87). Graduation

Y/N POV

A couple weeks after our parties, the end of our final year had come. And during that time, so much had happened. Anne and I had practiced Quidditch with the team and Gryffindor won the House Cup that year (Hermione was so happy and hugged both of us at the same time), Hermione and I studied with Lana, and of course, helped tutor Anne and Jason at the same time, and as always, spent time with Hermione in our bed together.

Since we were leaving, we had to get ready for the graduation ceremony and our results were due to come in as well. While we waited, we spent time helping Jason and Anne for their exams. The subjects they were tested on were familiar, but a little different. And Vito, the Auror who joined the others, was helping Tina around with the subject with his knowledge as well.

"Cheering Charms?" Hermione asked. "They tested us on the same thing when we were third years! Should be easy!"

"What else do you have for your other classes?" I asked the two of them.

"Well, Professor McGonagall wants us to turn a teapot into a tortoise..." Jason said.

"Professors Hagrid wanted us to keep a Flobberworm alive for an hour," Anne continued. "But Professor Newt talked to him and we're going to try and tame a Hippogriff. Dad, you've tamed one, right? Buckbeak?"

I smiled to myself as I remembered Buckbeak. One proud, beautiful Hippogriff. I still couldn't believe he was gone. After he was killed, we buried him near the Burrow. Hagrid was crying so much when we put him to rest. Jason looked amazed as to why I was happy remembering him.

"Who's Buckbeak?" He asked us.

"Well, he was a Hippogriff." Hermione said with a smile and from behind, put her arms around my neck and put her head on top of mine. "Y/N, Lana, Ron, Harry and I met him in our third year. He was really close to Y/N and Lana, they would speak to him in their heads!"

Jason then looked confused as to how, and looked at me to see if it was true. "Oh, right, I forgot to say," I chuckled for a moment. "My sister and I are Legilimens, we can read minds." Jason continued to look awestruck while Anne just giggled at him.

"Anyways, Buckbeak was wrongfully convicted of attacking someone, when our cousin, Draco, who's being a better person now, provoked him." I continued. "There's a long story to it, but his father wanted Buckbeak to die, but we had saved him."

"And when the time came again, Buckbeak was helping Mum and Dad to get Uncle Harry back to the Burrow." Anne said, since she was there. "But unfortunately... A Death Eater was about to kill Dad and a friend of his, Cedric Diggory, but Buckbeak took the hit for them. They saved his life a long time ago, and he returned the favor and saved them."

"Whoa, he did?" Jason said. "He sounds like an amazing Hippogriff."

"He was." Hermione said. "And he saved my fiancé's life." She added with a kiss on my cheek. "But we can help with what to do."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"So what you want to do is bow before a Hippogriff." I told the two. We were in the Forbidden Forest, where we had met Buckbeak years before. "They're proud creatures, I suppose Newt told you that."

The two nodded as I continued. "We don't have access to a Hippogriff, as that would be considered cheating, but I can give some tips, and I'll be your example as to how you should greet one."

"Wait, how would yo-" Jason asked, but I had already turned into a wolf and looked at the two. Jason continued to look awestruck, while Anne just smiled and brushed my fur.

"How'd he just -- What in -- how the hell... What?" Jason stammered as he watched us.

"My dad's an Animagus." Anne said with a smile. "An Arctic Wolf, to be precise. Trust me, I was amazed when I saw him like that for the first time. Protected Mum and I from Fenrir Greyback." She walked forward and kneeled down to brush my fur a little while I rubbed my head again her hands, making her laugh a little.

"He's an Animagus? That's amazing!"

"You've never met one in America before?" Anne asked.

"No, actually." Jason answered. "Not many there, and some were a part of MACUSA, so I've never met any. Is your mum an Animagus too?"

"No, silly." Anne giggled. "But my grandma Addison is, along with my Aunt Lana as well. My grandpa, Langden, was a wolf animagus like dad. And even if I'm not blood-related to my father, the wolf runs in the family."

"Wait, wha..." Jason asked again, as Anne had turned into a wolf as well. But not being wolflike, I took my paw, and patted her head. Jason just stood there, wide-eyed and amazed at what he saw. Anne purred a little and I nuzzled her head before we both turned back.

"You're both amazing me right now." Jason said with an excited smile.

"Anyways..." I coughed. "You both are going to demonstrate how to greet a Hippogriff. I will be a wolf, so show me what you got." With that, I turned back into a wolf.

Anne approached me slowly and bowed in front of me. I bowed back in return and Anne correctly took it as a sign to reach out and touch my head. She brushed my fur a little more and went to hug me. Anne then stood up and ushered Jason to take his turn.

"A-Alright then..." Jason muttered. "Hope I do this right, Y/N."

He walked up slowly and bowed down. I gave him a while to see if something else would happen, but he still bowed. I walked up on all fours and bowed back, like I did with Anne. Jason had looked up a little and saw I was bowing back and when he thought so, he did the same and placed his hand on the top of my head.

As he removed it, I saw fit to turn back and look at the two of them. "Well, I'd say you're both good to go. Good job, Jason, I was testing you to see how you'd react if that were to happen. Well done, lad."

Jason smiled to himself while Anne patted him on the back. They had decided to go back to the castle, but I wanted to run around for a little, so I turned back into a wolf and ran around the forest.

And eventually, I found the last place I wanted to see.

The place where Voldemort thought he killed Harry.

I remembered the rage Lana and I had when we saw Harry dead. I remembered how Lana poured her heart out to Harry and told him how much she loved being his older sister. In fact, I saw the shattered remains of Yaxley's wand, which I snapped in half. But then I found something else.

A familiar stone with an equally familiar symbol.

"No fucking way." I whispered to myself as I brushed the dirt around and pulled out the Resurrection Stone. I thought this would be lost forever. I was too worried about Hermione, Harry, Lana, Anne and everyone that I didn't think of it.

"How did Harry do it..." I wondered to myself as I unconsciously rolled the stone in my hand and looked around. I put my attention back on the stone and looked at the symbol of the Deathly Hallows.

"BOO!" A voice yelled from behind me as I yelped and turned around on my feet. I didn't expect the cheerful face of Nymphadora Tonks staring back at me.

"I got you, didn't I!" Dora laughed as I smiled at her. "I got you good!"

"Tonks?" I asked her as she walked closer to me and sat down in front of me.

"Now, whatever happened to you calling me, 'Dora?'" Dora chuckled.

"N-Nothing." I laughed. "It's just... Lana and I missed our cousin."

"We miss you all too." Dora said as she went to put her hand on my shoulder, but remembered she couldn't, since she was gone. "But it seems we both became parents, didn't we, huh?"

"I suppose." I answered. "But Teddy is going to grow up without you. Or Remus."

"That may be true." Dora said sadly. "But I know his godfather and his uncles will raise him right. His father and I are gonna watch him, know that. But your daughter..." She chuckled again. "I definitely know you and Hermione have been great parents to her."

"Come on." Dora said as she stood up. "They want to see you too."

Before I could ask, the next face came around as well, this one being Remus Lupin.

"Done well for someone who isn't a professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts, haven't you?" Remus joked.

"Good to see you too, Moony." I said to him. "And what can I say? Learned from the best."

"A bit too violent on Greyback, though?"

"Screw him. He deserved it for turning you. And for savaging loads of people."

"Yeah, Moony." Another familiar voice said. "Greyback was a right piece of shit! Completely deserved it."

"Nice to see you too, Uncle Sirius." I chuckled again as I turned to find the rugged man looking back at me.

"Fancied stepping in my shoes then?" Sirius laughed.

So many other faces to see alongside them, some of the people lost at the Battle of Hogwarts, Albus Dumbledore himself, James Potter, even Buckbeak was there. I may have spent a bit too much time since Lana came searching for me.

And imagine her surprise when she saw the dead there.

Her eyes leaked of tears as she saw everyone she recognized. She talked to them as well, but as time went on, they all collectively gave us some privacy for something else.

"Wait, what do you mean --" Lana asked but all of the spirits had smiled and disappeared except James Potter himself.

"Let's just say..." James' spirit said with a smile. "Some special people want to see you as well." And with that James Potter had disappeared...

And Lily Potter appeared.

(Face-Claim: Karen Gillian as Lily Potter)

"Hello, Y/N, Lana." Lily spoke kindly and softly. "It's so good to see my godchildren again."

"Hi, Aunt Lily." We both said.

"Oh, how I wish I could have seen you both and Harry grow up together!" Lily exclaimed and stepped forward to us. "I suppose your mother's done a better job of raising Harry than my idiot of a brother-in-law. I miss your mother so much... she's told you how close we were at Hogwarts, yes?"

We both nodded with a sad smile on our faces. "She was practically my sister here. I always hated leaving Hogwarts, it always meant Addison would be alone at Hogwarts, and I had to return to my sister who hated me... I begged Professor McGonagall to let me stay in the summer before our last year. It took too long, but she eventually said yes."

"May I tell you both something?" Lily asked as we nodded. "When you both were born, I was with your mother the whole time as well as James. Of course, being your godmother and all. You both were so adorable, I wanted to be such a great aunt to you both. It's a shame I never had the chance, but I thank you. Thank you so much for protecting my son."

"Your father wants to see you now."

And as she said that, Dad appeared right behind her. Smiling at the both of us.

"Hello again." Dad spoke to us. "You both have made me so proud."

"Dad." We said at the same time.

"I suppose you've avenged me?" Dad chuckled. "I wish I could hug you both in my arms but the last time I could, you both were infants. But yet, I feel like I can."

He then turned to me. "Y/N, I've seen my granddaughter." He said kindly. "The time your mother told her about me, I could see her. She's so kind, so caring, so passionate. I can see why you're both so protective of her."

"And Lana." He turned to her. "That Weasley boy better treat you right. Can't be acting like a git all the time."

"Of course, Father." Lana giggled. "Ron's been doing better."

"Now, I know neither Lily or I can stay long..." Dad said as he looked at Lily, who nodded. "And there are two more people who want to see you, so we won't keep them waiting. So I shall try and leave you with this."

And Dad hugged us.

Sure, it wasn't as much a hug since he couldn't touch us.

But it felt like he was there, hugging us.

"I miss you and your mother so much." Dad said.

"Take care of my son and yourselves." Lily added before turning to Dad. "It's time to go back and let them come, Langden."

"Let who come?" I asked, but they had already vanished.

"Hello, my children." A chilling voice said from behind us. A man stood behind us, younger, around his 40s, walked up to us with a fairly beautiful woman by his side. The man wore a blue overcoat with a vest underneath it and his collar covered the sides of his neck. The woman had green eyes and dark hair, while dressed elegantly with a green dress.

The different colored eyes of the man told us all we needed to know.

"Perhaps we can talk a little than we did last, shall we?" Grindelwald asked.

Lana POV

"You're -- you're here?" I asked Grindelwald and Grandma Vinda.

"Of course, we would be." Gellert answered. "We were killed by Tom at Numenguard after you left. But you both and Harry... you defeated him."

"Oh, my beautiful grandchildren." Vinda said as she stepped forward to us. "You have done us proud. Prouder than we could have ever imagined."

"You've shown the Wizarding World that you did not follow in my darker footsteps." Gellert said. "You've been respected as I have been, but for better and good reasons. We have found peace in the life hereafter, and this world no longer has to worry about threats such as Tom Riddle."

"Grandfather..." Y/N asked. "What will happen to Numenguard? You both have been there for so long, what would happen?"

"The protective enchantments on the prison will fade away." Gellert said. "And eventually, it will be as if it never existed. But that is not the reason we have come. We want to wish you luck in your lives, and that nothing shall ever harm you. With that, I hope you can forgive me for my heinous acts in my past.

"We already have." We both said again.

Vinda looked at Gellert as he smiled. "Very well then." Vinda finished. "It is time... we properly say goodbye."

And just like that, they faded away, leaving us there. Y/N was holding the Resurrection Stone and then showed it to me. "What should we do with it?" He asked me.

"We can't make anyone Master of Death, so..." I said. "We put it in the Room of Requirement. In a place no-one will think about it."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Day after we put the Resurrection Stone away in the Room of Requirement, everyone's exams had started. And soon enough in a couple days, we would have graduated from Hogwarts and a month later, Y/N and Hermione were finally going to get married.

But before we took our exams, we were called to Mum's office. So before we went for our first exam, we headed over to see Mum.

"Good morning!" Mum said cheerfully as we entered. "First things first, you ready for your last final exams ever?"

"Oh, definitely." Y/N said, while nudging me. "We're so ready to be done with exams."

"I agree with my brother's statement." I joked.

"Anyways..." Mum continued. "I received an owl from none other than the new Minister of Magic himself, and he asked me to give these to you."

She handed us the letters and we opened them to reveal whatever it was that Kingsley sent for us.

To the Lovegood Twins,

Due to your courageous efforts and brilliance in the Second Wizarding War, and your outstanding achievements at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, it is of my great honor and privilege that I recommend you to the Auror's Office.

Due to the current possible problem of Death Eaters resurfacing with a new leader, right under our noses, I hope you accept this invitation, and of course, at the time you so chose. The leader is currently not made many moves, and we wish to keep it that way unless we need to take action.

"Being recommended to the Auror's Office when fresh out of Hogwarts?" Mum asked with a smirk. "That's a big honor! I'm so proud of my kids! Kingsley's giving you both a choice of when to come in, since Fenwick hasn't caused anything yet. With you both in the New Ministry, I hope he doesn't cause any trouble. Still can't believe he was under the Ministry's nose the whole time!"

She sighed for a quick moment then turned back to us. "But along with that, I wanted to wish you both luck on your exams. And please tell Hermione and Anne the same." After that, she couldn't help but engulf us in a tight motherly hug. "You both are growing up so fast! Oh, I love you both so much!"

"We love you too, Mum." Y/N said as she let us go with a kiss on our heads.

"Oh, before I forget..." Mum said. "You'd want to see Kieran, Sam, and Mia before you graduate... they'd need some help."

Y/N and I exchanged a look at each other as we nodded and headed for our exams. They were easier than I thought, could be since we practically studied for them all the time.

And without a single threat.

So as the exams went on, we continued to work on them and study for them. In the meantime where we had time to relax, Draco, Ginny, Luna and Neville would come around to talk with us. But in the other chance we had, we went to visit the three Misfits where they were staying.

As we knocked on the door, Kieran opened the door a few moments later and greeted us. "Hey, good to see you both!" Kieran smiled. "What brings you around to this area of Hogwarts?"

"Good to see you too, Kieran." I smiled.

"How's it going?" Y/N asked. "Also Mum said you all needed some help with something...?"

Kieran's face turned from a smile to a little bit of shock. "She...she told you?" He asked.

Both of us looked at each other with a look of confusion. "Told us what?" We both asked.

"Well..." Kieran said as he rubbed the nape of his neck. "It's better if I showed you." He brought us inside the dorm that they shared. There were two rooms and a sitting room, like our Common Rooms, but a little smaller since it held three people.

"Hey, Kieran, what's going on --" Sam said as he walked in. "Oh, hello, Y/N, Lana."

"Hey, Sam..." Y/N said. "What's going on? What happened?"

"Well... you know how Mia and I are dating, right?" Sam said. "Have been since third year, but anyways after a couple nights after that party, things got a little... Interesting, we'll put it. And so..."

"Sam, I love you, but for Merlin's sake..." Mia said as she came around the corner. "Just tell them! It's not going to kill you."

Sam sighed, cleared his breath, and spoke. "We're going to have a baby."

"You're what!?" I asked wildly before turning to Mia. "You're --"

"Pregnant, yes." Mia said.

Y/N turned to Sam. "And you're--"

"Going to be parents, yes." Sam finished him. "And I'm nervous as hell! I'm gonna be a father and I don't know how this would work!"

"He's just nervous about my parents." Mia said as she held her boyfriend's hand. "He reckons my dad would hunt him down when he finds out."

"In all honesty, Mia..." Sam said, just as nervous as before. "Your dad is quite intimidating when he's mad. It even frightens me a little..."

"You'll be fine." Mia told him. "Besides, he and my mum like you so maybe Dad won't have the urge to hunt you? And you did help find him all those years ago, he's been grateful for that."

"Again, still frightened when he finds out." Sam muttered under his breath.

"They like you, Sammy." Mia said to him. "Nothing's going to change their mind. I know they'll support us."

"But how did you find out you're having a child?" I asked, to which Mia produced her wand , which glowed a bright green.

"I grabbed it one morning and it just did that." Mia said. "I told Sam then, and when we looked for information about it. And then we found out."

"We do have to be prepared for when the baby arrives." Sam said. "And we were hoping... Could you help us get ready? We do have our own place, but we'd have to get some things ready."

"Oh, yes, course we will!" I said and Y/N agreed. "I mean, Mia and you are some of our friends, of course we'd help!"

Mia smiled while Sam sighed in relief. "Oh, thank you both." Mia said. "We really appreciate it. We still have to tell the others, ask Nick if he'd like to be godfather, Ashley would probably ask if she can babysit, just so much. You've really helped us out so much."

"No problem." Y/N said and shook Sam's hand. "Good luck to you both in advance.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Anne POV

A couple days later, Mum and Dad's graduation day had arrived. We were finally leaving Hogwarts. Our exam results came back in time and luckily enough, we passed all our N.E.W.Ts we had sat for. However, the ceremony would be at night and the other students would leave for home. But I decided to stay back and wanted to see their graduation. Jason had stayed as well, since he heard from Y/N that Sam and Mia were having a baby.

"They're having a baby!?" Jason asked. "Aunt Mia's pregnant!?"

"Suppose she is." I said. "You're going to be an older cousin soon, aren't you?" I teased with that last statement.

"Well, I wanna help them." Jason proclaimed. "Maybe Uncle Axel would let me help them?"

Everyone else was ready to leave, but Neville, Y/N, Lana and Hermione were having their ceremony tonight. The most unique thing was that they were going to be leaving Hogwarts the same way they first arrived. They would be taking the boats. While Jason was staying with Mia and Sam at their place in London, I was waiting with Professor McGonagall until everyone got on the boats, so when Mum, Dad, Lana and Neville got on a boat, I would join them on the way back. So when the time came, Jason and I said goodbye before the ceremony began.

"I'm gonna miss you a lot." Jason said to me. "You really made my first year here great, you know?"

"Well, I'm going to miss you too, Jason." I giggled. "And thank you for the compliment. Good luck with helping Mia and Sam."

"Oh, wait, that reminds me!" I said before he left for the Three Misfits. "You're coming, right?"

Jason's eyebrows curled. "Coming?" He asked. "Coming where?"

I chuckled again. "To the wedding, you nitwit! You're coming with everyone, yeah?"

Jason's face turned into a smile as he looked at me. "I'm invited?"

"Course you are!" I said. "I'd want my best friend to be there with me when my parents get married, don't I?"

"Yeah, I'll be there." Jason said. "I better get going, Uncle Sam and Vito must be waiting for me." From what Dad said, Vito was going to help Sam and Mia get back safely.

"Oh, and one more thing..." I said as he turned but he stopped.

"Yeah?" He asked and turned around, where I hugged him tightly.

"You have a good summer." I said as I felt him return it. "I'll see you soon at the wedding."

"See you there too." Jason smiled and went off to find his uncles and aunt.

Since the ceremony was at night, the boats would take everyone back to the docks where the Hogwarts Express would be waiting. My things were packed along with Mum's and Dad's. Our pets, Crookshanks, Snowball, Patch and Evie were being taken down to the Hogwarts Express, but Snuffles, being the smallest of them, stayed back with me.

Gosh, I love this little one. He's so adorable!

So when the time came for the ceremony to begin, I was standing near Grandma Addison while the Heads of House, (that being Professors McGonagall, Slughorn, Flitwick and Sprout) would hand the graduating years their degrees for the magical world.

Since Y/N, Hermione, Neville, Draco and Lana were leaving, the leadership of Dumbledore's Army was handed over to Ginny and Luna, and I was absolutely excited for the next year to see what we would do. I learned more spells in case those Death Eaters would show their ugly heads. But along with the D.A., S.P.E.W.'s leadership would change too.

And Mum thought it would be best if I took the charge of the organization. I was very involved with S.P.E.W these past few months, and we had around 15 people. Mum was also hoping to bring S.P.E.W to the Ministry, so hopefully, elves who choose to have freedom may have that Freedom.

So now, the graduating students were at their house tables for the very last time. From where I was sitting, I could see Y/N and Hermione holding hands and smiling at each other. And then, the names were announced.

"Patil, Padma."

"Boot, Terry."

"Johnson, Sam."

"Lovegood, Lana."

"Rosario, Kayla."

More of the Ravenclaw students came up, but as Aunt Lana came up, she smiled at me and I smiled back at her. She accepted her degree from Professor Flitwick, who said, "Incredible work, Miss Lovegood. I shall write to you about your plans for the wedding." After which, Lana waved to me and went to the docks to wait for me, Y/N, Hermione and Neville.

The names went on, Hufflepuff after the Ravenclaws, and then the Slytherins followed after and finally, the Gryffindors.

"Patil, Parvati."

"Thomas, Dean."

"Granger, Hermione."

"Lovegood, Y/N."

"Longbottom, Neville."

And as Mum and Dad received their degrees from Professor McGonagall, I noticed Professor McGonagall was holding back tears since her grandson, her granddaughter, and her granddaughter-in-law were leaving Hogwarts and she was proud of them. As they left the Hall, they smiled at me and ushered me to join them, but Grandma Addison held me back for a moment.

"Take care of yourselves, okay?" Grandma said kindly to me. "I'll join you all home in a couple days. I'm so proud of all of you." She then hugged me, which was really nice, and kissed my forehead. "I'll see you all soon."

And with that, she let me go with another warm smile and I joined back with Mum and Dad.

Neville and Lana were already in a boat waiting for us. Y/N helped Hermione and I into the boat and he entered it after us. As the boats began to move in the sea, the professors were waving goodbye to us, and everyone else had at that moment too. It was kinda pretty to see Hogwarts in this view at night, but a sad moment for everyone since they left this place.

Even with the bad memories here, they still thought there were good ones.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hours later, I woke up in my bedroom at home, but the thing was, I don't remember getting in my own bed. I must have fallen asleep on the way back home. My wand was on my nightstand, a pair of pajamas were on the bottom corner of my bed, along with Mum's pink jumper and a small note was right next to my wand.

I sat up in my bed, pushed my hair behind my ears and grabbed the note to read it.

Hey, honey! We hope you slept well.

You fell asleep when we were leaving, so your dad was carrying you back home. So, as we got home, we put you in bed and I got some clothes ready for you when you wake up.

Since there's still time before the wedding, (which we still don't know the plans for, mind you. Don't worry, Lana will probably tell us, honey.) we want to do some things before it comes. So, in a couple of days, we're going to visit your dad's aunt, Andromeda. You're more than welcome to come with us.

Anyways, we hope you slept well by the time you're reading this.

We love you so much, Anne.

Love, your mother,

Hermione Lovegood-Granger

(P.S. I know your father and I aren't officially married yet, but I cannot wait to officially be a part of the Lovegoods, you know?)

"Ha, ha, I know, Mum." I chuckled to myself. "Isn't Andromeda Tonks' mum?" Dad was the uncle to Tonks and Remus' son, Teddy, were we going to visit him? I decided to ask Dad as I got into my clothes and went down the stairs.

Dad was cooking in the kitchen and Aunt Lana and Harry were helping him out. Seems like they were making a full English breakfast. Mum must still be asleep, I don't see her yet.

"Morning, Dad." I said cheerfully as I entered the kitchen. "Morning, Aunt Lana."

"Hey, pup." Dad said with a smile as he quickly turned to see me before putting attention to not burn the food. "You sleep well? You fell asleep when we got on the train, so I carried you back home. Harry was already home when we got back"

"Yeah, I did. Thanks for that." I said as Aunt Lana hugged me. "Where's Mum?"

"Oh, Hermione should be up right now." Dad said. "You did see her note from last night, yeah?"

"Of course I did. Andromeda's Teddy's grandmother, right?"

"She is!" Lana said as she kept moving. "But the thing is, we've never met Andromeda or Teddy. And as Teddy gets older, he's going to be moving homes a lot, coming here to us then to Malfoy Manor with Draco, right now Teddy would be a year old."

"Morning." I heard Mum from behind me and felt her arms wrap around me before she went and kissed Dad. "Breakfast ready?"

Hermione POV

As we were having breakfast, Lana and Anne finally decided to inform us of their plans of our wedding. They've already booked it at Clevedon Hall and Lana somehow got Professor Flitwick to officiate it. And they'd already planned the whole thing!

"Sounds extravagant!" Harry remarked. "And you two and Luna have been planning this ever since their engagement? That's bloody brilliant!"

"You had all this planned?" Y/N asked them. "I'm so excited!"

"I, for one, am amazed." I said. "You got to do all this and kept it all a surprise until now? That must have been so much! At least let us handle the invitations."

Lana sighed with relief. "Oh, I was hoping you'd say that!" She said. "Anne, Luna and I have done so much."

"It is only fair if we can do the invites." Y/N said. "Besides, Lana, I bet you were planning the wedding ever since Hermione and I got together."

"Oh, you have no idea." Lana smirked. "I did tell Hermione I've been planning it ever since she told me she fancied you."

"Oh, right, Y/N..." Harry asked. "We're due to visit Andromeda, right?"

"Oh, yeah, in a couple of days." Y/N said. "I'm excited to meet Teddy honestly."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And soon enough, the day had come to finally meet Teddy Lupin. We had arrived at Andromeda Tonks' home, and the moment we saw Andromeda, we found she had a striking and shocking resemblance to one Bellatrix Lestrange.

"Oh, I am sorry about the surprise." Andromeda said. "I forgot you had a terrible encounter with my sister. It is very nice to meet you all, I've heard so much."

"Nice to meet you too, Aunt Andromeda." Lana said as we walked in.

"Come in, come in!" Andromeda welcomed us in. "It has been so long since I've had company, especially now that Ted and Nymphadora are no longer here."

She had a nice home, Teddy must have been happy here. I still felt bad, since he was going to be raised without his parents, just like how Harry was. But unlike Harry, he had people that would actually care for him. Y/N, Lana and Harry decided to talk with Andromeda, but not before showing Anne and I to where Teddy was.

She led us to a nursery, where a couple of baby toys were all organized for Teddy and a crib was in the middle, where we could see a mass inside of it.

"Oh, it seems like our little Teddy's awake!" Andromeda said softly with a smile and put her hands in the crib to lift him up. "Oh, he reminds me of Nymphadora so much." She looked at me and asked, "Would you like to hold him, dear?"

I nodded as she walked to me and gently put Teddy in my arms, as Anne watched him enter my arms. Teddy cooed, but something interesting happened as he looked at me.

His eyes changed color from his original color to my brown eyes. Some locks of his hair also changed color to mine as well.

"Aw, he's so cute." Anne said as she reached for Teddy and he giggled while Anne brushed his cheeks.

"He's a Metamorphmagus?" I asked Andromeda, who smiled and nodded. "Just--"

"Just like Nymphadora." Andromeda said. "He's inherited his mother's unique ability. He reminds me of her so much."

Anne took Teddy in her arms and the child laughed as Anne tickled him gently. "I take it she is a part of your family?" Andromeda said to me as we walked back to Harry, Y/N and Lana.

"Oh, Anne?" I said to her as I saw Anne playing with Teddy. "Yes, she is. She's my and Y/N's adoptive daughter. And ever since we welcomed her into our family, she's becoming more and more our daughter. And Y/N and I love her as if she was our own flesh and blood. And even if she is Muggle-born, Y/N loves her just as much as he loves me."

Andromeda smiled once again. "You must know, you remind me of my dear husband, Ted. Remus and Nymphadora named Teddy after him, you know?" She looked back to the two, finding Teddy showing Anne something in his hand and her playing along happily with the infant. "But Ted was such a kind soul. He cared for me, his daughter and even protected us, despite being Muggle-born."

She looked back at me. "And now, that I think of it, I'd say the Muggle-borns are the strongest of us. Their willingness to protect others, despite being the odd ones out, it makes them extraordinary. It's what made Lily Potter extraordinary. It's what made Ted extraordinary. And no doubt will make you both extraordinary."

"That is your strength." Andromeda repeated. "Never forget what makes you extraordinary. That quality of Ted's was one of the many reasons I fell in love with him."

Hearing those words made me smile more as we came back into the living room and I stood next to Y/N, who smiled as he saw Anne with Teddy in her arms. Lana joined her in watching Teddy and she was just as happy to finally meet Teddy.

"Andromeda's letting us take him to Lovegood Manor, you know?" Y/N said. "She wants Teddy to spend some time with all of us before the wedding, seeing as Lana and I are his aunt and uncle and Harry's his godfather."

"Well, that's nice." I said as I took his hand, brushing over his knuckles while his fingers slipped into mine. "Anne's already taking a liking to him. And he's a metamorphmagus, like Tonks."

"Well, that will make for the hardest game of hide-and-seek ever." We chuckled. "You think he'll like the Manor?" He asked.

"Course he will." I said. "He has some different surroundings, let's just hope he doesn't get lost."

"Me either. But Teddy seems to like his cousin, doesn't he?" Y/N said as he pointed out to Teddy, who Anne was holding in her arms and talking a few words. Since Teddy was at least a year old, he could say a few words.

But I bet he'll enjoy Lovegood Manor.
