FIVE
FIVE
Mick Schumacher was no where to be found.
Adelina Oliveria had been searching for him for over an hour, checking every where that she could think of but to no avail.
She had asked for the help of one of her friends who she trusted to help find him, and Charles was more than happy to help her.
Carlos Sainz helped too, because Mick was his friend and he could see that his fake girlfriend was in a state of panic that she couldn't find him.
"Hey, we'll find him."
Carlos spoke to the brunette, seeing her hands shaking whilst her breathing began to quicken. Her fingers knotted in to her hair as she started to become overwhelmed.
"I know we will." Adelina spoke in a rushed tone, panic swelling in her chest because she couldn't find her brother. "But it's the state that we'll find him in that I'm worried about."
"What do you mean?" Carlos spoke with his eyebrows furrowed together.
"I-I-" The Oliveria girl stuttered, unsure of whether she actually wanted to tell him the truth.
She still didn't know him well enough to tell him her deepest secrets, and since they were only fake dating long enough so that Lance didn't have feelings for her anymore, she didn't really see the point of telling him.
He didn't need to know. They weren't going to be getting close so there was no need.
She was always quite a reserved person, so she didn't want to immediately starting telling him her life story.
"You can trust me, you know that." Carlos spoke since he was trying to find out more about her so that he could help her find Mick.
"I just need to find Mick."
"I can help you do that."
A gasp sounded from the Portuguese woman as an idea came in to her head, making her step away from the man that she was supposedly dating.
"I need to find Sebastian. He'll know where he goes to hide when he doesn't want me to find him."
Carlos could only mutter words underneath his breath in Spanish as she ran away from him, heading towards the garage of Aston Martin.
"SEB!"
Sebastian Vettel furrowed his eyebrows together as he heard his name being called, turning his head to where Adelina Oliveria was running full speed towards him.
"Adelina?" Sebastian questioned in concern, seeing her frantic behavior.
"Where would Mick go to hide from me?" Adelina panted, since she was not a fan of running and was already out of breath.
"From you?"
"Yes."
"He wouldn't." Sebastian spoke softly, his hands gently placed on to her shoulders so that she would slow her breathing down.
"Where does he go when he only wants to see you?" Sebastian asked the young girl, waiting for a couple of moments whilst he watched her think.
He might have watched the two of them grow up, but the person who would always know the Schumacher boy the best, was Adelina.
"My car." Adelina found her eyes widening as she remembered how her brother would always hide in her car or her father's car if he wanted to speak to only her.
She remembered when he had locked himself in her father's car and refused to come out, until Adelina had joined him. He would always lock her in the car with him.
Her feet moved as quickly as they would allow her to move, her hand pulling out her car keys from her pocket so that she could unlock it.
As soon as she came to a halt in front of her car, every single bit of tension was released from her body, since her eyes met the crystal blue of her brother.
Mick Schumacher stared back at the woman that was his sister, his eyes glassy and teary. His bottom lip trembled and his knees were pulled up against his chest, his chin resting on top of his knees.
He gently leant over to the driver side door, opening the door so that she could climb in and sit beside him, which she did so with zero hesitation.
"It's been an hour and thirty seven minutes and twelve seconds." Mick muttered quietly, turning his head slightly so that he was facing her.
"I thought you were hiding from me. As soon as I realised that you weren't, I came here. So technically it's twelve seconds." Adelina gently nudged the boy beside her, seeing him roll his teary eyes at her.
"It still counts." Mick whispered, hearing a scoff leave the girls lips. "It counted when we were kids, it counts now."
"No it doesn't!" Adelina squeaked.
"Yes it does!" Mick argued, his lips twitching up slightly.
A warm feeling began to swarm in his chest as he heard her bicker with him about whether it counted or not, but he knew deep down that it didn't.
She had known where to find him after all, it said enough to him.
"Did you confront Pierre?" Mick questioned, changing the subject.
"Yes." Adelina nodded her head up and down. "And I slapped him."
"Did it hurt him?"
"I think so, it'll bruise."
"Good." Mick nodded his head once. "He's my friend but you're my sister and your dad's my uncle. He was in the wrong so I'm ignoring him."
"I'm ignoring him now too, Charles is mad at him and Yuki yelled at him in Japanese." The Oliveria girl muttered whilst she reached her hand out towards the German.
Mick didn't even need to look at the girl, to interwine their fingers together, squeezing her hand lightly.
"Seb has called me six times. I turned my phone off." Mick informed her, seeing her nod as if she knew.
"I told him I couldn't find you. He probably was trying to see if I was with you."
"Why doesn't he call you?"
"I left my phone at Ferrari whilst looking for you." Mick began to chuckle at the words that left her lips, shaking his head from side to side.
"You always leave your phone behind. It's useful when people try to get hold of you. What would Carlos do if he can't contact you?" Mick spoke, since he knew that his sister often left her phone laying around.
"What's Carlos got to do with it?"
"Um, well he is your boyfriend."
"Oh yeah." The girl spoke, her eyes widening slightly as she realised that she nearly let it slip because she had forgotten about the fact that she was supposed to be dating him.
Mick narrowed his eyes at his best friend and sister, a feeling suddenly appearing in his gut. He had a gut feeling that she wasn't telling him something.
And he was determined to find out what it was.

"Pierre has locked himself in his trailer. He is sulking."
Yuki Tsunoda spoke as he stared up at his friend, who had just gotten back from speaking to Mick, and had approached him.
"Okay."
"Carlos dropped your phone off with me by the way, so don't get panicked if you can't find your phone at Ferrari. He said that he didn't trust Charles to look after it."
A phone was handed to the girl gently, screen down so that she could see her phone case, which was a photo of her father, Mick, Pierre and herself.
A deep sigh was released from her lips at the sight of the phone case, before her fingers frantically peeled it off her phone, shoving it in to her back pocket.
"What are you doing?" Yuki questioned in concern, since he knew very well that her phone case was one of her most sentimental belongings.
He had been the one to take the photo.
"I'm not having that ass on my phone case." Adelina huffed, despite the pain that the words caused in her heart. She could feel her heart aching for her to put the phone case back on, but she couldn't.
"But it has your dad on it." Yuki spoke gently, knowing that it was one of the only photos that she had of her father since his stroke.
"I know, but it has Pierre on it too and I can't have him on my phone case after what he said." Adelina spoke, trying to make herself believe her own words. "I'll get one with your face on it instead."
"My face is too perfect for any phone case."
Yuki winked at his best friend, a grin forming on her lips as he noticed as she began to laugh at his words, looking the happiest that she had been since Pierre had been a dick.
"You know that I don't care if you're dating Carlos, right?" Yuki spoke gently to her, watching as she gave him a soft smile.
"You don't?"
"If he makes you happy then I am happy. I know Pierre will say the same once his protective brother mode is shut down." The Tsunoda boy gently wrapped his arms around his friend, sensing that she needed a hug.
Adelina nodded her head up and down at the words that left his lips. Obviously he wasn't going to make her happy, but she was able to pretend that he was. She just hoped that Pierre wouldn't figure it out that it was all fake.
Carlos wasn't even her friend. He was just somebody that she had known a little bit due to Charles.
He was somebody who she said hello to in passing. He was the person who had caught her eye in the exact moment that Lance had asked her who her boyfriend was.
He was a mistake in her life.
She would be stuck with him as her fake boyfriend for as long as it took to get Lance off her back.
And after that...
She was never going to speak to him again.
