"I want to make you feel good too," she panted in between kisses before she rolled them over. Now Lexi was on top, arms tangled around Tom.

"No," was all Tom managed to let out. He flipped them over again and began loosening her tie and unbuttoning her blouse as he continued to kiss her, moving his way down her neck and to her chest. After undoing the first few buttons on her blouse, her black bra and cleavage were on full display for him. "Fuck, you're so beautiful," Tom said before diving back in to pepper kisses along her breasts. His hand snaked up and held Lexi's breast over her bra cup, giving it a light squeeze, which forced Lexi to let out another moan. "And these are amazing," he said breathlessly as he used his other hand to catch her other breast. Lexi nodded frantically and scrunched Tom's hair between her fingers. "Yeah," she said between rapid breaths. She took a deep breath to try to minimize the loud sounds of her breathing.

"Good." Tom's eyelids drooped and he turned his attention back to her, grazing his fingers down from her breasts to her stomach. Lexi squirmed as his fingers continued to move lower. He unbuttoned her black shorts and glanced up at her with a look that seemed to be asking if it was okay to proceed.

Lexi nodded again and squeezed her eyes shut, bracing herself for the unchartered territory. When she didn't feel Tom move, she lifted her lids partially to find him paused over the waistband of her stockings. "What? Why'd you stop?" Her mind raced. Did he change his mind? Maybe the perfume I put on is too much?

He glanced up and smiled. "I was just wanting to give you a sec. You tensed up as soon as I was about to go there."

"Oh." Lexi took another deep breath in to try to steady her nerves. Tom moved to the side and slowly and steadily began kissing Lexi's neck and a spot right behind her ear that sent flutters down to her core.

Tom sent Lexi's pulse skyrocketing while simultaneously working to get her to relax with sweet kisses. A moment later, he carefully slipped a hand underneath her sheer black stockings and underwear. Lexi gasped when Tom's finger met her warm center. And by the look on his face, it was as if he'd struck gold.

"I love how ready you are for me," he said in a whisper before moving his middle finger along the spot that sent Lexi's eyes rolling to the back of her head. "Sure you are," Lexi said and covered her face in the crook of his arm, inhaling his sandalwood cologne. "Thank you for getting my mind off of things. That was amazing. I want to return the favor but I don't really know how. I mean, I have some ideas, but I might not be very good. Also, I know the answer to this but have to ask anyway, sperm doesn't jump, right?" Lexi stopped rambling when Tom's deep laugh hit her ears.

"I'll show you how, eventually. It's not important right now. Let's just lie here together for a bit, and then go to the party."

Lexi's body was still humming as she leaned into Tom's embrace. She briefly wondered if they could stay where they were for the rest of their lives, with her in his arms. The feasibility of how it would work would need to be sorted. But, in the haze of a post-orgasm, Lexi figured it might be a reasonable thing to think about.

After a moment of content silence, Tom sighed and spoke in almost a whisper, "I don't deserve you."

Lexi furrowed her brows. "What?"

"I'm not a good person. I don't deserve to have you in my life," he said with a grave tone.

"Tom, don't say that. No one is perfect. I'm not."

His arms squeezed her tighter as he planted a kiss on the top of her head. "You are perfect."

Lexi nestled herself closer to Tom. He was her favorite person in the world and she wasn't going to let anyone say anything bad about him. Not her parents and not even Tom himself.

She briefly wondered if tonight would be the night she told him everything. So what if it was before the case got solved? Maybe it would bring them even closer together? Yet, the thought still sent a wave of panic through her. What if he hated her for lying to him all of these months?

The sweet kiss on her head and stroking of her hair seemed to steady her nerves. I'll need to tell him tonight. Yet, her bladder quickly interrupted her thoughts and she reluctantly sat up. "I'm just going to use the restroom real quick. Don't go anywhere."

Tom nodded and turned on his side toward Lexi as she got up. Her blouse was still open and she buttoned up one of the middle ones as she made her way to the bathroom. "I meant to tell you earlier, I really like your room and how you've decorated it," Lexi said while catching the wall of photos.

"I'm glad," Tom responded and laid on his back, pulling his hands behind his head.

"Is that you?" Lexi said pointing to a photo of a little kid in a baseball uniform with other kids.

"Yeah I used to play baseball a lot as a kid, and all throughout high school too."

"Oh? I didn't know that, that's awesome," Lexi said as she admired each of photo him and who she assumed were friends and family. "Do you miss it?"

"Yeah, I do sometimes."

"Were you the star player?" Lexi asked after seeing a photo of a young, beaming Tom holding an award.

"Yeah, I was. I was one of the fastest runners. Everyone started calling me Dash because I was so quick to get to each base."

Lexi's breathing stopped and her eyes nearly popped out of her skull as soon as the name landed on her ears. "D-Dash?" was all she managed to let out as she hid more of her face toward the wall.

"Yeah, sometimes my brother still calls me that. As you could probably tell from just a moment ago, I work pretty fast." He let out a laugh.

Needle-like sensations covered Lexi's body and she managed to let out a, "Cool," before quickly making her way into the bathroom and locking the door behind her.
