Percy's POV
Olympus
"Percy?"
I froze.
"Percy?" My father asked with hope. I slowly moved my eyes away from Artemis to look at my father, when I did that I heard a gasp and him slowing de-aging.
"Dad." When I said that he leaped from his thrown reverting to his human form and gave me a bone-crushing hug which I gladly returned.
After a few minutes, someone cleared their throat making us release from our hug.
I looked around the Thrown room and found my loving uncle crackling with lightning.
"You dare kiss my daughter, Sea Spawn?!" Zeus yelled summoning his Master Bolt.
I said what any guy would have in my situation.
"Yep." All of the occupants in the room either facepalmed or laughed exempt the unhappy Drama Queen.
"Why you little-" He started only to be cut off by the most unlikely Goddess.
"I approve of them," Hera said with a nothing motherly like smile.
"Hera?" Zeus asked bewildered.
"I agree brother," Hestia said with a smile. She made her way off her thrown towards me in her human form. As she made her way towards me I saw she had sorrow in her eyes.
"I am sorry Percy," Hestia said hugging me.
"It's okay mom," I said.
Silence.
"I'm sorry I thought you just called Hestia mom," Poseidon said shaking his head.
"Because I did."
Artemis's POV
~~~Flashback~~~
Paris, France
For our 3 year anniversary, Percy took me to Paris.
I know cheesy.
He and I roamed the city all day visiting historical landmarks and of course the Eiffel Tower. It would have been the best day just going to the Eiffel Tower, but of course, Percy wanted to take it a bit farther.
He didn't want to be like everyone else.
He didn't want our relationship to end up like all of our family had.
He wanted up to last forever.
And so did I.
After we had left the Eiffel Tower we started to walk around and explore. We ended up making our way to a bridge where people were being proposed to and locking their love. We had arrived at the Pont des Arts.
I looked around and saw thousands of locks. And through the mist, I could see most of them had been unlocked meaning their love didn't last.
I was sad and mad about all those broken promises when Percy took my hand and led me away from the bridge. When the bridge was finally out of sight he looked at me smiled.
"It's not your fault all those promises were broken Artemis." He said softly.
"I know," I whispered.
"Then what's wron-" He stopped talking and looked at me and that's when the first to my many tears fell. "Hey, that's not what's going to happen to us."
"How do you know?" I demanded to which he grinned.
"Because you and I are forbidden. Anyone and everyone will try to keep up apart, but you and I are too stubbed to let that happen." He admitted. "The girl I was in love with cheated on me and broke me. I isolated myself for 9 years before you came along and broke down the walls that I had built. You gave me someone to love and someone who loved me back. I admit I thought you were lying when you did know who I was, but looking back now... I'm happy you didn't know." Glaring at him he hurling said, "I'm glad you didn't remember because for once I was myself and wasn't looked at in any way, but your eyes. Those locks aren't us." He reached into his bag on his back and brought out a box that contained a lock and looked into my eyes. "We didn't come here to see the Eiffel Tower, we came here to lock this for the rest of eternity."
"What?" I whispered with tears still falling.
"I brought you here to prove to you that I love you more than anything in the world. I admit that I didn't tell you everything about me." I looked at him in curiosity.
"Tell me." I squeezed his hand and smiled trying not to waver.
"After I found out my mother died, Hestia found me." He said not meeting my eyes. "She knew what had happened and confronted me. After about a week of her cheering me up, Hera found us." He looked into my eyes and smiled. "They fixed me a little bit."
"How?"
"They adopted me." I looked at him in disbelief.
"Your telling me that Hera, Queen of the Heavens adopted you a Son of Poseidon?" I asked shocked.
"She said she had always admired me, but couldn't show it in front of everyone so she kept it secret." We just looked into each other's eyes for a few minutes before I kissed him.
"What was that for?" He asked resting his forehead on mine.
"For telling me. For loving me. And most of all..." I paused and took a deep breath before whispering in his ear. "For fixing me."
We stayed there for about a week before we left. We never locked our love on the bridge but decided to start a new tradition and keep the lock in a place only he and I knew about and kept the key.
Percy wears it to remember our love.
~~~Flashback Over~~~
"What?" My uncle asked with wide eyes.
"Percy was adopted after Sally and Paul died," I told him.
Poseidon turned to his older sister and embraced her with tears running down his face.
"Thank you." He told her.
"I'm not the only one that has that title," Hestia stated smiling.
"Who did it? Who adopted him to give him even more power?!" My father demanded.
"I did," Hera stated smiling.
"What?!" Zeus thundered.
"I adopted him." She went from sweet to scary in about 1 second sending chills down everyone's spine. "And before you go and try to kill let me just say that he is the reason I have not tried to kill any of your offspring that you have been having since he left. In my eyes if you can have affairs with other women, then I can adopt one son. If you even think about laying a hand on him in any way, I won't have to worry about you having any more demigod children."
At that, all the males in the room (excluding Percy) covered themselves knowing what Hera said wasn't a threat. It was a promise. Everyone else just laughed at them while Hera smirked wickedly.
"Now that that's out of the way..." Percy said nervously.
"Percy and I are dating," I said causing my brother and father to choke on air.
"What?!" That both yelled.
"What about your oath!" My father demanded.
"I will wait forever for her." He stated glaring at my father who gulped but quickly tried to cover it up only to fail.
"Father... I love him more than anything. Please just let us explain where I have been and how our relationship started. Please?" I pleaded with him.
Percy walked over to me and embraced me while the rest of the cousin took a seat in their thrown's.
"Alright we will hear you out then we'll decide what to do about... this." My father sneered.
Over the next few hours, Percy and I explained everything that had happened in the past 15 years, with some interruptions *cough* Zeus *cough* that was quickly quieted. After we finished Percy remind me and informed the council of something that had just happened.
"Earlier Artemis said we were dating but she didn't exactly tell you the whole truth." Percy began only for the council to lean forward in anticipation with our hands still holding hands. "The night before we found the nymph Artemis and I were at the beach." I smiled and continued.
"While at the beach he took us to the fact spot where he found me or rather I found him and gave me this." I showed off the ring on my left hand and almost all my fellow Olympians were smiling.
Except for my father.
"Father I know you're mad, but I don't care. I love Percy and if that means I have to give up my hunters..." I looked over at Percy and made eye contact. "I would give them up to be with him."
"Artemis-" Percy started.
"You are the first man in three millennia to ever catch my eye and made me believe not all males are pigs. That there is at least one decent male in the world." I said narrowing my eyes but smiling at the end.
"Although I'm not happy about this relationship and Perseus not bringing Artemis back when he found her... I guess I'm okay with this." Father said frowning.
Percy and I turn to each other and embraced while I and probably he was smiling like idiots.
"However," my father started making us break apart, "you are not to reveal yourself to the camp as they already think Artemis is accompanied by Mason, not Percy."
"Although you both may stay together and be a couple, Percy must keep his new facade on at all time which also means you cannot reveal yourself to anyone else."
"Now if that is everything, council dismissed." With that, I flashed out of the room filled with a few others but leaving 10 Olympians to congratulate/welcome us back.
After about an hour of talking to everyone, Percy turned back into Mason and we flashed back to Camp Half-Blood in the Dining Pavilion in front of the Hunt with everyone looking at Mason and I holding hands.
"Artemis?" My Lieutenant asked with hope clear in her eyes while the rest of the Hunters were glaring at Chase or me.
"Hello, Thalia."
