The school bell rang for lunch and Dan and Phil walked into the cafeteria holding hands. They sat on a table and we're just about to get their packed lunches out when the principle walked into the cafeteria. She walked up to the table and said to Dan and Phil "can i talk to you in my office for a moment?"

Dan and Phil stood up, put thier bags on their backs, grabbed each other's hands and followed the principle into the office. They saw Dan's mum and dad sitting in there, his mum looking upset, his dad looking angry.

"So" the principle said to Mr and Mrs Howell "can you please explain exactly what you know"
"I don't know anything, but my son is being abused for being himself" Mr Howell said.
"Dan, Phil, please sit down."
They obeyed, and sat in 2 chairs, next to each other.
"Dan, is this true? Have people been abusing you?"
"Yes." Dan shyed away and squeezed Phil's hand tighter
"Tell me about it please"
Dan told the principle everything that he told his mum, and the fact that morning they walked into registration and said that they are gonna out and someone shouted abuse at Dan.
"Wow" the principle said, actually shocked. "We're going to get this sorted. But let me get this straight, these people are abusing you because of your sexuality?"
"Yeah, that's right" Dan said, tears forming in his eyes.
"Phil, Dan said that you are also bisexual, and you came out in the same day as Dan."
"That is right, yes" Phil said
"Have you had any of the abuse that Dan has had?"
"No"
"Ok so this is a single-person attack"

The room stayed silent for a few minutes.

"Dan, do you know who it is?"
"Yeah, Greg, Drake, Todd and Patrick in our room"
"Ok" she sighed "I'll sort this out, but for now you all need to go home and relax. Dan and Phil I have allowed you a week off, I will see you on Monday morning"
"Thanks"
Everyone stood up and dismissed themselves. They walked out of the school property, climbed into the car and drive to Dan's house.
"Can Phil stay over for a few days?"
"Of course" Mr Howell said
"I'll just go home and get some clothes. I'll be back in about an hour, ok?"
"See you in a bit" Dan said, before giving Phil a kiss.
Phil walked out the door and Dan watched him go. He ran upstairs to tidy his room and get ready. He was so happy. He loved Phil so much, he was one of the only few things that made him happy.
"Is it alright if Phil sleeps in my room?" Dan shouted down
"Yeah of course!" His parents shouted up "as long as nothing but kissing goes on"
"It won't" Dan said extremely happily. He smiled and put his headphones in, waiting for Phil to return.
