"Boss, we have new captives," The Lizard said as she burst inside my office. I looked up from my papers with a blank face "bring them to me," I said coldly. Lizard nodded and dashed out again. I sighed and leaned back in my chair. I then got up and went to the captive room, which we call 'room for the commotion.'

I went to my Throne, and after a few seconds, the door swung open with The Lizard and eight new faces. I looked coldly at them and scanned them all with my blue eyes. All of them froze under my gaze, and most looked down."So my folk tells me that you have entered my kingdom without any permission, is that true?" I said as I gazed at them. A boy with orange light hair stepped forward. "Yes, Rose, we came here without permission, but we just wanted to see the big mafia queen that we have heard so much about back home," he said and bowed. I was a little surprised that they had come to see me. I went down from my Throne and stood before them. "You have brave hearts; therefore, your deeds should not be punished. Take them to a room; they can stay here and see how we treat guests," I said, ok put my hand on his cheek and first it, so he saw me in the eyes .

Lizard and a couple of other guards led the boys to another place in the castle. Ocean was one of your advisers, and she stayed. "Queen, are you sure it's wise to have new folks inside your home? What if they's spies from one of the other clans," she said. I sighed and turned my back to her. "They were human blood, Ocean. No human will want to silence the other clans," I said before sitting down on the Golden Throne. The Throne had headed for various mystical creatures that my father had slaughtered before he realized it was wrong to take other animals' lives without a good reason.

-Hyunjins pov-

we had just been left to ourselves in a rather large dorm, as these people called it. It was big enough for all eight of us. I was overwhelmed by how the great mafia queen had treated us. Many said she was cold and killed without mercy, but this woman showed nothing but charity. I saw how overwhelmed the others were too.

"She was not what I had thought," Felix said as he sat down next to me. The rest of us nodded at what he said. "Not--" Chan started but was interrupted by a soft knock on the large wooden door. "It's just food and drinks, newcomers," said a friendly voice outside the door. Chan stood up and opened the door. There stood a pretty thin lady, in maybe 30 years. she was wearing a big white apron and a big smile pasted on her face. But this smile looked real.

"I did not know what you liked, so I took some of the best dishes I could make in such a short time. Rose also wanted you to be treated well here," she said and gave us a large tray with all sorts of dishes. She smiled at us before she went back to god knows where.

"Well, that was unexpected," I said as Chan had sat down the tray on the small wooden table that was in the middle of two large couches. "let's dig in," Chan said with a smile. And that's what we did.

-Rose pov-

I had sat down in the room I usually wear when I needed alone time. Soon the door opened, revealing my so-called mate, Shadow. "Oh hey mate," I said, not looking away from the portrait I focused on. Shadow was silent, and I could feel him move over to me. "you're drawing again?" he said behind me. I didn't even bother to look at him but hummed an answer. I heard him sigh. "Why did u spear those intruders?" he hissed softly. I rolled my eyes and finally turned to face him. "Those 'Prisones' is under my care. They didn't even want anything wrong, and still, you judge them." I spat, not caring anymore about his nerves. 

He knew that he was not the one to ask about my decisions, yet he did every time. We have been dating for a few years now, and he had never mentioned marriage. I was pretty happy with that because I stopped loving him after he wasn't there when my father died. He had even been on a quest to kill him, so I had sent him away, for he was indeed guilty in my father's death. But recently, he had found a way back to my kingdom. I had broken up a long time ago nut he still thought of me as his girlfriend. We never even cuddled anymore. He had just been my second-hand command after Lizard. 

I had stood up from my chair, not wanting to talk anymore with him. Soon I had gone to the door of the dorm that was dedicated to *Stray kids*. I knocked softly. Soon the door creaked open, and eight confused stares met me. I smiled warmly and went inside. "So I've seen you've done yourself at home here. That's good. You're also welcome to go around in the palace if you want; this is your home for a while now," I said with a smile and whipped my hand in the air—a glass of red strawberry wine appeared in my hand. The boys were even more surprised and widened their eyes. I chuckled and whipped again. This time, a set of new clothes appear on their bodies. Their old ones have had been dirty and society destroyed. 

"There, that's better," I hummed, proud of my choice in clothes on them.
