91). Once More to Hogwarts

Y/N POV

It's been a few days since we've returned from France, and soon enough August came around. We were due to visit Monica and Wendell as they wanted to know how we've been and to see their granddaughter. Besides that, Anne and I had spent so much time together and she had spent time with Hermione too.

I taught her some things that I knew about like the things I made, and she was very interested in them. I had also taught her archery and had practiced Quidditch with her too since she wanted to practice for her games. In One-on-One, she would always come on top. I was so proud of her.

"How many points was that?" Anne asked as we returned to the ground.

"Too many that I lost count," I joked and put my arm around her neck as she leaned her head against my chest. "Have I told you how talented you are, pup?"

"Not that I think of, no," Anne said.

"Well, you are absolutely brilliant," I smiled and kissed her forehead. "I'm so damn proud of you and I know you're going to do great things."

Anne smiled and hugged me tightly. I just loved being her father, she was so precious and near and dear to my heart. Along with spending time with me, she enjoyed spending time with her mum. One night, when we were having Movie Night, Anne had fallen asleep on Hermione, and soon after Hermione would be sound asleep as well, while her arms were wrapped around her and her head was resting on Anne's. Hermione is one protective mama, I tell ya.

But today, I woke up quite early today, it was a habit I was trying, but I didn't want to leave the comfort of my shared bed with Hermione. We were still trying to get pregnant, so we had an eventful and pleasurable night along with a silencing charm. I was shirtless, while Hermione was in her nightdress, blissfully asleep, and had enjoyed the activities from last night.

And speaking of my wonderful, beautiful wife, she looked happy in her sleep, glad I was there with her.

"Morning, Love," I whispered into her ear as she unknowingly smiled. and slowly opened her eyes.

"Morning, you." She smiled and pulled me in to kiss her. "What are you doing up so early, mister? Loved what happened last night, by the way. That was really good..."

"Oh, you know, thought I'd do some things, make sure everything's all right," I said as I was over her. "And give my wife a good morning kiss."

"Well, thank you for that, husband." Hermione teased back and kissed me. "You can't sleep in?"

"Sorry, but I do have to be ready for the day," I said as I cupped her cheeks. "But on the weekends, there will be no excuse for me to not sleep in. I love you so much, baby." I kissed her a couple of times before placing a few on her neck.

"You're lucky you're handsome." Hermione pouted. "I love you more."

"Oh, and I'll make breakfast too!" I said before leaving the room, making Hermione grin before falling back asleep. Before I went for a walk, I decided to check on Lana, Harry, and Anne in their rooms. Lana was asleep as well, but Harry was up and at it, just like I was.

Anne was in her room, asleep in her bed. I made it a habit to check up on her every morning and night, just to see if she was okay if she needed anything. I know she's 15, but the overprotective father in me always wants to know if my sweet, kind daughter is all right. After seeing that Anne was okay, I softly pecked her forehead and brushed her hair. After which I started on my run.

30 minutes in, I was feeling the burn. I was about to start walking for a while, but a whimper caught my attention due to the Wolf-like hearing I had as an Animagus. Whatever it was, it sounded hurt and scared. I traced the whimper to a bush nearby, and I slowly reached through the bushes to find the most unlikely thing.

A puppy.

It was whimpering because he hurt his leg and could barely move. I felt bad for the puppy, and I carefully took him in my hands and brushed his fur.

"Hey, buddy..." I cooed softly to the puppy. "You okay? What happened?" The puppy continued to whimper as he spoke in my head.

'I escaped from the pound,' The puppy said mentally. 'The door was loose and I took my chance, but I hurt my leg, and then I came here...'

"Aw, it'll be okay," I said softly. "I have some supplies at home, I can try to fix that leg." I picked him up and carried him to the kitchen, where I remembered we had a first-aid kit and some bandages around that should fix the leg. "Do you have a name?" I asked the puppy as I got to work on his leg.

'No, I never had one.' The puppy said. 'I wish I had one...'

"Oh, well, let me try to come up with one for you," I said. "Rover? No, that's too classic... Rex? No, too unfitting..."

'What's this?' The puppy asked as he looked towards a can of peanut butter. 'Looks yummy...'

"That's it!" I said. "I know what your name will be. Peanut Butter!"

The puppy barked happily and wagged his tail. "You like that, huh?" I asked. "Cause I'll call you that from now on."

"Y/N?" Hermione asked from behind me. "Who are you talking to?" I quickly turned around as Hermione now had a good look at Peanut Butter, whose leg had been fixed to the best of my ability, as well as given some magical healing properties to heal it faster.

"Aww!" Hermione cooed as she walked to Peanut Butter and picked him up. "Aren't you the cutest thing? Yes, you are! Yes, you are!" She turned to me and asked, "Where'd you find him?"

"In a bush near the manor," I answered. "He was badly hurt at the leg, and I helped heal him. And his name is now Peanut Butter, cause that's the first thing that came to my mind."

"Well, do we have everything to take care of a puppy?" Hermione asked me curiously. "Because they have lots of responsibilities like baths and training, making sure they can live in a home..." She drifted off and her tone got softer and a little babyish as she kept talking to Peanut Butter. "And cuddles, and tickles and little kisses in between his ears!"

'I like her...' Peanut said in my head and licked Hermione's cheek.

"Well, he likes you." I smiled as she chuckled and giggled. "Doesn't he remind you of how we took care of Snuffles?"

"Is that a puppy?" Anne asked as she came down the stairs. "Aw, he looks so adorable..."

"Seems like everyone finds him adorable," I smiled.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A couple of days later, Peanut Butter was fully healed and up and at it, and had won Anne's heart, since she would teach the puppy some tricks like "Sit" or "Stand" or "Give Paw". Right now, she was teaching him to shake her hand. Peanut Butter was actually a very good listener.

"Okay, Peanut Butter, sit!" Anne said, and Peanut Butter sat down while wagging his tail. "Stand!" She continued and Peanut Butter did his action. "And shake?" She asked and Peanut took his paw and placed it in her hand.

"Good boy!" Anne cooed and gave him a treat. "Who's a good boy?" She said while giggling as Peanut Butter licked her. "Peanut's a good boy!" I sat down next to her as Peanut Butter climbed into Anne's lap. "You really like him, don't you?" I asked her as she leaned on my shoulder while stroking Peanut Butter's fur.

"Oh, yes, he's so adorable," Anne said as she hugged Peanut in her arms. "Aren't you, Peanut?" She said as she kissed his head.

"Well, your mum and I did get to go to a Muggle pet store," I said as I pulled out something. "And we can officially bring him into the family." I pulled out a collar with the tag, "Peanut Butter" and carefully put it around his neck. "How's that feel, buddy?" I asked. "Not too tight, right?"

Peanut barked happily and licked me as I chuckled. "Good boy, Peanut," I smiled and nuzzled his head. Peanut was actually quite tame to the cats in the house, Snowball liked him, Crookshank was still getting used to him, and Patch didn't mind him. In fact, they would climb on Peanut and stay on his back

Hermione adored the puppy so much, and she always brushed his fur and played with him. Lana adored him too, and she even picked out some dog treats. Hermione even though we should bring Peanut Butter to Monica and Wendell.

The day eventually came that we were going to visit and luckily, I had passed a Muggle Driving exam, so I was legally allowed to drive and I had purchased a car, a 1999 Volkswagen Phaeton. And like Mr. Weasley, I had put my own kind of enchantments on it. Lana and Harry came along to join us, so there was more than a welcome conversation on the drive there.

And before I put the enchantments, I asked Hermione which ones were safe enough before I did. I didn't want to make this the Weasley's old Ford Anglia, that somehow developed a mind of its own. Where the hell did that fucking car go anyway?

Anyways, I made the enchantments necessary, such as expanded storage, an invisibility booster, no flight, I didn't want Muggles to see it in the air and freak the hell out. But anyways, the 1-hour drive was nice as we all made a nice conversation. Peanut Butter had come with us and made Anne and Lana quite happy, while Harry just pets the dog.

Eventually, we arrived in Hampstead at the Grangers' home, where Monica and Wendell greeted us with open arms.

"Y/N! Hermione!" Monica cried as she saw us at the doorway and hugged us. "So good to see you all again!" She saw Anne as well coming from behind and smiled widely as she took her in a hug. "And how is my favorite granddaughter!" Monica said as she tightly hugged Anne.

"I'm good, Grandma Monica," Anne wheezed as she hugged back. "But I-- need to-- to breathe!"

"Oh, sorry about that," Monica chuckled and released her. "I'm just so happy to see you all again."

"Good to see you too, Mum," Hermione smiled. "And Anne is your only granddaughter."

"I know, sweetheart," Monica smiled. "But your father and I expect to have more grandbabies, and they'll all be my favorites." Peanut had followed behind Anne and barked playfully as Monica's eyes trailed down onto the puppy and awed as she saw him.

"And who is this new fluffy friend?" Monica cooed and brushed Peanut's fur, as he wagged his tongue and tail. Peanut then proceeded to lick Monica as she chuckled and held him up. "Aren't you the sweetest puppy?"

"Oh, this is Peanut Butter," Anne said as Monica handed Peanut back to her. "He's our puppy, we adopted him just recently. We call him Peanut for short, and he knows tons of tricks. And he's so cute, aren't you, Peanut?"

"Oh, please, do come in!" Monica happily ushered us in. "Hermione, your father's out at work, he'll be back soon. He'll be so happy you're here!" After she welcomed us in, she had grabbed some tea as we sat down, and Anne had told Peanut to sit, to which he listened.

"Oh, do tell how France was!" Monica said as she came back and handed us our tea.

"Oh, it was wonderful, Mum," Hermione smiled and looked at me. "We did so many things, Y/N took loads of pictures."

"It was very lovely, Monica," I assured her. "Hermione and I enjoyed ourselves."

"Oh, Y/N, you don't have to call me Monica all the time," Monica smiled. "I'm your mother-in-law now, there's no shame in calling me, Mum. I have absolutely no problem with that, or if Hermione chooses to call Addison Mum either."

"And Anne, I love what you've done with your hair!" Monica admired as Anne was looking at the mantle of the fireplace. It was her first time at her mother's old home, so she was curious. "I suppose your godmother and you had fun together, yes?"

"Oh, of course," Anne smiled and looked in Lana's direction. "Aunt Lana's very supportive of me, just like Mum and Dad." She looked over the mantle and saw the pictures. "These were all Mum?"

"Oh, yes, when she was a child," Monica said. "She was so adorable as a child."

"She really was," Anne said as she removed one of the photos from the mantle. "Mum, this was from your seventh birthday?"

Hermione smiled as she got up and began to tell Anne about all the photos. It was a good thing I returned the photo I took before the Horcrux hunt back to my in-laws when we found them in New York. I still had to tell Wendell about the extended family. Lana and Harry were looking around while Hermione went to talk with her mother. So I took Anne to Hermione's old room, where we would spend time together when we were dating.

It was like she left it. Bookshelves now empty because her books were in our room, her bed was made, and still as it was before. "Whoa..." Anne said. "This was like my room in the orphanage. Although I didn't have that many bookshelves."

I chuckled. "Well, I came here for the first time before our 4th year," I explained. "I had to ask your grandparents if I was allowed to visit because Snuffles loved Hermione and I, and of course, we didn't live together."

"On those nights when I visited, your mum and I would always do something," I went on. "We watched some Muggle Movies, we talked late in the night, loads of stuff, and we weren't together at the time either. But I enjoyed every moment with her."

"You know, Dad," Anne said. "It's going to be a little weird at Hogwarts this year."

"Really?" I asked. "How come?"

"Well, you know..." Anne said again. "It's going to be the first year I'll be at Hogwarts without you both. I mean, there is the time with how you were on that hunt."

"Oh, honey," I said as I placed my hand on her shoulder. "You won't be alone if you're worried about that. You have your friends, like Jason, he's your best friend, right? And not to mention, your grandmother is the headmistress! But if you ever miss us, please, feel free to write to us. Your mum and I would appreciate it so much."

Anne smiled and hugged me tightly around my waist as she pressed her head against my chest as I returned it and rested my head on hers.

"I'm so proud of you," I whispered just for her to hear and kissed the top of her head. She hugged me harder as she muttered softly, "I love you, Dad."

"I love you too, Pup," I smiled at her. "We all love you so much."

"Oh, am I interrupting anything?" We heard Hermione behind us, whilst smiling. "This is purely adorable here, seeing my husband and daughter like this." She remarked as she kissed me on the lips and then kissed Anne's forehead. "Don't you both want to come downstairs? Dad's home, and we're going to have dinner."

Lana POV

"Hello, Monica, dear," Wendell said as he came in without noticing me or Harry inside just yet. "There is quite a fancy car outside, were we expecting anyone or-" He cut off as he caught his eye on me and Harry as we politely waved at him.

"Oh, hello, Lana! Harry, good to see you again!" Wendell greeted us as he shook our hands in a friendly manner. "I suppose the vehicle outside belongs to Y/N, then?"

"Oh, yeah, that's his," Harry replied. "He recently took a Muggle Driving test and passed it too. I wonder how he did..."

"And if you're wondering Harry, I studied for it," Y/N smirked as he came down the stairs. "I always do, I didn't confound the examiner."

"I really hope you didn't, Love," Hermione added and pecked his cheek.

Wendell smiled as he saw Y/N and Hermione, and went in to hug them. After which, he had seen Anne, who had hugged him as well. "And how is my granddaughter doing?" He asked her. "And with blonde hair?"

"Hello again, Grandpa Wendell," Anne greeted him with a hug. "And yes, I dyed my hair with highlights, Aunt Lana helped me with that."

"Oh, enough chitter-chatter," Monica said as she came back from the kitchen. "Dinner is ready! Come on, we'll talk at the dinner table."

"Oh, would you like any help with that, Mum?" Y/N asked Monica, who smiled brightly. "Oh, thank you for the offer, Y/N, but I'll be okay with everything."

"Oh, but I insist," Y/N said. "I do get to help my mother-in-law, yes?"

"Oh, that is very sweet of you, dear," Monica smiled. "Come on, then! And maybe you could tell me some things about what you and our daughter are planning?"

Monica pulled Y/N with her as they began to set the table, while we sat at the table. "So, Harry, Lana..." Wendell asked the two of us. "How is everything with Ginny and Ron? Did I get the names right?"

"Oh, you got them right, sir," Harry responded. "Things with Ginny are great, she's always worried when I'm out on Auror duties. Like how Lana's worried about Ron."

"Oh, but Ron does make time for us," I said to Wendell. "He has changed a lot since Hogwarts. He always has time for dates and birthdays."

"That's very good!" Wendell cheered. "And Hermione? How have things been with you married?" He smiled as Hermione did, rubbing Anne's palm, and looked back.

"Everything's been great, Dad!" Hermione smiled. "I love waking up every morning to see my husband, and we have recently adopted a puppy!"

"A puppy?" Wendell asked as Peanut Butter leaped into Anne's lap and looked at Wendell. "Well, isn't he adorable!" Wendell gasped. "And what is his name?"

"His name is Peanut Butter," Anne explained as she brushed Peanut's fur. "But we all call him Peanut for short. Dad found him with a broken leg, and he helped fix it up. After that, we took him in, and we adopted him. And he is the cutest little puppy, aren't you, Peanut?"

Peanut licked her as she giggled, making Wendell smile. And at that moment, Monica and Y/N had come in with dishes of food. "Oh, thank you very much, Y/N," Monica thanked him. "That was very sweet of you to help."

"No worries, Mum," Y/N said as they both sat down. Soon enough, we all began to eat the food Monica so thankfully prepared for us, while making some conversation.

"So what is happening now?" Monica asked us. "You all have graduated from Hogwarts, and Anne is going for her fourth year now, so...?"

"Y/N and Lana are going to have Auror training by one of the Ministry's top Aurors," Harry replied. "They'll help with the ongoing investigation with the New Death Eaters."

"But, at least nothing drastic has happened," I said. "We both start after Anne goes back to Hogwarts, so we have enough time together."

"And what about you, Hermione?" Wendell asked.

"I have been recommended to work with the Minister of Magic himself, Kingsley Shacklebolt," Hermione gladly answered. "We've known him from the order of the Phoenix, he's also the one who recommended Y/N and Lana into the Auror Office."

Monica looked very excited for her daughter to be working so high up in the Magical World, as did Wendell. "Well, as busy as you may be," Wendell said. "Please do find time to visit. And you, Anne, honey?"

"Well, I'm going back to Hogwarts, so that's there," Anne said. "We'll go to Diagon Alley soon to get everything, and I am pretty excited, despite the other things. I know Mum and Dad will be fine." From the corner of my eye, I could see Y/N placed his hand on hers and softly brushed it.

"Oh, what about your friend!" Monica exclaimed. "What was his name again... I truly can't remember..."

"I think it was Jason, dear," Wendell answered.

"Yes! That's it, how is everything with him?" Monica asked. "He sounds like a very nice boy. He better treat you right, dear."

Anne blushed a little, as I softly smiled at her in a teasing manner. "Oh, Grandma, Jason is just my best friend..." Anne said with a shy smile.

Hermione and Y/N looked to each other and chuckled a little. Harry had as well, making Anne giggle a little as well.

"Are you sure, Anne?" Harry teased.

"Yes, Uncle Harry," Anne answered, as innocent as she was. "He is my best friend."

"Sure..." He smirked. "We'll see soon enough..."

We had continued to talk through dinner and soon enough, we were famished and ready to go home. Before we left, Monica and Wendell had gifted Anne something and gave us all good wishes on our way home.

On the way back home, Anne and Peanut had fallen asleep, and Anne laid right in my lap as I brushed her hair. Peanut was on Anne's chest, resting himself while I rubbed the bottom of his jaw. Peanut was so adorable as he cuddled up to Anne. They were resting like that until we got home, where I carefully shook her awake and rubbed Peanut. As the puppy woke up, he made a doggish smile and licked me, making me giggle.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A couple of weeks later, we visited Diagon Alley to get some of the materials Anne needed for her fourth year. We grabbed some new quills, some fresh ink, along with visiting Axel, Nick, and Ashley at the Library. We had also stopped by at the Three Broomsticks to grab some food. It was always nice to grab some Butterbeer here.

Before the day of September 1st, Y/N, Hermione, and I were helping her get ready for Hogwarts. She had her clothes ready, as well as some things for Peanut since he was going with her, (Mum allowed for any reasonable pet to be taken at Hogwarts). As I was helping Anne pack her books, Y/N came in to see how it was going.

"Are you ready for tomorrow?" Y/N kindly asked Anne as I smiled at the father and daughter.

"As ready as I can be," Anne answered. "I'm glad I could take Peanut and Snuffles with me." Snuffles was always happy to see Hogwarts, and Anne adored the Niffler, much like we do. At that moment, Snuffles was laying down on Peanut's head, and Peanut looked comfortable.

"Well, I thought about something," Y/N said as he sat down. "And I think you should have this." He pulled out something and placed it on the bed. "I thought you would like it, it was a gift from our uncle Sirius." What he had given her was the leather jacket Sirius had gotten for us on our 15th birthday.

"Who was Sirius?" Anne asked innocently. Y/N and I looked at each other, with a small, but the sad smile on our faces. "Well..." Y/N began. "Sirius Black was Harry's dad's best friend, and Harry's godfather. He was your grandmother's cousin."

"Around the time Harry's parents died, Sirius sought out the traitor, Peter Pettigrew, to kill him, but it backfired and Sirius was put in Azkaban without trial," I explained. "But Sirius escaped, and we helped him after we learned the truth. Sadly... we only got to know him for a short two years."

"Oh no..." Anne said softly. "What happened to him?"

"He was killed in the Department of Mysteries," Y/N explained. "One of the best uncles we've had. Very supportive of us and Harry."

"And he would like you a lot if you got to meet him," I said to her as I patted her back.

"He was an Animagus like us, you know," Y/N told her. "He was a great big dog, and he was called Padfoot. Uncle James went by Prongs, Remus was a werewolf, as you know, your grandfather was a wolf like us, and Pettigrew..." He said with distaste in his voice. "He was a bloody rat named Wormtail."

"Wait, wait, wait, hang on," Anne said as she raised her hands. "Peter was a rat animagus?"

"Yes, he was," I answered.

"And he betrayed Grand-uncle James and Grand-Aunt Lily?" She asked again.
"Yep, real bastard, he was," Y/N said. "Surprised no-one even checked if he had the Dark Mark."

"So He was a rat animagus," Anne repeated. "And he literally ratted out James and Lily? How did no one see that coming?"

Now, this had me and Y/N looking at each other. How did they not see that coming?

"Answers to questions we may never know, sweetheart," Y/N said. "But here, take this," He said as he handed the jacket to her. "I think you'll like it. Maybe pair it with a hoodie?"

Anne gladly took it from him and looked back at him. "Thanks, Dad," She said to him, which brought a smile on both their faces. "I'll keep that in mind."

"Always, sweetheart," Y/N smiled as he kissed her forehead and brought her closer to him while Anne wrapped her arms around his torso. "I love you so much, pup. Now, you finish packing and then get some sleep! Big day tomorrow!"

"Love you too, Dad," Anne smiled at him before Y/N looked back and smiled at her.

"So, are you excited?" I asked as I tickled Peanut. "Well, I was nervous at first," Anne began. "But Dad told me that I wouldn't be alone, since I have Grandma, Jason, Peanut, Snuffles."

"Yeah, You may even have your own group like we have," I joked with her. "Your own Golden Trio, Quartet, Quintet, however many." We both laughed a little and finished packing her trunk. "Hey, Anne? Could you promise me something?" I asked her before I left her room.

"Oh, sure, what is it, Aunt Lana?" Anne asked as she put everything away for the next day.

"Take care of yourself for me, okay?" I asked softly. "And do write! I'd love to get some letters from my goddaughter."

"Course I will, both of those," Anne said as she hugged me. "I'd miss my godmother as well as my parents." I pecked her head and whispered, "Love you, mon agne."

"Love you too, Lana," Anne whispered to me. "Good night!"

"Good night, honey."

Hermione POV

The day had come and September 1st was upon us. Y/N and I were happy that Anne would have a family to properly see her off but sad that we wouldn't see her until December. But Anne had told us that she would write to us twice weekly, and she would still have family there with Addison and Professor McGonagall.

Ron couldn't make it to see Ginny due to them being called into the Ministry, but he had given their best wishes to Anne. However, Lana had joined us in seeing Anne off, after all, she is her godmother. However, Harry was there to see his girlfriend off.

It was a nice drive to King's Cross, and Anne was quite excited. She was going to be President of S.P.E.W, leading after me, (I'm so proud of my daughter) as well as a Teaching assistant in Potions, even for those older than her.

We came around to Platform 9 ¾, ran through the border with Anne and her trolley, and walked onto the Platform. The train wasn't there yet, so we still had time to spend with her. I hope we do get to visit her at Hogwarts, Addison did want Y/N and Harry to speak in DATDA.

Eventually, the scarlet engine arrived, meaning Anne had to leave. And to be really honest, I was feeling so emotional. Before Anne boarded, I quickly hugged her tight in my arms and kissed her head. "Mum..." Anne groaned a little, but still hugged me back.

"Oh, I'm going to miss you so much..." I said to her.

"I'll miss you too, Mum," Anne said. "Don't worry, I'll write."

"Oh, please do, honey," I chuckled as Anne went to hug Y/N and Lana.

"Stay safe for me, okay, pup?" Y/N asked her. "And take care of Snuffles and Peanut, okay?"

"Yes, Dad, as long as Snuffles here..." She pointed at Snuffles, who now was perched on her shoulder. "Doesn't stir up trouble. You won't cause trouble, will you, Snuffles?" Anne asked the Niffler, who chirped in reply.

"Just give him shiny, and he'll be okay," Y/N said. "Right, buddy?" Snuffles chirped at him and he smiled. "He says he will try his best. Your mother and I love you, Anne."

"I love you both too," Anne smiled and pecked his cheek.

"Don't forget me!" Lana joked as Anne smiled and ran to hug her. "Remember our promise, okay?"

"Yep," Anne giggled. "Oh, I do have to go now, the train is boarding! I'll see you all soon! Love you all!"

"See you soon, kiddo," Lana smiled and kissed her forehead. "Love you too!"

Anne smiled and boarded the train, waving to us as the train soon started moving, I felt my eyes tear up as Y/N noticed and wiped them away while placing a kiss on my lips.

"I promised myself I wouldn't cry," I whispered while giggling. Y/N just smiled and pulled me closer to him. "I know, Love," He whispered to him. "I'm just happy Anne has us as her family, I'm so proud of her."

"Imagine in the future," Y/N whispered. "We get to see all of our kids off. We'd see Teddy off, we'd see Alya off, then eventually all of our kids. We'd be proud of them all."

"We still have work to do, Y/N," I whispered in his ear while smirking as we passed through the border.

"Oh, I know, baby," He smirked back. "We might need that charm again..."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Back home, we were in bed, resting after another pleasurable session. I do need to get some Muggle pregnancy tests soon enough but in due time. I just wanted to spend time with my husband here.

We were at it for a while, not sure how long but it was past 12 P.M. I was cuddling next to Y/N, as I brushed his arm and rested my head on his chest. He lifted my head up to his and passionately kissed me on my lips, as I laughed and kissed back.

I rolled on my back as Y/N rolled on top of me with a giggle as he kissed me from my lips down my body while grabbing my thigh. He reached back up and kissed my neck. "Oh, baby..." I moaned as he continued to kiss my neck down to my shoulder blade.

"How was it?" He whispered to me as he looked at me face-to-face and pressed his forehead against mine. "Incredible as always, Love," I managed to say before he kissed me again. "Mmmmmmm," I moaned through the kiss. "I loved it..."

We separated for a moment, but he couldn't keep his eyes off me. "I love you so much, baby," Y/N whispered as it brought a smile to my face. "I love you more," I whispered back and nuzzled my nose with his.

"How long has it been?" Y/N said as he got up and checked the clock. "Well... past 1... damn." Lana must still be out, she said she was going to pick up some groceries while checking on the Weasleys at the Burrow. Y/N slipped out of bed and began to put on some clothes, while I sat up and covered my naked body with the sheets.

"I'll make us something to eat," He said as he looked back at me. "Any preference, Love?"

"I'm fine with whatever you make, sweetheart," I smiled at him as he finished clothing himself. "I'll lay here for a while, just need to rest a moment, as it may have been amazing, I am exhausted."

"That's fine," He pecked my lips. "Anyways, I'll get to cooking." He smiled at me and left the room. I laid back in bed, thinking about how it would be to raise Alya, it would be amazing.

Y/N and I would sing lullabies to her when she'd wake up in the middle of the night.

We would see her first steps, her first words (hopefully Muma or Dada), teach her to read, to write...

Anne playing with her little sister, showing her Snowball, Crookshanks, Snuffles, Patch and Peanut...

Meeting her aunt Lana, her uncles, her family, Mum and Dad, Addison.

I'd bet that Addison would adore her from the moment she'd lay eyes on her.

But it also made me feel a little sad. Y/N's father, Langden, didn't live long enough to see his kids grow up, and now he wouldn't get to see or meet his granddaughters. He never even got to meet his daughter-in-law...

Had things been different, Langden would love his granddaughters, both of them. He'd be just as proud as Addison would be.

After thinking for a while, I decided to get up and put on some pajama bottoms, my bra, and one of Y/N's hoodies. It was basic loungewear, the only thing off was my wedding ring. I never took it off, and neither did Y/N. We've never taken them off, only when we had to sleep or shower. Otherwise, they never came off.

Every time I looked at the ring, I felt like the happiest woman on earth. I had an incredible husband, a brilliant daughter, an amazing best friend for a sister, and an equally amazing family.

After I had my time thinking, I went to find Y/N in the kitchen, where he was up cooking something. I walked up behind him, wrapped my arms carefully around him, hoping not to burn either of us and rested my head on his back.

"Hey, you," I heard him with a big smile on his face. "I'm making us some Italian Roulade."

"Sounds fancy..." I smiled and kissed him. I believe I saw a little red from a hickey I left. "I'm almost about done with the steak, the spaghetti is ready. I'll grab some Butterbeer for us too."

We set the table up and began to have our food. It was almost like we were on a date. We just talked about what would happen and how our lives were going to be. Soon enough, Lana came back home with everything.

"Hey, you lovebirds," She smiled as she stocked up all the things she brought. "Just grabbed some things, some sweets as well, some treats for Peanut, and stopped by to see the Weasleys. How are you both? Oh, and Y/N, thank you for letting me take your car."

"It's no problem, sis," Y/N said. "We're alright, just thinking about everything."

"Yeah, just thinking," I repeated. "Can't wait to see what life brings for us."

Anne POV

As I was waiting for the train to arrive, I was playing with Peanut and continued to teach him some tricks. And just as I was, someone had come into the compartment and I was happy as to who came through.

"Jason!" I smiled as I saw him again. Jason smiled back and I ran to hug him. "It's so good to see you again, how are you!" I cheered as we sat down.

"I've been great, Anne," Jason said, as his eyes were drawn to Peanut Butter. "And who is this?" I pet Peanut as he looked at Jason with confusion. "This is Peanut Butter!" I introduced him. "He's our family puppy, Dad found him near the Manor and helped to heal him. He's been a part of our family since."

"Can-Can I pet him?" Jason asked me as I nodded. He got off his seat and got closer to Peanut to brush his fur, making him purr with joy and lick him. "Aw, he likes you, Jason." I giggled as Peanut continued to lick him.

We spent the train ride talking, until we felt the train stop and we deboarded, I told Peanut to stay with Evie, which he obeyed and I gave him a dog treat with a peck on his head.

Moments later in the Great Hall, we were ready at the tables, awaiting the sorting. Grandma was ready to make her speech and lit the candles in the Hall with a wave of her hand. "Hello, everyone, and welcome! To yet another wonderful year at Hogwarts!" She boomed enthusiastically through the Hall.

"I do hope everyone has had a great summer holiday, and that everyone has enjoyed themselves," Grandma said. "But first, we shall get on with the sorting! Then a few announcements, I will not take too long with those."

The good thing with Grandma, those announcements were never that long, but they were exciting. The Sorting began and first-years walked on nervously to see what house they were sorted into. Reminds me of when I was sorted, and when I met Y/N and Hermione.

All those years ago, I never would have thought that the first two people I met here, would be my loving and amazing family. But what surprised me most was the one now being spoken aloud.

"Nightshade, Cassiopeia!" boomed Professor McGonagall as a girl Jason and my age stood up. This had me very curious, was this the Cassie I heard about?

After the hat muttered a little to Cassiopeia, it finally let out an answer.

"GRYFFINDOR!"

Her robes were now outlined in scarlet red, Gryffindor's colors, and the crest proudly stood on her robes. She smiled to herself as she walked over to the Gryffindor table and began to talk to the others.

"And for our announcements," Grandma announced. "We have two new Professors coming into Hogwarts, and I would like to give my best wishes to Mr. Tomas Rosewood, replacing Horace Slughorn as Head of Slytherin House and Potions Master, along with Daphne Greengrass, replacing Professor Binns as our History of Magic teacher. Good luck, Professor Rosewood and Professor Greengrass."

The two professors stood up as everyone clapped. "Oh, thank Merlin Binns' not the Professor anymore," Jason smiled. "Always put me to sleep..."

"Along with that, we will be having DATDA lectures from some notable people," Grandma smiled. "Our guests will be none other than Hermione Lovegood-Granger, Y/N and Lana Lovegood, Ronald Weasley, and Harry Potter themselves." This earned many cheers from everyone, but someone from the Slytherin side.

Yarrow was glaring and sneering as their names were mentioned, but Jason had seen and began to flip the bird at him. I quickly noticed and put his hand down before anything would happen. "Screw him," Jason said. "He calls you that word again, I'm following Uncle Axel and Aunt Mia's advice."

"And finally, the clubs opened last term will still be open," Grandma said. "Dumbledore's Army will be headed by Professor McGonagall, Ginny Weasley, Luna Lovegood, and Anne Lovegood-Granger. S.P.E.W will also be headed by Anne Lovegood-Granger."

Well, well...

This year was going to be an interesting one for me.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After the feast, we were brought to the Common Room by the new Prefects and then guided to our dorms from there. "Night, Anne," Jason said to me with a smile as Ginny pulled me to our dorm.

"You'd want to unpack," She smirked. "I heard some barking from our things." Oh, that's right, Peanut would be here in my dorm. I walked over to my bed and pulled the curtains to reveal Peanut, wagging his tail happily with Snuffles perched on his head. I smiled and pet them both as I began to unpack. I was busy with that until I heard some chatter in the dorm.

"Excuse me," A voice, evidently American spoke softly. "Who is Anne Lovegood-Granger? I'm new, you see, transferred from Ilvermorny."

"Oh, yes, I... we can tell you!" One of the girls, Josie said. "She's in our year, and she is brilliant!"

"She's the daughter of two heroes from the Battle of Hogwarts!" Alyssa said. "Y/N and Hermione Lovegood!"

"It's Y/N Lovegood and Hermione Lovegood-Granger," Caroline said. "From what I heard, she took his name."

"Anyways, the Headmistress, she's her grandmother!" Josie exclaimed.

"And I heard the last term," Penelope said. "That she invented a potion! On her own, and her friend helped her!"

"Well, what's going on here?" I asked jokingly as I turned my head to them. "You lot are making me sound like the bloody Queen of England!"

"Oh, Anne!" Josie said. "We-we were just telling Cassie here about you! She didn't know about you."

"Oh, that's quite alright, don't worry about it," I said with a laugh. "But please, don't make me out like the Queen, makes me seem all prim and posh."

"Yes, ma'am, your majesty," Maya joked, making all the girls laugh. "Alright, alright!" Ginny laughed. "You'd want to get ready for bed, it's almost lights out."

As the other girls got ready, Cassie came over to me and introduced herself. "Hi, so sorry if I asked others before you," She chuckled. "I'm Cassiopeia, but everyone calls me Cassie."

"Anne," I said as I shook her hand. "Lovely to meet you. I think I've met your dad... Vito, right?"

"Yep, that's my old man," She said with a smile. "Auror for MACUSA, one of the best after Tina Goldstein."

"That's pretty impressive," I admitted. "Oh, and about my parents, if we're sharing, Y/N and Hermione adopted me almost two years ago, but they treat me and love me like their own."

"I heard a little about them from my dad," Cassie smiled. "They sound cool as hell."

I chuckled. "Something tells me we're going to be good friends."
