(Dwayne's view)

I sucked in a breath as we arrived back at my childhood home, it had been a long time since I had been home and I was nervous.

"You alright pal?" Crow asked, as he noticed how bad I was trembling.

"I haven't seen my parents for almost a year, I'm worried they won't recognize me." I said, and he squeezed my shoulder comfortingly.

"Aww, don't worry, I have a feeling that they'll be super happy to see you." he said, and I nodded with a nervous gulp.

"A-Alright, let's go." I said, as I looked around nervously.

"D, you're gonna be fine." Crow said, as we continued walking toward my house.

"Okay," I said, as I climbed the steps and knocked on the door which opened to reveal my parents.

"Hi mom, I'm home." I said, and they both wrapped their arms around me in a tight hug.

"Oh Dwayne," my mother sobbed, as she buried her face into my shoulder.

"I missed you mom." I said, as we broke the hug and smiled at each other.

"Dwayne?" I let go of my mother as the tears poured down my cheeks.

"Dad," I said, as he pulled me into a bone crushing hug.

"Oh Dwayne, how's my little warrior?" my dad asked, as he let his own tears fall.

"I missed you dad." I said, as I smiled at him softly.

"We missed you too, son, we had feared that you had disappeared the same way as Enola had." he said, as he and my mom smiled at me sadly.

"We're so happy to have you home." my mother said, once we were all sitting down on the couch together.

"I'm happy to be home, I really missed you guys." I said, as I smiled at them softly.

"I think about her a lot." I said, and they nodded sadly.

"We do too, it just doesn't get any easier." my mother said, and my father squeezed her hand in his.
"I know dear, but we must continue to have hope." he said, and my mother nodded, as she wiped her eyes with her free hand.

"It's okay mom, we'll find her." I said, as I squeezed her hand.

"I hope so, I don't know how much more pain my heart can take." she said, and I kissed her cheek.

"I really hope we'll find her." I said, before smiling at them one last time and making my way upstairs to bed.
