~Nobody's POV
Natsu immediately ran towards the main hall in the basement. Gray came out from a room when he heard the scream. They didn't hesitate to pull out both of their guns.
A murder look appeared on Natsu's face, and Gray knew too well what that meant.
A couple seconds later they arrived, immediately scanning the area. Tables were crashed and walls were broken.
But almost no one was injured. Natsu's eyes searched the people, stopping when he didn't see what he wanted to see. "What happened? Where is Lucy?"
Immediately everyone pointed to the middle of the room and without hestitation Natsu walked there, narrowing his eyes. He wanted to snarl at the guards not doing their job well.
The thought of having traitors in this room infuriated him. "Elfman," he snapped, looking at one of their most valuable guards.
"Clear," he said with a nod.
Lucy was on the ground, a bullet wound in her arm, along with some cuts. Wendy was treating her wound. The worst of all, she was crying. The crying is the only sound to be heard.
Moments later the other members came into the hall.
Natsu narrowed his eyes when he saw Lucy. He clenched his hand.
He stood next to her, not bending down to comfort her just yet. "What happened?" Gray asked someone, anyone. Nobody answered.
Natsu was looking around again, his aura became darker the moment he figured out what happened. There was one person missing that should be here. Mira came out the crowd and walked to them, her face sad.
"They have taken Nash. It was too sudden. Lucy screamed for help and tried to protect him, no use. They used a smoke bomb."
"Natsu," Lucy cried out when she slowly went to stand up. Her face was full of tears. Natsu's hand turned white from the clenching.
Lucy embraced her husband in a tight hug, crying on his chest and making his shirt wet. Natsu held her with one hand but didn't say a single word.
His face was void of any sad emotion except the anger that was visible. "Why is everyone still standing here? SEARCH FOR THE DAMN ASSHOLES!" he screamed.
Immediately most of the people got out of their trance and left, while some stayed. He gestured for Wendy to stand up from her frozen position. Lucy was gripping Natsu's shirt tightly, pulling on it as she cried.
"He is taken away from me right in front of me. Nash!"
Natsu sighed, he understood her pain better than anyone else. Why wouldn't he? Nash was also his son. But what she was doing is wasting time. He immediately scolded himself for thinking that.
Wendy stood infront of Natsu, like he gestured. Natsu broke Lucy's tight embrace and pushed her towards Wendy. Because of her state she was easy to push.
Lucy was surprised by the push and looked up to Natsu's cold stare. Does this not effect him in any way? Lucy thought. But then she shook the thought away. Of course it does.
"N-Natsu," Lucy whispered, her voice already hoarse from the yelling.
"Lucy, stop crying, will you?" His voice came out colder than he expected. Lucy flinched at this, not the words she wanted to hear right now.
"Why? Nash is kidnapped! He's our son! Why can't I cry?"
Natsu stepped closer to her and looked her in the eye. Oh god, how much he loved her, this is the only way to secure some stability in his mind right now.
"Lucy. Shut the fuck up. I can't worry about two important people, Nash is already enough. Please, just stop crying."
Her eyes widened, biting her lip in attempt to stop the tears that want to come out. She clenched her hands. "Are you serious right now?" she asked harshly, standing up straight. Out of all the people she expected to comfort her, he was the one who should have but didn't.
His eyes softened slightly, the tremble in his lip telling her he does care. "Please take care of yourself, Luce. I know I'm not in the right mind to do that. I'm sorry."
Then he walked away, his men following him out of habit.
They know exactly where he was going. His hands itched to kill someone right now. This is his family, his people. Don't show weakness, or people will doubt your authority.
Lucy watched them go, silently crying. She looked at Wendy, who was close to crying too.
The only thought in her head was about Nash. How could they? She remembered his plead for mercy when they took him. He had tears in his eyes then.
"Why is Natsu hiding his feelings?" Lucy whispered to Wendy.
Wendy brought her to a room. They both sat down and Mira joined them. "His son is kidnapped, Lucy. My nephew is kidnapped."
Lucy calmed a little down but the sobbing hadn't stopped.
"What is the point of him crying now Crying isn't going to help him, and he knows that. Crying doesn't help him in finding Nash. It will only waste time. He's the head. We can't let him lose control. He can't afford losing himself in blind rage."
Mira brought her a cup of tea. Lucy let Wendy's words get to her. She was right, crying isn't going to help. But she wasn't as strong as Natsu.
He was emotionally a lot stronger than she was.
She whispered things to herself.
Promises.
"We will get you back, even if it is the last thing I'll do."
Meanwhile with Natsu
"Where?" Natsu yelled in Jason's face while holding him by his collar.
Jason's face was confused. Natsu just walked in with his crew and asked where. Where what?
"What do you mean?" Jason asked lowly, if he spoke one word out of the line he knew it could end up badly for him.
Natsu's face was the definition of furious.
He felt the grip by his collar getting tighter. "Where is their basement?" Natsu asked impatiently.
"Uhh—"
"Listen Jason. You better not infuriate him any more or you won't see the next day coming up," Laxus spoke with a cold voice.
"I don't know," Jason yelled. Moments later he was thrown to the ground. He coughed from the impact and lied on his stomach.
"What do you mean you don't know?" Natsu asked with a snarl.
Jason held his hands up in surrender. "Listen man, they have a lot of basements. I don't know which one it will be."
Natsu walked over to him and placed a foot on his back. "Then you will give me the location to all their basements," Natsu scowled. What for stupid respond was that?
"P-please. If you go to the wrong one they know I'm still alive. They have securities around every place. And if that happens they will finish off Jessica."
Natsu squatted down and gave him a stern look.
"Look, I don't give a fuck. Give me the damn locations. I swore to get your sister back, didn't I? But now they have taken my son. My son. And I will never forgive them."
Jason coughed again from the rough treatment. "But still."
All the men in the room grew irritated. Natsu glared at him. "If I don't find my son I will not find your sister."
Jason's eyes widened. He let out a silent cry. With everything he does, there is a chance of not getting his sister back. "Give me a paper and pen," he muttered.
Natsu raised his hand a little and flicked his index finger in the air, gesturing for someone of the guys to get it. Soon Jellal came and placed a notebook and pen in Natsu's hand.
Natsu then threw it to Jason. Jason sat up and scribbled addresses on the paper. When he was done he held it out for Natsu to take.
He mentally prayed for them to not screw this up and let his sister be killed. Natsu snatched it from his hands and then proceeded to walk away.
"Wasn't that hard, was it?" Natsu mumbled under his breath.
Gajeel and Gray tied him up again and everyone except Jason left the room.
Natsu was looking at the addresses, thinking. They were at least three hours of driving away.
Jellal walked next to him and he gave the paper to him.
"Give me informations about those places, last seen, last used, everything."
Natsu wasn't dumb. He can't rush in and try to look for Nash. That would be suicide, no matter how strong the mafia is.
They have the thing that mattered the most, excluding Lucy, they have Nash. And they can, no, they will use it against him.
After hours nobody had found them. Jellal was still searching the information of all the places. Natsu was in his office while watching all those securities cameras around the area of Raven Tail.
The areas where they usually are recognized.
He had a copy of all the locations Jason gave. He was behind his laptop while using one hand to support his face.
He had found one tape where he saw the kidnappers take away Nash. But the next moment the camera was unplugged and his image was black.
He saw Nash's look. He had tears in his eyes when he zoomed in. Natsu was still thinking of that look. The terrified look Nash had.
Natsu sighed loudly and wrapped his hands around each other, breathing in his hands.
"Nash, hang on. You're strong."
He stood up and went to the bedroom. He was informed Lucy would be here. Natsu opened the door and saw his wife sleeping not peacefully on one side of the bed.
He walked over to her and saw the dried tears he expected. He was sorry for saying the harsh things to Lucy. But if he saw her cry any longer he would have also broken down, or killed someone.
Natsu carefully caressed her cheeks with one finger, sighing.
"I'm sorry that Nash had to have this kind of life. I'm sorry he just couldn't have a peaceful life. No kid should experience this. I'll bring him back to us."
Natsu knew how they worked. They will torture him and send videos of him eventually. Nash will experience the worst kind of pain he could handle.
And maybe, maybe, the pain will become too much for him and he will die. Let's hope that is not their case.
But they aren't going to kill him, yet.
He gritted his teeth and looked at the empty cupboard in the room. His eyebrows furrowed and his eyes narrowed.
A new kind of hatred flashing through his eyes.
"I will make them pay for laying a single finger on Nash. Those bastard are going down."
