While taking a walk through town, you went to a comic book store to look at what recently came out. While there, you heard something in the back and went to check it out.

You saw a strange container and pushed a button, revealing a beautiful, unconscious girl with pale skin and long silver hair lying in it.

"Who is she?" you wondered. "Why is she in this thing?"

There was an image of the girl smiling playing in your mind. Worried that you might be caught with her, you carried her on your back and took her home.

"Mom, Dad, I found this girl lying down in this container in the back of the comic book store, and I was wondering if you would help me find her way back home."

Your parents showed concern for you finding this girl in an alleyway, so they helped you clean up the living room and set her down on the couch. A few hours later, the girl woke up.

"Where am I?" she asked.

"It's okay, you've been unconscious for a few hours. You're at my house. My mom and dad helped take care of you."

"Who are you?... Wait... who am I?"

"My name is Y/N. Do you remember anything before now?"

"Just this name that keeps echoing in my head: Elizabeth."

"Then, for the time being, that's your name. It's really nice."

She blushed upon seeing an image of yourself in her mind.

Elizabeth: "Thanks, Y/N."

"I don't remember about my past either. I was adopted a few years ago, but that's all I can remember. Mom and Dad said you can stay here for now."

Elizabeth: "I don't want to bother you."

"It's okay. Mom and Dad love guests. Well... when they're not being a nuisance."

Elizabeth: "Something in my heart tells me I know what you mean. Are you and your parents really sure I can stay here?"

"Absolutely. Besides, it wouldn't be nice to leave you on the streets."

Elizabeth: "Thank you."

"Your bedroom is next to mine. Let me show you."

Elizabeth followed you to her new room.

"It was my older sister's, but she's in Indianapolis, so she won't mind you using her room and clothes."

Elizabeth: "She sounds nice."

"She is. One more thing: We are currently in a town called Hawkins. Indiana is the city closest to here."

Elizabeth: "I don't remember anything, so I believe what you say."

"Just don't take everything you hear seriously. I learned that the hard way."

Elizabeth gave out a nervous chuckle.

Elizabeth: "Thanks for sparing me a future incident."

"No worries. I know you just woke up, but get some sleep. I want to show you around. And don't worry, there's not a lot of people living in this town."

Elizabeth: "Sounds great. See you in the morning."

"Same. Good night, Elizabeth."

Elizabeth: "Good night."

You went to your room and lie down on your bed.

"Elizabeth. I feel like I know you, but I don't remember," you thought to yourself. "I guess I'll find out soon enough. I feel like this is some kind of destiny."

You closed your eyes and fell asleep.
