placed a hand under his chin while smiling nervously.

"I-I suppose it would take a minute at the least...."

And then...Karasuma smirked.

"Okay. I'll try going--time me."

He handed a stopwatch to Kouki before walking up to the edge of the cliff, turning his back to the edge, looking at the students.

"This...is the application of the athletics and rock climbing from the first semester. What freerunning cultivates, is the ability to gauge your physical strength, the Ukemi Technique, and the ability to measure the distance to and the degree of danger of the footing in front of you."

(O.D.D.- The Ukemi Technique is the basic technique of knowing how to fall while sustaining the least amount of damage. This is also another way to address Judo. ( ^ω^ ))

Karasuma then leaned backwards, shifting his balance.

"If you can do this, any location becomes a field for possible assassination."

And he fell, letting gravity tug him down to the bottom of the cliff.

The class watched with wide eyes as Karasuma landed with ease before springing onto a rock, pushing off to another rock, jumping over the tiny stream before landing on the other side.

He then hopped onto a tree limb, scaled a rock, and pushed off another one.

He reached the pine tree and grabbed one of the limbs to stop himself.

He didn't sweat a single drop.

Karasuma then called out to Kouki.

"What's the time?"

The ginger shakily lifted the stopwatch to view.

"T-Ten se-seconds......"

Karasuma dusted the front of his shirt off as he continued to hang on the tree limb.

"A technique to move down a path doesn't exist. If you train thoroughly and master this, it would even be possible to travel from building to building on foot."

Tsuna chuckled lightly at the surprised faces of the others.

Suddenly, Kyoya pushed off of the rock he was leaning on; Tsuna blinked in surprise.

"Kyoya-kun?"

The skylark merely glanced at Tsuna before loosening his tie and shrugging his suit top off, dropping them off on the side.

He walked up to Kouki, who was watching the other warily.

'This guy really scares me....' "H-Hai, Hibari-san?"

The skylark ran a hand through his hair.

"Hn. Time me."

The students stared at Kyoya with wide eyes.

'Is he....challenging Karasuma-Sensei's record?'

Tsuna sweatdropped.

"Oi, oi, oi.....Kyoya-kun..."

The said Cloud Guardian looked over at Tsuna and shrugged his shoulders slightly.

"I'm bored, Omnivore."

Tsuna sweatdropped again.

'Of course you are....'

Karasuma landed on the tiny island the lone pine tree was on, watching Kyoya with amusement.

The skylark yawned into one of his hands before looking at the drop before him.

He stuffed both of his hands into his pockets as he jumped off.

Once his feet met the ground below, he immediately pushed off and landed on a nearby rock.

He then directed his gaze to one of the nearby trees.

Kyoya leaped, flipped through the air, before landing on one of the limbs.

He then hopped off and landed on another stone before pushing off once more to land on a limb of the pine tree Karasuma was standing next to.

Kyoya then turned to look at Kouki.

Kouki swallowed.

"E-Eight and a h-half seconds."

Karasuma chuckled softly as he looked over at Kyoya.

The skylark didn't use his hands at all.

"You're fast."

Kyoya shrugged.

"Hn."

Tsuna sighed exasperatedly, drawling out his voice.

"You~show~off~!"

Kyoya quirked his lips up slightly into a smirk.

Karasuma shook his head slightly before looking over at the thunderstruck students.

"However, this is the same as our rules for our explosives. Trying this in a dangerous area or outside of this back mountain, or using techniques outside of the ones I teach, is strictly forbidden. Got it!?"

"Hai!"

~~

A few days later...and Koro-Sensei announced the game of Cops and Robbers--a version of tag in a way.

Everyone was currently in the classroom.

"Nurufufu~the role of the cops will be Karasuma-Sensei and myself."

Karasuma immediately scowled at Koro-Sensei.

"Wha--!?"

"In the instance that we cannot capture everyone within the first hour, I will use Karasuma-Sensei's wallet to buy everyone cake."

The Government Agent looked simply murderous as the octopus continued to speak.

"On th other hand, I'll double the homework if everyone is captured."

"WHAT!?"

"HOLD ON A SEC! YOU THINK WE CAN RUN FROM YOU IN ONE HOUR!?"

Koro-Sensei simply chuckled.

"Nurfufu~no need to worry about that. At first, Karasuma-Sensei will be the only one on the chase. Sensei will be on standby in the jail space in the schoolyard. And I will only move...in the last minute."

The students quieted down, a bit more pleased.

Yuuma grinned as he turned to look at the others.

"Alright! Let's give it a go, you guys!"

"Hai!"

~~
//(30 minutes Later)//

Tsuna sat by Koro-Sensei as students started to exit the forest, one by one.

The brunet hummed softly.

'Well....it's to be expected. Karasuma-san isn't just any Government Agent in the world--he's a professional at what he does.'

Tsuna then spotted a few uncaptured 'robbers' hiding in the bushes.

'Ah, that's right. Other robbers can free jailed robber by just tagging them. However....'

Koro-Sensei grinned widely when he saw the free robbers.

'Koro-Sensei won't let them go that easily.....'

But~Koro-Sensei was bribed anyways by Taiga, who gave pictures of women to the perverted octopus.

The 'robbers' escaped.

Bzzt, bzzt.

Koro-Sensei picked his phone up and accepted the call; Tsuna sweatdropped when he heard Karasuma's frustrated voice.

"...Hey. How did the captured robbers escape?"

~~

"WHERE'S THAT STUPID OCTOPUS!?"

Tsuna sweatdropped when he saw a murderous Karasuma stalk out of the forest with a rifle and a pistol.

Minutes had passed by, and Koro-Sensei was still letting the 'robbers' escape with ease.

The brunet chuckled as Karasuma was yelling at Koro-Sensei, but the octopus was somehow able to persuade the ravenet to go back in capturing the students, saying that there would be a surprise in the chase.

<<(With Karasuma)>>

'....Huh....it's becoming harder to sense their presences.'

Karasuma darted his gaze around and raised an eyebrow when he couldn't find tracks as easily
either.

The ravenet then smirked.

'So that's what the target was doing. He was giving them tips to escape better. However....with that d*** octopus alone, all of the students will be captured.'

Karasuma tagged a few students before pushing through a few leaves; he blinked in surprise when four students--Hiroto, Hinata, Megu and Masayoshi--were there to greet him.

'....A four man team--all excelling in mobility...'

A smirk slowly formed on the ravenet's lips.

'Hoh? So they're out here to challenge me? Interesting...' "The cliff ahead on the left is dangerous, so don't enter that area. Other than that, this fight is on."

"ROGER!"

The four quickly darted away.

The last few minutes were ticking away, and Karasuma slowly caught the four; the one minute was about to start.

The four captured 'robbers' panted heavily; Karasuma didn't break a single sweat.

"You ran pretty far. Impressive. But it'll soon be the last minute. If the target moves, this Cops and Robbers game will end with your loss."

Slowly, Hiroto smirked.

"He....hehehe...it's our win, Karasuma-Sensei."

The ravenet blinked in confusion.

"What?"

Hinata giggled breathlessly.

"Because, Karasuma-Sensei, you don't fly in the sky together with Koro-Sensei, right?"

Karasuma scrunched his face up slightly in disgust at such a thought.

"Of course not. If I had that sort of leisure, I would've stabbed him."

Megu smiled mischievously.

"Then, Karasuma-Sensei, you can't go back to the pool from here within a minute, can you?"

Realization dawned on Karasuma's face.

"D*** it!" 'That octopus can't swim in the water!"

<<(With Koro-Sensei)>>

"Ah....nu-nurufu...."

Koro-Sensei stared at the water with disbelief as Karma, Nagisa and Sugino sat at the bottom of the pool, daring the octopus to try and get them as they held real and Anti-Sensei knives at the ready.

They held their breath for one minute.

Ritsu announced the winner.

"Complete capture unsuccessful! The robbers win!"

Tsuna chuckled from his spot as he heard the loud cheers of the students from the grassy field by the school.

'Looks like the 'robbers' won.'

Suddenly, there was a slight sting in Tsuna's head; he winced and rubbed it.

'....Hm.......looks like trouble's going to come back soon.'
