True to the doctor's orders, Val kept me under bed rest and he would only allow me to walk to the conjoining bathroom. I have yet to meet any of the pack member as Val would not allow any of them near the room I was currently staying in, which, coincidentally was his room. I would lay in bed and watch the Television while surrounded by his thick scent. Val had to teach me the ins and outs of the picture box hanging on the wall as this was the first time I had ever seen one. Sure I have heard of them, but I have never been able to use or watch one.

"Princess? I brought you dinner." Val spoke as he opened the door with his left hand and walked into the room. In his right hand he carried a tray of delicious smelling food. But in truth I was not sure if the delicious smell was from the food or from him.

"Thank you." I muttered staring at him as he walked over to me after kicking the door shut with his foot. I watched as his right bicep stayed tense with the weight of the try, his chest rippled and moving with the breaths and steps he took.

" Honey, keep staring at me like that and I might not be able to keep myself to myself for much longer." Val spoke in a deep husky voice as his face was now a mere inch from my own. I swallowed heavily as his hot breath left tingles in their wake, sending and unknown sensation to rip down my spine. He then began to lean closer to my lips, only to move quickly and kiss my forehead before pulling away with a smirk plastered into his soft lips.

" Eat, you need your strength." He spoke as I now saw the tray had been placed on my lap. The square plate had what looked to be a mini roast dinner. There was a few slices of beef with a Yorkshire pudding and some vegetables. A small gravy boat sat next to it and cutlery along with a glass of water and another of what looked to be apple juice. I picked up the knife and fork and began eating away at the beef.

" Are you not eating as well?" I asked Val as I swallowed down my food.

" I already eat in my office." Val said as I just nodded, slightly upset he had already ate without me.

" But don't worry. I managed to get all my work up-to-date so tonight, it will be just me and you." Val started as I smiled at the thought. Finally, my mate and I would spend sometime together. I continued to eat away at my food when Val's phone began to ring. He picked it up and looked to me as he spoke.

" Hello?... What? I thought he was handling it?... Yes I know, but she has to be somewhere... I have already done my part in trying to find her... They have?... Right, very well... Bye." He said and hung up the phone. By this time I had finished my meal and juice and was currently looking at him with an interested look.

" Who was that and what was it about?" I asked him as he sighed and ran his fingers through his hair.

" That was my good friend in the council. All the Alpha's are currently looking for a she-wolf. By order of the council, she has to be found." Val informed me as he sighed again.

" What has she done? Has she committed a crime?" I asked him as he shook his head.

" No, quite the opposite actually. She is the Mother Luna. She can be Identified by a small marking of crescent moon most like a birth mark. Only the mother Luna holds the mark, when she finds her mate, he will be the Father Alpha." He continued to explain.

" So whats the difference between the Mother Luna and a Luna?" I asked him confused to the difference.

" The Mother and Father are like the King and Queen. Only the Luna in a way has more authority than the Alpha." He said and I just nodded understanding. I subconsciously began to rub my wrists.

"Why is it so urgent for them to find her?" I asked a strange felling started to bubble inside of me.

" Because, the council recently received a threat. Jared, the king of the vampires has sworn to kill off the Mother Luna. If that happens the werewolf population with decrease to nothing." Val began. " But it also seems he has rouges working on his side as well, which makes everything the much harder."

" Valentino..." I whispered as I moved the tray and crawled over to him. I then placed my legs either side of him and sat down on his lap facing him. Val's hands instantly moved to my hips and rubbed small circles with his thumbs. " I can see this is stressing you out. You look tired and exhausted so why don't you take the night off and sleep. You can go back to work tomorrow."

" I might just take you up on that." Val smirked as I just shook my head. It was only then that I realised how intimate this position was as we stared at each other. Before I could even comprehend what was happening, his soft lips were on my own. His lips were blissful against my own and ignited a whole world of euphoria within me. His mouth opened for his lips to run over my own with his tongue wanting to deepen the kiss. I was too addicted to him to refuse, he was my new drug. And I wanted more as my hands lifted up to his jet black hand and entangled themselves in it. His large strong hand smoothed up my spine sending waves of pleasure through me as he pulled me closer to his firm body.

" Echo..." Val whispered in a seductive voice as he pulled away from their heated kiss. "We have to stop, or I won't." He whispered only millimeters away from my lips.

" I never said stop." I whispered back to caught up in my raging hormones as Valentino let out a growl which shook me down to the very core. Valentino grabbed hold of my waist and pinned me onto the bed underneath him as his mouth started to attack my neck and showing collar bone. His body weighting down on me just enough so to pin me down but not enough to hurt me. He began to kiss my lips once more and one of his hands moved to lift my shirt upwards.

" Alpha Valentino! There is a guest in your office." A voice called from the door causing Val to growl so furiously.

" Inform him I will not be seeing any visitors until tomorrow morning." Val called back and went to go back to kiss me.

" But Alpha, he says its urgent and about the Mother Luna." He insisted as Val sighed and looked down at me. I could only nodded to him and kiss his lips before pushing him to the door. I watched as he went away and once I was sure he was down the hall at least I stood up and walked to the bathroom.

" All these years." I whispered as I stopped at the mirror ad looked at myself.

" I thought it was just a mark." I whispered as I lifted up my top to look at the black crescent moon with the gap facing upwards. It was just in the indent of my collar bone.

" All this time and I am the Mother Luna."
