Yusuf is very close to them even though at first he was against his mother getting married again (seriously can someone explain to me why the male hate it when their mom gets married again after the death of their father? cause till date I can't pinpoint their problems ) he refused to visit hid mother until  he dreamt that she died that's when he waked up from his nap like a mad person and rushed to his mother's house thank goodness it was close to his Uncles house upon reaching there he found out she was pregnant and having some complications during her pregnancy right that instant he realized your mother is your mother, no one can change that, no one can replace her, no one could take her place even if she has a bad personality you just can't hate her ,you can only hate her personality cause no body can do half of the things she does for you to the world she is just one person but to you she is your world and nothing as in nothing beats mother 'a love and who is he to prohibit what Allah hasn't prohibited indeed he is in big error. Since then he realized family come first
As years pass by he became a private person he hardly shares his problems with anyone if he shares some of his personal issues with you then damn you must be very special

He was very close to Hannah everyone of the family thought they are going to end up together but nobody said a word they were all just waiting for the right time but things changed when Khadijah and Ashraf came into their lives.

Yusuf knew he was head over heels for Hannah but she told him she was in love with someone before he got the courage to confess his feelings he was heartbroken and the naïve Hannah kept adding salt to his wound by always talking about how much she loves Ashraf in his present (not knowing at first she was doing it to make him jealous  because she had a huge crush on him back then) he once thought she was doing it on purpose but Muhammad proved him wrong he couldn't take it so he started ignoring Hannah and the poor girl didn't know what she did to him she tried talking to him but he was like I am busy that's why at first it was bothering her but she finally became used to it and she stopped talking to him. He thank God he was leaving the house very soon for his training at ilorin (he wants to be a solider ) that's where he meet Khadijah ,his worse nightmare.
