"The both of you still haven't given me the answer to my question," Sanyukta spoke, breaking the dead silence in the living room.

"We didn't want to give you up beta but what else could we have done? We took loans from dangerous people and they were after us.

They killed your brother and sister right in front of us and we couldn't see them kill you too so we gave you to Rajveer. And about us not visiting you, we came but you were too small to remember.

We saw Antara and Rajveer playing with you and you looked so happy with them. They couldn't have kids and was planning to adopted so we gave them the opportunity, we gave them you."

Himanshi(Sanyukta's mother) broke down in tears looking on Sanyukta, her baby girl. She stared at her from head to toe, admiring the young woman her daughter turned out to be.

So composed, well spoken and sophisticated.

"For someone else's happiness we gave you up but I am glad they got a chance to be parents," Gaurav spoke caressing her face.

"You guys have lost so much and gave up your last living child for my parents happiness. Not everyone would do that." She sighed and started to play with her fingers looking down at them. "But I won't stop loving Rajveer dad to love the both of you. I will love all three of you equally."

"Three? What happened to Antara?" Himanshi asked.

Sanyukta closed her eyes fighting back the tears which threatened to escape them, but upon hearing Soham's voice she shifted her gaze to him.

"Actually Antara mom died in an accident."

He sat down in front of them, wiping his hands into his handkerchief.

"I'm sorry to hear that beta."

"Yeah, I miss her a lot," saying that she got up and went upstairs with her hands in her pockets.

"Give her some time, she will come around. Would you like to have tea or coffee?"

"It's okay beta, we were just leaving. Tell Sanyukta that we love her and if she wants we can give her some space," Himashi said giving him a small smile.

"I will."

"And please take good care of her. Not only is she Rajveer's angel, she is ours as well. She has been through a lot and all she wants is love." Gaurav held his hand looking on him with pleading eyes.

"Uncle don't worry about her. I will take good care of her. And yeah u-uh-" Soham looked away feeling a little embarrassed of what he was going to say. He bit his lip smiling just at the thought." She is not only your angel she is mine too."

They chuckled and patted his back seeing how hard he was blushing.

"There is nothing to be embarrassed about Soham. Say it freely," Gaurav whispered.

They waved at him as they left the living room leaving him chuckling at himself.

'Blushing huh? What's up with you? After hearing Sanyukta's name you turn into a tomato now,' his mind teased causing him to slap himself in the head and that was when realization hit him.

"Sanyukta?" he called, knocking on the door with a tray of food in his hands.

"This is your room you know you don't need to knock."

"You were in here and I didn't know if you were changing or anything so I had to knock." He sat down on the bed next to her and placed the tray in her lap. "You didn't finish eating."

"I don't feel hungry anymore," she told handing the tray back to him, turning her face to the other side.

"Lying is not good. Come on open."

"Soham I-" She stopped only to see Soham's hand in front of her with the fork in between his fingers.

'You are really brave Soham. Feeding her huh? You are going to be the real definition of red today,' his mind spoke.

Sanyukta shook her in but he nodded his head and sighing, she ate the egg off the fork.

Soham was dying on the inside with these unusual feelings rushing through him. Butterflies were fluttering in his stomach but he couldn't take his eyes off her.

"Why are you staring at me like that?" she asked, eating the last piece of egg that he unknowingly took up with the fork.

"U-Uh nothing."

"I'm sorry for leaving like that back there. I just don't know how to handle things like these. Everything is so overwhelming you know. At one point I am happy to meet them but at another point I am angry with them."

He placed his hand on hers, feeling a sudden shiver run down his spine as his hand came in contact with hers.

'Just breathe Soham.'

"Everything will be fine Sanyukta. Things will fall in place very-" before he could finish the growling of his stomach stopped him.

"You didn't eat anything since morning did you?" she asked and he just shook his head quietly.

"Open wide."

She took up the fork with the leftovers of what she ate and forwarded it to his mouth.

"Sanyukta, it's fine. I will eat something on the way to work. Speaking of that I-I need to go."

Before he could get up she held his hand firmly. "Eat or else tonight I will purposely kick you off the bed."

Since the past 5 and a half months during that year whenever she would talk to him sweetly or even simply look on him, his heart would race as if it was in a race with Usain Bolt.

But because of his on and off behavior he would ignore it but now since she has confessed that she loves him, that feeling was killing him.

What is was, he didn't know, but he did know that is special.

He opened his mouth slowly for Sanyukta to feed him and she smiled when he did. "Don't starve yourself Soh. Who will I have by my side when are you gone?"

He looked down blushing and she knew that very well but she didn't tease him. Instead she just sat there enjoying his cuteness and the fact the cold and rude man she once married was now blushing on her words.

Sanyukta fed him another morsel, her eyes not coming off of him but his sudden jump broke their cute moment.

"Shit I left the stove on!" He rushed downstairs and to the kitchen to turn off the stove which was left on.

He sighed in relief and placed his hand on his chest, thanking God that he came in time.

Meanwhile, Sanyukta was preparing her things for work as it was almost time for her shift.

She placed her purse in her bag along with the house keys and her phone but the sudden incoming call stopped her from putting it in the bag.

"Hello?"

"Dr. Ahuja come to the hospital immediately, there is a serious accident case and you are needed for surgery."

"I'm coming sir."

She slipped the phone in her bag and rushed to the bathroom to get freshen up.

"Where is my phone? Rajveer dad told me to call him," Soham spoke searching down the house.

"Come on where was the last-oh wait, the bathroom."

He headed back upstairs to his room only to find Sanyukta not in the inside. He opened the bathroom door only to find her naked about to get into the shower.

"Soham!"

"Shit! Sorry!"

He quickly closed the door as she jumped into the shower drawing the shower curtain with great force.

Soham stepped away from the door not knowing how to process what he just saw. The image of her a few seconds ago couldn't come out of his head.

"Sorry Sanyukta I had no idea you were in there. I should have knocked. I am so sorry," he told loudly from outside.

"It's okay. You didn't see anything and that is good with me. It wasn't your fault, I should've locked the door," she said.

She thought he didn't see anything but his eyes were quick. He saw everything, from her head to her toe, including that tattoo of his name she had on her waist.

He just couldn't stop smiling at the fact that she got his name tattooed onto her skin.

Did she love him that much that she went through so much pain of getting a tattoo and that too of his name?

Slowly his cheeks turned red as he stared outside the window thinking about it.

'You are such a pervert Soham,' his mind said and he coughed.

"I am not thinking about her in that way. I am thinking about that tattoo
of my name she has. It's cute right. Well, I think it is cute, just like her," he told himself.

Again that unusual feeling came back along with the butterflies in his stomach making him wonder.

'What is happening to me?'
