Three weeks later, Dan was allowed back home. His mum thought it was best if he went back to school, as her and his dad would be at work, and at least at school he wouldn't be on his own.

**TIME SKIP** - Monday Morning

Dans mum rung up the school, and told them that Dan was coming in. Dan ran upstairs and texted Phil.

**TIME SKIP**

"Hey Phil"
"Hey Dan. Are you ok?"
"I'm good, thanks"

It broke Dans heart to talk to him like this - he still loved him.

"Hey Dan?"
"Yeah?"
"I have something to tell you"
"Um.... ok"
"I broke up with Amy"
"Why?"

Phil tensed up, and went pale.
"I love you!"

Dan smiled.
"I love you too!"

They kissed. They loved it. They didn't need to ask if they were going out - they were. They walked into school holding hands. They went into form, when they got the announcement that they had an assembly lesson 5.

**TIME SKIP**

Dan and Phil walked into the assembly and took their seats right at the back. The rest of the year followed. The bullies gave Dan looks, and one comment 'how's your wrists? You should've finished the job' Dan let a tear fall down his cheek once he had turned away, but squeezed Phil's hand tighter and tried to calm down.

I just need to cut into the story for a moment. This part may get confusing if I don't say this. By this time, the whole school knows that Dan tried to.... you know. That's all i needed to say.

The head teacher walked in.

"Alright, listen up!"

She sounded really angry.

"YOU ALREADY KNOW THAT BULLYING IS UNACCEPTABLE IN THIS SCHOOL, AND YOU KNOW THE EFFECTS OF BULLYING. WE HAD A STUDENT HERE TRY TO KILL HIMSELF, BECAUSE YOU WOULDN'T ACCEPT HIM FOR WHO HE IS! FROM NOW ON, WHOEVER BULLIES AND IS CAUGHT OR WHOS NAME IS TOLD, WILL GET ISOLATION. THATS IT. PLAIN AND SIMPLE! Dismissed"

The whole year laughed all the way out the door, muttering and whispering. Dan knew it was about him.

The headteacher walked up to him.
"Are you ok?"
"Yes, thank you miss."
"Good. I'm sorry I didn't get them into isolation sooner, this never would've happened." She said, looking apologetically at Dans wrist. Her eyes let a tear fall down. She wiped it away, angrily.
"It's not your fault!"
"Thanks Dan."
