Nervousness

Curiousity

Have you ever felt these all emotions at once , well if not then I can give you guys a brief note on the experience, today is the first day of my college and hyper panicking thinking what if I mess up knowing my clumsy I will definitely do something messy,  Excitement as I m more closer to my dream of becoming independent , Nervousness because I don't know a single soul here except Arjun which is the only reason of my sanity, curious because I want to see how my life would from now on.

"Taraa." I jumped up hearing a shout and turned around to see Arjun standing there with raised eyebrow, there was bowl of curd in his hand and he was all ready for his office.

It's been four days since we have shifted in Mumbai, I miss my Kolkata it's not like Mumbai is bad it's just I miss my own city the place I was born and raised in.

We have made the apartment life worthy it's not a home yet but we are working on it , Arjun has already started his work .

"Tara I really don't know what you keep dreaming always but Dont do this in college you will get in trouble." Arjun lectured me while scoping a spoonful of curd and forwarding it towards my mouth.

Arjun is like my one in all package, he is strict and sweet like my mummy , protective and loving like papa , like a best friend on whom I can lean on and speak my heart out.

"I know I know but you are there nah you will safe me." I told him with a wink , he glared at me playfully.

" I have packed some bread butter and fruits salad , tonight I will bring some ingredients for few recipes I watched on YouTube."  He told me.

The problem is both Arjun and I are zero in cooking, also I m not yet familiar with our area and because if this the only time we could go for grocery shopping is after Arjun return, my college is in walking distance and in these four days I have to took Arjun with me for many walk from college to here to from here to college to remember the way.

" Let me go nah I will return before you , I can manage myself with Google map." I told him but whom I fooling he is tougher then rock when it comes to my safety

" No means no , you are not familiar with the area yet, now common we are getting late." He told me picking up my bag and mobile and handing those to me as I followed him.
Before going out I did quick prayer in front Lord Krishna,

The walk to college were filled with lots of instructions and lectures from Arjun, as we stopped in front the college my Nervousness grow tenfold, it was filled with students and it was Soo big ,

Ha interlocked with my and squeezed gently , I looked up at him and he blinked at me assuringly with a gentle smile, I can clearly read in his eyes ' everything will be okay' just like always.

I smiled back mustering a little courage back and squeezed his hand back,

You can do this Naina,

"All the best for your first day in college Tara." Arjun told me with a smile.

I bide him bye and walked towards the entrance I could feel some stares but I cared less, I opened my schedule looked at the room number of my first class and started searching it ,

"Excuse me." I heard someone call me and turned around to see a short girl infront of me.

"Yes." I said with a easy going smile to seem friendly , I hope don't look creepy and lost the first chance of making my first college friend.

"Are you first year student." The girl asked widening her for eyes.

I nodded with a smile I m sure I m looking creepy," yeah English honours  ." I said the girl face light up and she beamed at me.

"Great I was also searching for that, it's Soo great to have someone in your support, you know I m Soo scared after hearing Soo much about ragging and all those." The girl was blabbering while walking ahead, I followed her.

"By the way I m Shruti Agarwal." The girl said forwarding her hand with a smile.

I smiled back more if possible," Naina Roy," we shaked our hands.

"You know I hope we become friends it will be great to home some friends...." She started talking while I listened.

We soon found the class and settled besides each other the professor was not yet there Soo you can imagine how the classroom will be nothing less then fish market.

Shruti was a great company to have she was Soo talkative and it was good for someone as less talkative as me, she was sweet to.

Shruti and I have almost all classes except the last one but we were happy it's better to have something then nothing.

Soon the professor arrived and the day got over in blink with classes after classes,

As I was leaving my last class I texted Arjun that I m leaving college,

"Nainaaa Nainaaa."

I turned around to see Shruti running towards me with a smile,

"How was your last class," she asked as we headed towards the exit.

"Yeah goo..." I stopped as I saw a certain bike standing there in front of the gates of my college.

"Arjun." I whispered my eyes searched for him and finally fall on him buying a chocobar ice from a vendor.

A huge smile appeared on my faces as all the tiredness from the non-stop classes vanished within a second." ARJUNNN!!!." I shouted like a crazy girl and run towards him, I didn't cared if someone judged me, thought me as a psycho the only thing mattered that my Aljun was here and I didn't give flying fuck about the world.

I throwed myself on him just like the childhood when he used to came to pick me along with my parents after school,

" Woah woah easy tiger , you are heavy." He teasing voice reached my ears and I immediately broke the hug giving him a death glare along with swat on his arm.

" Idiot." I told him with a grumpy face as he laughed.

" Is he that one you were talking about Naina." I heard Shruti voice and immediately bite my tongue

I totally forgot about her

I turned towards her with a sheepish smile, "yeah he is Arjun my childhood friend, and Arjun this is Shruti my new friend." I introduced both.

Both smiled at each with a nod. Arjun got a call  and excuses himself.

"Your brother is hot." Shruti blurted out while staring at Arjun.

If possible I chocked on my own salvia, Arjun my brother ewwww , where the hell did she imagined this.

" Arjun is not my brother, where the h...where did you got this idea from." I asked her gritting my teeth.

Shruti looked at me blinking and in that moment she was looking a bit sweet to me," oh , actually you said you both grow up together and he is a family to you Soo I thought you call him your brother." She said shrugging.

I took a deep breath to calm myself," well you thought wrong, anyway bye see you to tomorrow." I told her with a fake smile and walked towards Arjun who has finished talking.

"What happened, why is your face looking Soo sour, swallowed a lemon or what."

"Limes." I muttered,

"Have the ice cream it will sweet your Tates and mood to." Arjun said throwing me the chocobar ice cream , as we walked towards our route to apartment.

I beamed at him and pulled his cheeks forgetting the incident of minutes back." My Aljun is the best." I said in child voice.

Arjun rolled his eyes with a smile," yeah yeah now it before it melts." He said.

"By the way, how come you are earlier then me , you were supposed to be in office." I asked him taking a bite of the chocolate and vanilla flavor inside melted in my mouth along with chocolate.

"Well , according to my authorities I m not feeling well Soo they gave me a half day, a little lie is alright sometimes." He said with a wink.

"But Arjun you just newly joined in this branch it can affect your work, I could have got home on my own." I told him frowning, I didn't liked this, we shouldn't neglect our work , work is important to , I have seen from eyes how much Arjun struggled during his childhood.

" Silly , I m not here for worrying about if you will get home safely, I m here because it's my routine to drop you and pick you in your first day of everything, Soo how can I spoil it this time, yes it might effect my job , but this moment won't come back no matter what, you cant change something which is already done, and this little happiness are key to happy life." He told me with his usual smile.

My felt warm hearing his words , what will I ever do without you Arjun..

I beamed at him and hugged him sideways," let's go for groceries." I told him.
