"Oh shit." Said Antonio.

"Thank God we were listening brother. Amadeo hasn't even turned his ear device on. On second note I was enjoying our bro getting lucky." Said Daniel.

"Good god Daniel focus on the situation for Christ's  sake. I can't hear their conversation because of your blabbering. " said Antonio.

"I am focusing. I'm alerting back up near the venue and our home too."

"Good thinking Salvador can attack from anywhere. Wait he is saying something. "

Amadeo's POV

"Long time no see amico You've brought a date too." He says. My blood is boiling. How dare he?

"Get me a drink, scotch on the rocks." I spat at Ava. She tried to talk back but I cut her off , "Go. Now." I have to do this I can't show Salvador that I care for her.

I grabbed her arm."We have to leave now." I said as dragged her out.

"Place protection on every house. This bastard is upto something. " I said onto the earpiece.

"Already done bro just get out of there. " said Antonio.

We are outside with my car waiting. I quickly get into the car with Ava.

"Andiamo. Spostalo rapidamente.(Let's go. Quick move it.)" I shout.

I reached under the seat and grabbed my gun.

"Oh my God. You have a gun. Why do you have a gun?" She shouted.

And suddenly a bullet hit the car. Then more bullets came along.

"Ava get down." I said as I pushed her down and covered her body with mine. A bullet broke the windshield and the driver screamed as the car came to a screeching halt.

"Oh no. He is dead. He is shot." She started crying and shaking.

"Hey Ava, mio amore, listen to me closely I'm going out and do not I repeat do not leave the car until I come and get you okay."

"No no don't leave me Amadeo. Please they are shooting outside."

"I'll be fine tesoro."

"No no Amadeo."

I got out of the car and looked over the car to see the team fighting off. "It's Salvo. He send his troop. I don't think our men will last much longer. He had this all planned out. I'm going in. Make sure our families are safe."

"Get those bastards brother."

"Oh I will. They don't who they are messing with."

Then I raise my gun firing at them as  they go down one by one. A man comes charging at me. I kick him on the stomach. Another fires a shot and i duck. I fire a couple of times more and run out of bullets. The team tries to fight them while knock out some with punchrs on their faces.

Ava. They got her. I turn around try to get her but I get tackled ground. I move his body get upright until he sends a kick flying onto my face. Son of a bitch. I grab the back of my gun and jam it on his head knocking him unconscious. I spit the blood out of my mouth. I block any movements from the other soldiers as they continue to attack me. I grab the gun from a fallen soldiers snd shoot the fuckers. I get to the car to see Ava gone with one of her heels lying on the ground beside a guard stained with blood. My heart races. I grab tge guy pull him up.

"Where is she? What did you do to her you bastard?" I shouted at him grabbing him by the neck.

"I don't know. I don't know. She attacked me and ran away. I was just supposed to take that bitch to signore Bocelli."

I jam his head on the car. "You speak of her again like that and I swear to God I'll tear you from limb to limb. You see your team out there they are all dead. You are still breathing to deliver a message to Bocelli. Tell him that if he tries to come at me again he will soon be a dead man."

I leave him. The unit's on standby looking for anymore left.

"Ava" I shout. Where is she? I go by the trees another of her heels lying at the side of a tree. I go closer and hear ragged breathing on ths side of the bush.

Ava's POV

I run with all my power. I run away from that horrible man who tried to take me. I was in the car. Scared. Alone. I could hear the bullets. I was shaking from fear. Suddenly the door opens and someone grabs me roughly. I stuggle to get out of his hold.

"Stop struggling, yoh bitch. You are coming with me."

I shout for help. "Aahhhh, Amadeo help."

That man places a sharp object on my neck. I scream. "I am taking you, you bitch. The easy way," He presses the knife near my throat I scream in pain. " or the hard way."

What do I do? Oh my God he is going to kill me. I push my heels hard on his toes. It takes him by surprise and he falls to the ground hitting his head. My heels come off as I grab his knife and run.

I run into the trees stumbling and falling over the grass. I crawled towards a bush and squeezemyself in the small space to hide. The pain grows slowly and tears keep falling. I was shaking, the knife still in hand. Where is Amadeo? Did they kill him? Are they gonna kill me too?

Someone touches me and I scream. I keep moving the knife in front me to protect myself. The knife is taken away as the person hugs me tightly chanting words in my ear that I couldn't make out. My head feels heavy. My vision goes blurry and I embrace the darkness.

Amadeo's POV

I follow the muffled whimpers and there she is shaking and crying, curled up in a ball. I touch her and she screams moving a knife at me. I take the knife from her and embrace her.

"It's okay, mio amore. You are safe. Shush calm down you are safe. No one will hurt you now." I say to her as she grows limp in my arms.
