*Third Person's POV*

Valentino walked into his office to see the Alpha of the neighboring pack. He walked over to his office with a huffed and sat down on his large leather swing chair.

" Alpha Valentino, I have news of the best kind." He spoke in his aging voice. He stood there with graying hair and wrinkling skin. His green eyes scanned Alpha Valentino with happiness.

" We have found the Mother Luna." He smiled as he walked over to the desk and stood in front of it. " Or more to the point Alpha Leon has found the Luna. Turns out, it's his daughter. She was hiding the mark from him."

" Alpha Gabriel. We both know that Alpha Leon only wants one thing. Power, how can we be sure that his daughter truly is the Mother Luna." Valentino asked as Gabriel as he shook his head.

" I thought that myself so I went and checked. There it was, sitting on her hip a crescent moon." Leon confirmed as Valentino shook his head. " She has been taken to the council already, the ceremony will be held in three days. All Alphas, Lunas, Betas and Beta females are to attend."

" Very well. I guess I will see you there. But..." Valentino spoke as he pushed himself up off his chair. " I have a mate to attend too."

" A mate? Valentino, you never said you found your mate! Where is she?" Gabriel chimed happily as Valentino walked over to his door.

" She was a lone wolf so is still trying to adjust to the understanding she will become Luna. I do not want to place anymore stress on her at the moment." He said as he opened he door. " You are more than welcome to stay the night."

" Thank you, enjoy your night." Gabriel just told him as Valentino left his office and walked back too his room. 

*Echo's POV*

I stepped out of my quick shower and wrapped a black fluffy towel around my frame before walking out of the room to grab on of Val's shirts as I had nothing clean to wear. But as I stepped out Val had just walked into the room and was now staring intensely at myself.

" The Mother Luna has been found." He said not really paying any attention to the words he spoke but more on me ad the fact I was in nothing but a black towel. Val walked over as if he was stalking his prey, I took careful steps back until my back hit the wall behind me. 

" You look so..." His deep voice growled as he pinned mine between his arms and the wall. His eyes were now jet black much like his hair. His eyes fell and then trained themselves onto my chest and he let out a deep growl. His hand lifted up and traced over my collar bone and over a specific spot... The mark...

" The Crescent Moon." He whispered as his thumb traces over my mark. I looked away and instantly lifts the towel up to cover it.

" Why did you not tell me? You are the Mother Luna." He asked with hurt evident in his eyes as I shook my head.

" I always thought it was nothing more than just a mark. But then when you told me about it... I-I don't know." I spoke quietly as tears formed in my eyes at the realisation of the severity of this situation I was currently in now. I had no idea just how to deal with all this new news. Val just sighed heavily and wrapped his arms around me pulling me close to his chest. One arm wrapped tightly around my shoulders and he had his other hand pressed against the back of my head.

" It's alright. We will get this sorted out." He hushed to me and he just held me close and his lips rested against my hair. He moved so his chin now rested in place of his lips.

" But... Now you know, not only and I in danger. But you and the whole pack as well." I cried as I now realised that in a way I have just sentenced everyone to death. " I am the one that caused all of this. Me."

" Echo look at me." Val spoke in a stern voices and he grabbed both my cheeks and forced my eyes and face to look up at him. "By you just saying that, proves that you are worthy to be The Mother Luna."

" Val..." I whispered as the tears continued to fall, but they had now changed from upset to happy.

" Echo, Just know that no matter what you decided to do. I will always have your back and I will never let you fall." Valentino spoke before placing his lips onto my own. His warmth spread through every single part of me through my veins. His thumbs caressed away my fallen tears as he pulled away and kissed under each eye.

" Please don't cry again. It breaks my heart to see it." He whispered as he kissed me once again, to begin with the kiss was tender and just loving. But as soon as a few moments past, tongues got involved and things slowly began to get hearts as we wrestled each other. My back was now pressed against the wall with Val pinning every part of me too it. A soft moan escaped my lips as his hands started to roam my sides up and down, I gasped when I felt his hand slip up and run against my stomach. Sending butterflies to fly crazily around within me and a heat to start between my legs. Just as he was about to unclip my bra, a knock on the door sounds. Val sighed and looked down to me a little hot and flustered looking.

" Go and put some clothes on, darling. I don't want any eyes but my own seeing you like this." He spoke and kissed my fore head before turning to the door. I followed his instructions and walked to the closet. The only problem was, I had no clothes as I lost all of mine when I was chased by those rouges. Apart from the ones that were on my back at the time, only problem was they were torn and bloody. I sighed and walked over to Val's clothes and picked out the most comfy looking black shirt and light grey jogging bottoms. I quickly slipped them on and rolled the jogging bottoms up and tied the waist tightly so they would not fall down. The shirt was a very large fit and reach well past my knees so I decided to tuck it into the joggers. Once I was happy I walked out and followed Val's scent.
