The Beginning 3
Before we begin: Are you enjoying these nice chapters? If you are then I'm sorry to say that these nice chapters won't last. Something extremely dark is coming. If you wish to pull out...do it before it is too late or don't. Just don't blame me if you regret your decision.
You've been warned.
Now onto the story:
Luan was in the middle of a boring lecture that slowly draining the energy out of her. She wished that she could do a prank to lighten the mood, but her parents warned her that if she kept interrupting classes then she couldn't hang out with Benny. He was her soulmate and she didn't want to part with him. She wouldn't want to become like those despicable marked pariahs that still live on the streets.
Some are even seen in prison which isn't any better for them. Great. Now she was getting frustrated by their presence so now she has to think of some good joke material. Jokes were always a calm activity for her and helped deal with the stresses that come out from a regular life. She could continue thinking on this, but she had to keep taking notes so she wouldn't flunk this class.
At the same time, Lucy was busy writing in her journal while hearing some radio host praise her sports loving sister, Lynn. They always talked about her at some point in their daily programs which almost caused her to sigh in frustration. Who wouldn't if you have to hear random people start to increase her sister's massive ego? An ego that has never been stopped and has gotten worse over the years.
"I see that they're talking about your sister again." Lucy's best friend, Haiku said.
"Sigh...they do this everyday and makes my sister more unbearable to handle at home." Lucy said.
"I don't envy you for dealing with that. Speaking of your family, how's Lincoln doing?" Haiku asked. She has befriended Lincoln after the dance that happened four years ago. He helped her with some issues including stopping Clyde from being hung up with Lori.
"He's fine. He's probably going to help out Lynn and some of the others today." Lucy said. Haiku raised her eyebrow and didn't say anything. Why would she if Lucy couldn't see the major issue that was right in front of her? Besides she had had a bad feeling about something involving the Loud family. Hopefully it's nothing bad, but seeing that every bad feeling that she's had was right...it would most likely happen.
Sighing, she continued the conversation with Lucy while trying to keep that bad feeling to herself. Things will be fine. She's sure it will. Meanwhile, Lynn was busy practicing her the big game coming up.
"Looking good Lynn." Margo said as she walked inside the gym. This was the place where they often trained for sports and is where Lynn spends a majority of her time. Margo often finds her here which makes Lynn trust her a lot.
"Thanks. Just warming up for the big game coming up." Lynn said. Once she heard that, she was often reminded of the old days where she had to be dragged out of the gym. It as often her brother who did it since her other sisters were apparently busy with their own things.
"Going to bring home the gold again?" Margo said. She already knew the answer since she always brought home the gold. Well...that was a little bit of a lie. She did lose games and often blamed someone else for the loss. It took some time for her to realize that doing that would bring down her team and make her sit out on several games. Not to mention getting into jail and many other serious matters.
"There's no doubt that I would win. Just remember the rules." Lynn said. Margo had to hold back a shiver of disgust that came when she heard the last part. Her rules weren't the greatest to honor. She still remembered the times where someone almost went number two on the field due to that disgusting rule that she had back then.
"Of course. So want to hang out today?" Margo asked. Lynn nodded and quickly got up to change out of her work out clothes. As she did so, Margo stared at the bag that was being brought with her. She has been Lynn's friend for years, but knew that something about her wasn't right. Leni confirmed most of it, but there was one thing that she had to be sure of. Hopefully, her suspicion wouldn't be right...
However it seems like she would be proven right in the long run.
Hope you enjoyed the chapter...Bye 👋
