The police searched the whole city but failed in finding her.

The policeman who saw her there that day remembered everything that happened, once again, and realized that the girl he had seen there in the forest was the murderer.

The next day the cops visited the place where they saw her last night, but she was nowhere to be seen.

Finally, when all their hopes were gone, they returned. They couldn't find her.

They hoped the girl would be safe somewhere, and they believed she is safe because they had no other choice.

No one knew anything about her since then, even if she is alive or not.

Everybody wonders where she is.

They still hope that the two young souls are happy, wherever they are.
