It's coming!! Chaol's novel will be out on September 5th. Now being referred to as book 6 and no longer a side novella, I have a feeling that SJM will not only give us a window into what he's been up to, but also set up book 7 for what will have to be an epic battle.

My theory for this series is a battle of five armies type of situation, similar to the final installment of the hobbit films. EoS gave us a glimpse into the factions coming into play, with the fae, the gods, the red assasins from the early part of Aelins life as well as her personal circle which now included Manon's witch clan.

Chaol is most likely healing and working on his end to build some type of defense for her and Dorian as well. I mean, right?

The experts, and by experts I mean the super fans in my Facebook group, have strongly advised any and all readers to read The Assassins Blade before ToD. Well, actually it would be best to read them before EoS.

So, that would be me. I haven't read them yet, in case you haven't checked out the Assassins Blade chapter here. I've had reservations, not quite ready to read about her ruthlessness during that time. But I guess I have to bite the bullet and crack open those books.

I'm sure it will be a huge chore, LOL!
