~Nobody's POV

Soon it was time for supper. Natsu and Lucy went towards Nash's room. Lucy looked at Natsu, he had more scratches on his hand now and he looked slightly more calm.

Lucy opened the door and looked inside. "Nash, let's eat," she said softly. He sat on the bed, reading a book he found somewhere.

He didn't move. Without another word Natsu walked inside. He tapped Nash's shoulder, making him look up. "Supper. Now." In the same way he always called him when dinner was ready.

There was a moment of eyes softening from Nash's part.

Lucy rolled his eyes, couldn't he say it nicer? Nash nodded and prepared to stand up. Natsu had other plans though. He turned around, back facing Nash and bent down.

"Get on my back," Natsu said. Lucy saw Nash hesitating. But why was he doing that in the first place?

"I can walk," Nash whispered.

Natsu didn't move. "I don't care. Get on," he demanded. Nash sighed and went on his back.

Natsu stood up and held Nash secure. The tight grip on Nash's leg made him feel safe. The kid looked at his dad's pink hair. The same like always. Everything is still the same.

They walked in silence to the dinner hall. Almost everyone of his crew was there already.

They try to eat together as much as they can.

Natsu set down Nash and he walked to a seat. Everyone looked sympathetically at him. Natsu scowled loudly. "Nash doesn't need any of those looks. Let's just eat in peace."

Nash flinched at his sudden voice. He looked up at his father and mother, who were sitting at the end of the table and he next to the side. They gave him small smiles.

Nash clenched his hands but didn't say a thing. He felt.. he felt sick.

His mother pitied him too, Nash could feel it. "I don't need pity from you either," he mumbled, so soft that nobody heard.

Well, Natsu did hear something coming out his mouth. "Say that again?" he demanded. Everyone at the table was busy in their own conversation.

Lucy and Natsu leaned forward. Nash look straight at them. "I don't want pity from you!" he whispered loudly, getting some other members' attention.

Lucy was speechless but a smile was plastered on Natsu's face.

"You think I pity you?" Natsu asked and supported his head on his hand. Nash nodded without hestitation.

Natsu ruffled Nash's hair. "Nope," was his response. "I know the feeling of being watched."

Soon Ezra, Jellal and Reiki appeared in the room. Natsu crossed his arms. "You're late."

Ezra visibly rolled her eyes. "We were busy, sorry."

Reiki scanned the room, searching for one person, the person who was his best friend. He found him close to Nash's parents. He took the seat next to him.

"Hey, Nash," he greeted with a smile on his face. He couldn't help it and went to hug him. Nash didn't return the hug though. Reiki understood it, he went through so much, but it still hurt.

"Want to hang out in our secret spot later?" Reiki asked.

He knew Nash would be not talkative and would build walls. It was his nature, and Reiki knew him too well for that. So that's where he comes in place. He will help him recover. Nash shrugged, "Maybe."

Reiki gave him a friendly push on the shoulder. "Did you say yes? Okay, nice."

Nash rolled his eyes but managed a tiny smile. Natsu leaned forward with his hand still supporting him. "What were you guys talking about?" he asked, but Lucy knew he already knows.

Reiki's face went red. "None of your business."

Natsu raised his eyebrow, knowing fully well he intimidated the kids, except Nash.

"We are going to hang out later," Nash said, saving Reiki.

Natsu smirked. "In that secret spot of yours?"

Both Nash's and Reiki's jaws dropped. Then they turned to Natsu who was smirking. "I have to say, I like how you decorated the old room."

"H-how did you know?" Nash asked. Natsu smiled inwardly, Nash was being more talkative with Reiki here. "As if it isn't obvious. You always disappeared. I was bound to figure it out."

Reiki and Nash whined. "It was supposed to be a secret," they said in unison.

Lucy chuckled. "We won't say anything."

It was a sort buffet, so finally when everyone was there they grabbed their food.

Everyone except Nash. "You're not hungry?" Reiki asked while stuffing his food with chicken. Natsu was eating his meat when he looked up. Without another word he grabbed Nash's plate and placed some food on it.

Nash took the plate "Thanks." He stated at it, biting his lip.

Natsu watched him falter in his movements, seeing how Nash's emotions are all over the place right now.

Being starved for a while, Nash couldn't remember seeing this much food. Funny how everything could change in the span of two weeks.

Natsu grabbed his hand. "Whatever you're thinking, stop it and eat. Food nourishes your soul, okay?"

He nodded, shaking his head to get rid of the thought. For the rest of the dinnertime he didn't say a thing and soon it was time to go to bed.

Nash was walking with his parents to his room he shared with Reiki. He knocked on the door and Reiki opened it, already in his PJ.

He looked who it was and then opened it widely. "Finally. I was wondering when we could spend the night together like old days."

Nash smacked his friend on the head, "You say it like I didn't sleep here 15 days ago."

Reiki rolled his eyes but let him in. Natsu and Lucy also walked in the boys room.

Two separated beds but close to each other. Nash changed into his PJ with help from Lucy. The parents gave him a good night kiss. "Sleep tight."

Then they walked to Reiki. "Could you inform us if something happens?" Lucy asked, making sure to keep her voice low. Reiki nodded. "Sure thing. But he is your son. You are strong, so Nash is also strong."

Natsu already walked to the door. "We know."

The boys went under the covers. They looked at the ceiling, both saying nothing.

"I'm scared," Nash suddenly said. Reiki sat up and turned on a night lamp that was between them on the wall.

"Why?" Reiki asked, watching as Nash also sat up and pulled up his knees.

"The nightmares I know I'll get. I will experience all the torture again," he said lowly. He was shaking now.

He didn't show it to his parents how afraid he was. They also went through so much. They will get upset when they see how scared he is.

Reiki looked at the bed, big enough for two persons. Would that be weird what he had in mind?

Who cares? Nash needs a friend right now, he stood up and walked to Nash's bed, "Move."

Nash moved to one side and watched as Reiki joined the other. "I'm here."

The small reassurance made him feel slightly better.

"And by the way, don't lose yourself, I still have to kick your ass in soccer," Reiki added. Nash chuckled, smiling at his attempt to lighten the mood.

"Ha.. ha.. ha. Like I'd let you."

The atmosphere turned into serious again. "Please wake me up when I w—"

Reiki interrupted him, "I will, don't worry. So.. should I sing you a song to make you fall asleep?"

The looked at each other. In Nash's eyes was amusement and soon they burst out laughing. "You? Singing? Pff," Nash said between his laughs.

Reiki smiled. "Better than you anyways."

Nash stroked up his sleeves. "You wanna go?"

Their heads came against each other. Reiki took a quick glance at his arms and his heart sped up at the sight of all the red lines and bruises.

He felt Nash's burning stare on his face, knowing he wanted to unroll his sleeves again. Reiki shook his head to clear his thoughts and gave a grin. "With pleasure."

And then they grabbed the pillows and smacked each other with them. Reiki didn't even hold back, even when knowing Nash was still hurt.

And Nash loved it. He didn't want special treatment. He's stronger than that..

Suddenly Reiki smacked him with the pillow straight in the face. Nash fell off the bed on the ground. He groaned loudly.

"You okay?" Reiki asked concerned. He didn't mean to smack him that hard. Nash slowly stood up, his own bangs covering his eyes. Exactly the way his father does.

He stepped on bed and towered over Reiki. "You jerk," he said and smacked him just as hard. This time Reiki fell back but he was still on the bed.

The boys both tried to smirk, it looked rather like a grin though. "Are you really declaring war with me?"

Reiki grabbed another pillow from his bed. Nash whined, "Cheater, I have only one pillow."

Reiki threw one in Nash's face, he caught it easily. He felt some stings while he moved so much around. He knew he can't overwork himself, and he wouldn't.

Reiki threw the cover over Nash. Nash moved and pulled the cover away.

"Oh you're the one declaring war," Nash said, looking him dead in the eyes. Then they both laughed and began attacking with the pillows.

Reiki felt accomplished because he knew that even if Nash wasn't recovering mentally yet, he still managed to distract him. He made him think about something else besides the rough and terrifying times.

Meanwhile with Natsu and Lucy

Lucy changed into her nightgown and Natsu into his sleep pants. "You think Nash will be okay?" Lucy asked, rubbing her elbow with her hand.

Natsu prepared to go to bed, "He will be fine, he's got his best friend there."

"Why are you so indifferent now? And why did you ask those stupid questions like 'who are you'?" she questioned more harshly than she'd liked.

"He isn't held captive anymore. He needs to recognize he's here. The best way to do that is by giving out orders which will force his mind to reflect. His mind will torture him the most right now. He's better than that."

Lucy was still worried, like always. She sat on the bed, her back facing Natsu's side. A tiny lamp lit the room. "And I'm not being indifferent, I'm hiding my feelings. Don't you think it absolutely torments me to see him so broken? I can't show my inner despair. He needs someone who's going to ground him. And that someone will be me," he finished tightly.

He walked towards Lucy's side and pushed her on the bed.

"Stop worrying," was all he said before kissing her slowly. Sweet and tender.

It escalated quick into a passionate and fierce kiss. Natsu moved Lucy to the middle of the bed and climbed on top of her. Of course not letting his weight crush her.

After they broke the kiss Lucy pushed Natsu away. "I'm not in the mood.. we have so much going on right now."

Lucy looked away and then at Natsu again. She wanted it but also not. His bare chest was also distracting her.

"That's why I want to help you relax. We saved Nash. My other members handled the police. And nobody died."

Lucy sat up and pulled up her knees, "I'm scared Nash won't change back to how he used to be."

Natsu looked sadly at her and pushed her down again. He began kissing her neck repeatedly. No more speaking.

They were expressing their feelings through the kissing, movements and everything.

"Let me take care of you now," Natsu whispered in her ear and began kissing her again.

Lucy's hands found a way to his hair and tugged it. Lucy returned the kiss with tears streaming down.

She had to be strong in front of Nash, and of course Natsu knew that.

They broke the kiss when they were out of breath. Natsu looked at her with the same emotion.

Lucy smiled through another kiss. Natsu smirked against her, "Still not in the mood?"

Lucy embraced Natsu tightly, he was taken off guard by that. "You know the answer, don't you?"

Natsu laughed at that and put one hand behind her head, bringing it forwards and kissing her forehead.

"I do."

-time skip after that-

They laid down together under the blankets. Natsu's body was embracing Lucy's.

"I missed this. We had so much going on that I didn't have time for you," Natsu spoke in her neck. Lucy loved the feeling while humming in agreement.

"We should go away for a week, together plus Nash," Lucy said. Natsu thought about it, "Maybe we should."

Then Lucy broke the sort of hug and turned around. "And you, mister, should get some sleep. You still didn't sleep after we saved Nash."

Natsu smirked, "Oh, I forgot. I really liked that side of you, Luce." Her heart swelled with the use of his nickname for her.

"What side?" she asked while sitting up on his torso. Her hand going slowly back and forth, tracing the lines from his abs.

Lucy bent forwards and kissed his neck lightly while gripping his hair. The kiss went from his neck till his chest. She could hear Natsu's breath being caught in his throat. Natsu groaned, "Not the teasing side!"

Lucy laughed and rolled off him. Natsu gripped his hair in frustration, "You can be such a tease sometimes."

Lucy winked at him when he looked, "But you love it."

Natsu shook his head, a smile forming on his face, "Sometimes." Lucy went under the blankets again.

"Serious though, what side?" Lucy asked innocently.

Natsu rolled his eyes, "The bossy side."

Okay, here is another chapter for you guys!! I swear, I'm fangirling about how I write Nash and Reiki's bromance. Fuck I love their friendship.

I have only one two things in mind for this story. So I really think we are nearing the end.

Haha, I really felt uncomfortable with writing the NaLu moment, even though it wasn't even anything extreme. Good reason for me not to write a lemon XD

Hope you enjoyed the chappie and if you did please vote or comment!
