- can we please just pretend all the drama happens a day later? This is like a filler chapter and a bit more insight into Klaus and Sloane's relationship -

Klaus and Sloane are seen spooning (Klaus is the big spoon) while Sloane is sleeping and Klaus is awake, softly running his hands through her hair and staring at her with a soft smile, occasionally kissing her head. 

"That's kinda creepy"

"Don't be mean Stefan, you're just jealous"

Sloane (with her eyes closed): it's rude to stare, you know.

Klaus' smile widens.

Klaus: I'm not staring, I'm just admiring the view.

Sloane turns around in Klaus's arms and opens one eye sleepily.

Sloane: is that so?

Klaus buries his face in her neck and hums softly. Now it was Sloane who was running her fingers through Klaus's hair.

The Mystic Falls group were starting at Klaus, they'd never seen the man so calm and peaceful.

After a couple of minutes, you can tell Klaus is starting to doze off and Sloane is almost asleep as well.

It's now brighter outside and Klaus and Sloane are in the same position as before.

Sloane wakes up first this time and she looks at the man in her arms with a smile, she was the only person around who Klaus let his guard down, around. She sighs happily as Klaus slightly moves in his sleep and makes him even closer to her if that was even possible.

"Wow you're like a clingy puppy" Caroline tells Klaus and he glares at her while Sloane fake coughs to cover up her laugh.

So Sloane just lay there, holding the person she loved so deeply. She knew they would have to get up soon and face the world, but she didn't want to think about that right now, shifting her attention to Klaus as she pressed a soft kiss to his hair.

Klaus: Now who's staring?

His voice was partially muffled due to his face being in her neck, and his eyes were still closed.

Sloane: I'm not staring, I'm just admiring the view.

Klaus lifts his head so that their faces were only inches apart.

Sloane (softly): Morning

Klaus: morning

He kisses her so softly that she practically melts as she kisses him back the same way.

"NO, TOO MUCH FOR MY INNOCENT EYES" Blaise and Sirius yell out and Remus and Theo just roll their eyes at their respective partners.

When they pull away, Sloane places her head on Klaus's chest.

Sloane: I'm hungry

Klaus: Pancakes?

Sloane nods and Klaus cups her face with his hands and caresses her cheeks with his thumbs.

He kisses her once more before getting out of bed.

Sloane: Can you put chocolate chips in it?

Sloane makes puppy dog eyes at Klaus which she knows he can't resist. So he goes downstairs grumpily muttering about how he can't say no to her. Sloane giggles softly when she hears him.

"She's got him wrapped around her finger" James whispers to Sirius and Remus.

After a couple of minutes, even she gets out of bed and goes downstairs in one of Klaus's shirts and shorts.

A boy whistles in the great hall and Sloane keeps a firm grip on Klaus' hand before he can go and kill the guy.

"Calm down Nik, he's just a kid"

She sees Klaus making her food while Kol is teasing his brother and trying to steal the food which results in Klaus threatening to use a dagger on him again.

"You should come up with more stuff Nik, the dagger thing gets repetitive," Kol says.

"Wow, you know big words like repetitive?" Klaus retorts.

Kol comes up to Sloane and wraps an arm around her shoulders.

Kol: Oh Sloane, you don't know what he was like before he met you. Always sulking around and crying about how he wants to meet you

Klaus: I was not crying, and I don't sulk around!

"Yeah you were" Rebekah, Elijah, and Kol say.

Sloane: Aww so I'm not that important?

Klaus: That's not what I-

Kol: Forget it Nik, you've done the damage

Sloane: I'm just so hurt right now

Sloane makes a sad face and Kol pulls her into a side hug as she buries her face in his shoulder.

Kol: There there

Kol says while patting her head

"You guys are so dramatic"

Klaus pushes Kol off of Sloane and pushes him out of the house.

Klaus: Why don't you go to the bar and have a few drinks and maybe consider finding someplace else to live?

Kol: Bye Slo-

Kol is cut off by Klaus slamming the door in his face.

Everyone starts laughing at that while Kol pouts while hiding a smile. 

Sloane (laughing): You're jealous

Klaus: Nonsense, love

Sloane (in a teasing voice): The big bad hybrid is jealous-

Sloane is cut off by Klaus speeding towards her and placing her on the kitchen counter.

Klaus: I. Am. Not. Jealous.

Sloane raises her eyebrows in a mocking look and he kisses her hard, causing her to gasp in surprise, and he slips his tongue in her mouth.

"Woah, too much"

Lily just glared at the screen, she still didn't understand why Sloane liked Klaus so much.

A few moments later, they both pull away, panting slightly. Klaus plays with a strand of her hair while she rests her arms around his neck.

Klaus: I want to take you out somewhere today

Sloane: Klaus Mikelson, are you asking me on a date?

Klaus: Maybe

Sloane: Then I'll maybe come

Klaus: Wear something warm

Klaus kisses her forehead before turning back to cooking.

- time skip to a dressed Klaus and Sloane in the car-

Sloane: Can you please tell me where we're going??

Klaus: Have some patience, little wolf

Sloane: Can I just get a tiny hint

Klaus: it's not in Mystic Falls

Sloane: Can I get aux?

Klaus: N-

But before Klaus could finish, Sloane was already connecting her phone, and seconds later, One Direction started playing

Sloane: SO GET OUT GET OUT, GET OUT OF MY HEAD AND FALL INTO MY ARMS INSTEAD!!

Some muggleborns start singing along to the music.

Klaus groans and rolls his eyes, but really, he loves when Sloane sings, even when it's way too loud.

After some time, Klaus pulls into the parking lot of a building.

Sloane looks at the sign and squeals in joy.

Sloane: we're going ice skating??!!

Klaus gets out of the car and speeds over to Sloane's side and opens the door for her and she gets out as well before giving him a little kiss.

Klaus smiles at her and goes to the trunk of the car and gets out 2 pairs of ice skates.

Sloane: Where'd you get those from?

Klaus: I stopped by your house earlier for yours and bought mine

Sloane jumps on Klaus and hugs him tightly.

Sloane: thank you, this is the nicest thing someone has done for me

Klaus: I'd do anything for you, my love

"You guys are too cute!"

Daisy and lily just roll their eyes.

Sloane pulls away and smiles at him before grabbing his hand and pulling him to the rink, to which he laughs and lets her lead him.

When they go in, there's no one there.

Sloane: how many people did you compel?

Klaus: Just a few

Sloane raises an eyebrow at Klaus and he just smiles at her causing her to roll her eyes half-heartedly.

Sloane: I don't believe you but ok

They both sit down and begin to tie their skates. Sloane finishes first and looks at Klaus.

Sloane: what are you doing????

Klaus: tying my laces

Sloane: You're doing it all wrong! Have you never ice skated before??

Klaus: love, they're just laces

"That's completely wrong" a half blood says.

Sloane: you can hurt yourself!

"Are you seriously worried about him getting hurt from ice skating?"

Klaus: I'm a hybrid

Sloane: shh, let me tie them.

Sloane ties his laces for him and then gets on the ice with ease.

But as soon as Klaus sets foot on the ice, he falls backwards. Sloane starts laughing at him and stands in front of him, offering him her hand.

Everyone starts laughing and Klaus glares at the screen.

Sloane looks at him and kisses his cheek "it's ok love, I'll teach you how to ice skate"

And then just like that, all of Klaus' anger vanishes.

Klaus: I didn't think it would be this hard

Klaus takes Sloane's hand and stands up, wobbling a bit but Sloane keeps him in place.

Sloane: I wish people could see this. The great Klaus Mikealson can't skate.

Klaus: So you think I'm great?

"You are so full of yourself"

"You shouldn't be the one to talk, Damon"

Sloane: is that the only thing you heard?

Klaus: You didn't answer my question

Sloane: you didn't answer mine either

"The fact that you guys are already fighting like a married couple"

Sloane slowly starts to skate backward, still holding Klaus' hands and he manages to not fall.

Sloane: I can't believe you've been alive for 1000 years and you've never skated before

"Could you teach me how to skate?" Rebekah asks Sloane.

"Of course!"

Rebekah smiles at Sloane, the first real friend she has, the only one who's never seen the bad in her, the only one who's never betrayed her.

After skating around for a bit, they both leave and Klaus reassures Sloane that they'll come back soon.

Sloane turns to Klaus as soon as they get in the car.

Sloane: where are we going now?

Klaus: somewhere

"So vague"

Sloane: that didn't help at all

Klaus: I know

Sloane: I hate you

"Liar"

"Yeah, you totally hate him"

Klaus: No you don't

Sloane: No I don't

Klaus smiles at a pouting Sloane and pecks her lips

Klaus: don't pout, little wolf. You'll love this

After driving for a while, Klaus stops in front of a forest. Again, he gets out of the car and opens the door for Sloane.

Sloane: what are we doing here?? You know this is how every horror movie starts, right?

"Five bucks she gets killed" Ron whispers and Harry smacks the back of his head and Hermione hits him with her book.

Klaus pulls out a blindfold for her.

Sloane: Absolutely not.

Klaus: trust me, love

"Honestly Nik, you're not the most trustworthy person" Rebekah says.

"That's the understatement of the century" Elijah says.

Sloane huffs but puts it on anyways. Klaus starts to lead her into the forest.

Sloane: I'm scared

Klaus: don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you

Klaus leads her to a clearing where he takes her blindfold off and she gasps at the sight.

There was a table in the middle with all sorts of food on it and there were fairy lights all around them.

"If he wanted to, he would"

Sloane: when did you have time to do this??

Klaus: I have my ways... Do you like it?

Sloane turns to Klaus with a huge smile on her face.

Sloane: I love it.

Klaus looks relived at that and he leads her to the table where they both sit and eat while talking about random stuff.

Later, Klaus is seen carrying a sleeping Sloane to the car and gently putting her in the backseat so that she could lie down properly. Sloane stirs a bit when he puts her down but goes back to sleep.

Klaus smiles down at her and kisses her head.

Klaus: I love you more than you could ever know, little wolf...

"I love you too" Sloane whispers to Klaus.
