America POV 

I landed at a lake. It was frozen since it's winter. I decided to skate a little to cool off. There was a little bit of snow on the lake, but everything else was covered. I saw a cliff by the lake so I flew up there. I sat on the edge and looked all around, it was a good view up here. I kind of wanted to jump off to stretch my wings again but, I was a bit tired. I guess I have to go back to my dorm. As soon as I got up a sharp pain started in my stomach.

Ame: Gah!

Ame: ugh

Well I'm definitely not walking. I sat back down. I thought I heard something, and then I slipped off the edge. I reacted quickly and stretched out my wings and started flying. I grabbed the edge with my hand.

I ripped my wing a bit..

Well that hurts. A lot. I guess I am walking home.

I pulled myself onto the edge and backed away. Great. When I fell I hurt my wing and scratched my knee on the edge. A lot of blood was coming out. I pulled off one of the bandages on my leg and wrapped it around the new wound.

Great. Just great.

Now I can't walk or fly.

I guess I will wait here. I looked at my watch. Only 12:32

So I have time luckily no school today. Winter break but we can stay at the dorms. I definitely don't want to see dad. It's a 50 50 chance he's happy or mad. So I decided to stay. I probably will visit tomorrow when he's not drunk. I thought he hated alcohol though? He lied to me which hurt me more.

This time an actually heard footsteps.

Canada: AME?

Russia: Come on let's check over here.

Canada: Ame! Why did you leave!?

Ame: Leave me alone.

Canada: Not this time. Come on you will freeze out here!

Ame: No!

I grabbed his hand and threw it off I stood up. It was hard & painful, but anything to get away. I stood steady then I flew into the air.

I groaned. This hurt more than anything. I felt a sharp pain then my wing failed. I landed back on the cliff.

Ame: ughh. Stupid wing.

Canada: Come on Ame! You injured your knee & wing!

Ame: I'm not going anywhere! I walked past them. But Russia stopped me.

Russia: Ame. Please just come back! What's bothering you?

Ame: Nothing! Let me go!

Canada: No

I took a few steps back (still hurting my knee)

And ran past them. I ran as fast as I could not caring about my knee and it's pain right now. All I wanted to do was get away. As far as I could. Although it hurt so bad I wanted to get away. Then everything went black. I must've blacked out from the cold. Because I woke up in my bed. Maybe it was a dream? I looked at my wing. Nope. Wasn't a dream.

I felt a sharp pain in my knee.

Definitely was not a dream. I groaned. This hurt so bad.

Canada: he's awake!

I saw Canada, France, New Zealand & Australia. What was my almost complete family doing here? Wait if they are here does that mean..

Ame: Is Britain Here!?

I shot up from my bed.

France: Calm down hun. He's not here dear.

Ame: oh..ok.

France: lay back down.

Ame: I'm fine..

I stood up and sat back down immediately. Well that hurt a lot

New Zea: Still good?

Ame: shut up..

Aussie: it's ok Ame. What happened anyway?

Ame: nothing.

Canada: told you.

Aussie: shush. Ame if you don't tell us we can't help you.

Ame: I don't need help.

New Zea: You do, Ame.

France: Come on, dear. Don't be stubborn.

Ame: I'm not stubborn. I do not need help. Please, everyone. Leave.

France: Seulement du sapin ce soir chérie ( Only for tonight dear. )

Ame: whatever. Just please leave.

New Zea: See you tomorrow big bro!

Aussie: See you later Alligator!

Canada: Bye bro.

Ame: bye, guys.

As they left the room I sighed. Great. I have an injured wing & scratched knee. The whole school probably knows. Now what? At least we have winter break. Ehh I will be fine. I tried standing back up again. A lot of pain. I guess I will just sleep. Then I heard knocking on my door.

Ame: Who is ittt.

Russia: Is me.

Ame: what do you want Russia?.

Russia: can I come in?

Ame: yeah I guess.

He walked into my room.

Ame: what did you need?

Russia: what was that?

Ame: get out, if that's all you wanna talk about.

Russia: alright. I won't talk about that. But you haven't eaten anything for 2 days! All you drank was 1 cup of water, what's that about? That's super unhealthy!

Ame: no reason 

I looked at my arms & legs and looked back up at him.

Russia: well If I bring you something will you eat it?

Ame: depends what it is.

Russia: well, what's your favorite food?

Ame: heyy! That's cheating!

We both laughed we ate, talked, and I blushed for a second but quickly wiped it away.

Then when we were choosing a movie I almost fell on him. Luckily he caught me.

Ame: so what movie?

Russia: what about this one? I think it's American.

Ame: yeah it is, wanna watch it?

Russia: Da.

Ame: alright. I have the remote, want popcorn?

Russia: I can get it for us!

We watched movies for about 3 hours & played games. We hanged out & had a sleepover in my room.

The next day

America POV 

I was awakened by my anxiety. I thought I felt someone standing over me. I guess I was wrong, it was 5 minutes before my alarm would go off. I slowly got off the bed, being careful with my knee.  I put on my shirt & hoodie and quietly walked out my room. I grabbed an apple from the table and quietly put my shoes on. I opened the door quietly seeing my family was in my dorm still, sleeping on the couches. I was walking down the hallway when I ran into Germany.

Germany: Your up this early?

Ame: I'm just going to my "tree at the park"

Germany: okay! Be careful with your knee.

Ame: I will.

I wasn't actually going to my tree in my park, I was going to my getaway. (Corrected by: DangoHeart.)

I was walking near the wood when I heard the same sound I heard at the cliff. Hmm there's nothing there? Maybe just my imagination. I walked to my tree house. Maybe my wing was healed enough for me to fly up without it hurting. ( it's just a cut like on his knee )

I tried and I guess it must've healed over night. I flew up there and sat down on my beanbag. I ate my apple and just sat there. Then I heard another pair of wings. Maybe liberty? Nope.

Kazakhstan: Canada told me where to find you! I have a question!

Ame: yeah Kazakhstan?

I'm gonna call him kaz ok? It's hard to spell his whole name.

Kaz: I was wondering if you've seen my goggles?

Ame: yeah, actually I have.

Kaz: can you pls tell me!

Ame: of course! It's on my counter my dorm should be unlocked. You left them on the park bench.

Kaz: Thank you thank you thank you! Can I grab a drink?

Ame: of course. Here. Bye kaz!

Kaz: thanks! Bye.
