The next day when Naina woke up there was a huge smile on her face. Yesterday night was like a refreshing morning after a full dark night, she went to the washroom and got freshen up after praying to lord Krishna , when she went to dining her smile dimmed Arjun was talking with someone laughing but the reason behind her dimmed smile was,

"Yes Arushi, yeah off course, yeah ." Arjun was saying while smiling pouring the tea in the cup.

Again that Arushi Naina thought fuming, she went to the dining and sat there Arjun passed her the cup of tea. Arjun cut the call and looked at Naina who was glaring at the bread while buttering it.

"Tara when are you returning from your college." Arjun asked her sipping his tea , he clicked his tongue he missed Naina mother's tea.

Naina shrugged passing him his bread and butter." Usual." She said buttering her own bread.

" I might get late today, one of our colleague's is getting promoted Soo he is throwing us a small celebration dinner out, will you okay if you want I can make some excuse." Arjun told her.

Naina glared at him playfully." Arjun I m not a little girl anymore, I m 19 years old for God sake. You have your life Arjun enjoy it , just because we both got here in same city by destiny doesn't mean that you have to babysit me, I want your presence, support and comfort Arjun but that doesn't mean you will sacrifice your fun for me." Naina told him a little offended, she wants him with her always but that doesn't mean she will become a burden in his life.

"But..." Arjun started but she cut him off.

"No buts you are going and I swear to God if you say another word, you will see my worst side....." Naina started angrily.

"Ok fine I m going." Arjun surrendered grumpily.

Naina smiled." Good boy." She patted his shoulder while he slapped her hand with a sulking face , he didn't wanted to leave her behind, she never was alone that long after they arrived in Mumbai.

" Now I m going to get late for college bye." She said getting up , she went him and gave him a quick hug the simple seconds lasting hug made her feel warm inside. 

She happily walked to her college and meet Shruti on the entrance," good morning." She greeted Shruti with a smile.

Shruti raised a eyebrow." Wow someone wake from the happy side this morning." She said teasing making Naina giggle.

" Nothing like that actually yesterday...." And Naina Begin to narrate her about yesterday night events.

Shruti observed her carefully, the girl was unaware but she had soft corner for her best friend which was more then a friend, the way her eyes lit up Everytime she mentioned his name, the way she smiled which telling about how he made her comfortable in that crowded bus it was all pretty clear, the way she reacted when Shruti called Arjun as her brother from that day only Shruti got a little idea.

" Let's go to watch a movie tonight." Shruti suggested as they entered the class.

Naina hesitated she was hangout with friends alone before, " but..." She started.

"What but, anyway you will Alone and bored." Shruti said shrugging.

Will it be okay, but I m adult now Naina thought," okay just let me ask Arjun first ," she said.

After the classes were over when the break time come Naina called Arjun.

" Yeah Tara." Arjun asked.

"Umm Arjun Shruti is inviting me for a movie tonight, will it be okay if I go." Naina asked hesitated.

Arjun was silent for sometimes , he was hesitated and worried for her to as she been out somewhere alone but he also knows that if he always bound her  then she won't get to experience the real life and won't ever be tough enough to face it.

"Okay just but Don't be late and if if it's past 9 then text me the location I will come to pick you up , also be careful if anything is wrong call me immediately okay." Arjun said.

"Okay but you don't spoil your evening because of worrying about me please.". Naina pleaded.

Arjun smiled." I won't." He lied , how could he not.

"Okay bye I will text you when we will leave you." Naina said .

After hanging up Naina turned towards Shruti with a bright smile," done." She said.

"Okay then I text my roommate that I will be late today and after college we will directly go to your apartment and from there movie." Shruti said.

At evening

" It was good." Shruti said.

"Good!...I m going to have nightmare for a entire week." Naina said groaning covering her face with her bag. They decided to watch the conjuring 3 and after watching it Naina was a moment away from heart attack.

Shruti rolled her eyes." Oh common Nain it wasn't that scary." She said swinging her bag.

Naina glared at her ," shut up." She said grumbling, suddenly her eyes fall on McDonald's shop, immediately her eyes lit up.

"I m feeling hungry let's go gets sum snacks." Naina said , horror movie long forgotten.

Shruti looked at her with widened eyes," are you serious, we just finished two tubs of popcorn." Shruti said in disbelief, how much can this girl eat.

"I can't life without food, common." Naina said hurriedly dragging her towards the shop,

As they entered inside immediately Naina bumped into someone,

"I m extremely sorry...." Both said in unison but stopped looking at each other,

"Tara."

"Arjun."

Both Arjun and Naina said in unison looking at each other, then both of their face break into a smile,

"You didn't tell me you were going to watch movie in this mall." Arjun said surprised.

"Yeah because the other was full, but same goes for you to mister." Naina said playfully jabbing her finger into his chest.

"Oh Soo you are the famous Naina, or should I say Arjun's Tara." A voice said from behind Arjun.

Then only did Naina realized her surrounding, Arjun was not alone but That Wit..Girl Arushi from that night was also with him , now from close Naina could see why Arjun praised her that night , she truly was epitome of perfectness, with her impressing hight the white shirt and fitting ankle denim , her shiny hair set lose with a light bounce and simple yet classy make up made her look classy.

Though there was nothing but friendliness in her face Naina couldn't help but felt self-conscious, she felt out of place in front of her confidence aura , she tried to smiled but it come strained.

But her act didn't go unnoticed by Arjun, he quickly went to her side and wrapped his arms around her tensed shoulder," you guessed right this is my Tara, my shining start the one who's presence alone can lift your whole mood,and Tara meet Arushi my colleague," Arjun's words and presence relaxed her stiff posture a bit.

She lightly smiled at her," hi." She said  softly .

Arushi chuckled ," you don't seems like the way Arjun described you as wild and chirpy." She said.

Naina blushed," oh trust me, once she gets comfortable and close with you she will eat your head whole day," Arjun joked and Naina nudged him glaring lightly.

Arushi laughed," " umm you guys talk I get Naina and my orders, Naina what do you want ." Shruti said Naina nodded,

Naina opened her mouth," double cheese chicken burger with fries and chicken nuggets." Arjun completed for her.

Naina looked at him with a smile while Shruti and Arushi had a surprise expression, Shruti's surprise turned into a secret smile and she left to get their desired snacks.

Arushi looked at Naina," well it was nice meeting you Naina, " she said with a smile then she turned towards Arjun." Bye Arjun I have to be home early,will see you on Monday." She said and walked away.

Naina looked at Arjun." You guys were supposed to be late Right, then..." She trailed off,

Arjun shrugged," I was worried for you Soo I made a excuse to leave, Arushi also had get home early for some reason." Arjun said and smiled sheepishly when Naina glared at him.

"I told you to enjoy Arjun." Naina hissed angirly.

Arjun coolly looked around ignoring her glare , Naina huffed at him, just as Shruti returned with their food," let's have a sit common." Shruti said turning around to head towards the seating area.

"Umm Shruti i think I will have them parceled ,it's already late and we should head home now," Naina said smiling with apologize face.

"But you are hungry you sh..." A glare from Naina shut him up.

Shruti shrugged." Okay you guys then leave I will head out after few minutes." She said handing Naina her tray to get them parceled.

"Do you want us to accompany you , it's pretty late." Naina said concerned.

Shruti waved her off stuffing a fry in her mouth," oh don't worry my apartment is 5 minutes distance from here, I would have be fine." She said.

After biding her bye and getting her order parceled, they headed towards the bus stand to catch a bus.

After sometime in the their neighbourhood

"Arjun you are such a annoying sweetheart." Naina grumbled shoving him as they walked in the empty neighborhood towards their building.

Arjun raised his eyebrows, a drop of water on his face made him look up to see the drizzling night sky.

A huge smile appeared on his face as the slowly the light rain showered upon them, he looked towards Naina who too had a smile on her face.

"Arjunrain , please lets drench please." Naina pleaded him.

"Okay we will but first let's go inside otherwise your burger and fries will get drenched." Arjun said Naina nodded and they hurriedly entered inside the building.

After entering their apartment Naina dumped everything on the dining and rushed towards the balcony, she opened the glass door and run into the balcony, she forwarded her hand as the raindrops showered on her hand she giggled feeling it.

Arjun leaned on the doorframe watching her with a soft smile,they way she giggled as the heavy wind splashed some drops on her face , they way she glowed in that rain made her look like a freshly bloomed rose after rain, and Arjun can look at that scene forever.

Naina looked at Arjun and a mischief smile appeared ok her face, she gathered some rain water in her hands and splashed it on Arjun face.

Naina laughed loudly looking at Arjun face who stood dumbfounded looking at her," Tara you brat..." Arjun lunged at her , Tara laughed loudly and run from him , but she couldn't escape as Arjun caught her from waist ,he gathered some raindrops in his hand and sprinkled them on her face making her giggle.

"Arjun stop hehehe Arjun leave me." Naina told him between giggles, making Arjun laugh to.

After they both stopped laughing they stood in a peaceful silence watching the rain and feelings the tiny droplets on their face, Naina's head was resting on Arjun's shoulder.

"You know Arjun , rain always remind me of you , they way rain always brought a smile on my face just like how your presence can lift my mood from deepest gloominess, they way rain always washes away my sorrow, frustration, anger just like how you always manage to make all my sadness to disappear, and the way rain drench me in his heavenly showers just like how you always shower me with love, support, happiness and respect." Naina told him looking into his eyes with a soft smile playing on both of their lips.

Arjun entwined their fingers and looked at her," you may find me in rain but Tara for me you are everywhere, in my heart , in my smile, in those rays of sun , in those soft breezes everywhere and that's why I never feel alone because even when are away from each other for me you are always there." Arjun told her with his usual smile Making her her heart skip a beat , she broke their gaze and looked at the raining city.

Little did she know that soon this rain will brought the biggest lose in her life.
