Chapter Three: Home
It has been a couple of minutes after he woke up and he didn't know where he was. Which didn't stop him from stressing over escaping mainly because he didn't know what they wanted from him. Or who brought him here? He heard tales of people going missing in the forest and he hoped that he would see his friends and Pop Pop again. When suddenly:
KNOCK KNOCK
Lincoln turned his head to see the door opening just enough to give him a glimpse of a pale hand covered with some sort of dirt. As the door continued to open..he also saw a white dress and shoulder length white hair.
Good morning
The mysterious woman said. Lincoln was surprised to say the least because he thought that the woman would treat him harshly, but instead she treated him warmly.
(I don't own the picture it belongs to it's owner also what do you think of her?)
"G..Good morning." Lincoln said.
I brought you some breakfast.
"Thank you..Miss?" Lincoln asked as the woman smiled and said:
Blair
Lincoln wondered where he heard that name before. He was sure that he heard about her from Lucy, but he didn't know if she was just a woman that she knows or if she was one of the supernatural. As he started to eat the food that she brought, he didn't see the smile on her face that turned malicious.
Hope you're enjoying yourself Lincoln because this will be your new home...
Forever!!!
Meanwhile Harriet was watching over the rest of the family with great disappointment on her face. She wondered why they allowed themselves to constantly blame their son for the littlest of things. Don't get her wrong, Lincoln was far from perfect...but that didn't mean that he deserved to be treated like a pariah in his own house.
Speaking of which...
She tried to figure out where her great nephew went and hoped that he never went into the forest. A forest that held danger and forces that were too much for her to handle.
Lincoln, I hope that you're safe.
Harriet thought as she watched the family cry about everything that they did wrong to him. Sighing...she couldn't believe that one of the worst things that they could possibly do helped open their eyes wide open.
A feeling that was shared among the rest of the ancestors who were discussing whether to stick with the disgraceful descendants or cutting their ties. A decision that would make or break the family when they all arrive in the afterlife when their time to over. Never knowing that her great nephew was with someone who will never let him go...
No matter what it takes.
Hope you enjoyed the chapter...Bye 👋
