In the midst of taking a test, Elizabeth shook Viola awake and she went back to answering her questions. After thirty minutes, you all finished and turned in your tests. School soon ended for the day, and everyone headed for home while you, Elizabeth and Viola walked together through the streets of Indianapolis.

"Hard to believe it's been a year since all the crazy stuff happened," you said.

Elizabeth: "Still sad that Hawkins has been wrecked from our fight with Invictus."

Viola: "And Vecna is still on the loose and prepared to do God knows what in God knows where."

Elizabeth: "Well, we'll cross that bridge when we get there. For now, we have a whole summer ahead of us."

Viola: "Seriously, school has been a massive pain."

"It'd be less of a pain if you did your homework on time."

Viola: "Whatever. By the way, have you two heard from Gelda and Whatshisface?"

"Zeldris? No, we haven't heard from them."

Elizabeth: "They came to Hawkins to investigate the energy that Vecna and Invictus were creating. Now that it's been resolved, they probably returned to the Demon Realm."

Viola: "The Demon Realm sounds awesome. Think I can go there with you guys?"

"The Demon Realm is inhospitable to normal humans. I don't think you'd survive there."

Viola: "Maybe you're right."

Viola went home, and so do you and Elizabeth. You went to your room and opened up a scrapbook with pictures of when Zeldris and Gelda were with you two.

"I know it sucks that they went back home, but at least we can truly be together."

Elizabeth: "Yeah."

The two of you then received a text from an unknown number. It read, "Only when Vecna is dead can Invictus truly die".

"Who is this?" you asked. "How'd they get our numbers?"

Elizabeth: "I don't know."

An hour later, you ate dinner at a restaurant, wondering about what you might face next.

Elizabeth: "So Invictus isn't gone for good. He's tied to Vecna. I have a feeling he'll bring him back."

"Whatever we do, we do it together," you said, holding her hand.

Elizabeth: "You're right."

You and Elizabeth kissed and returned home.
