•Daniella's POV•

She watched as Alexander paced back and forth obviously irritated.

"This all makes sense now." Alex said suddenly causing everyone in the room to look at him.

"What does?" Anna asked softly.

"She doesn't feel our bond because of him."

"I don't think a fake bond can stop her from feeling her beloved's bond." She said and Daniella scowled. Yes, she didn't know exactly what they were talking about, but they shouldn't talk about her like she wasn't there.

"Can you just tell us why you're pretending to be dead?" Erik questioned suddenly and Daniella stayed quiet.

"Ella, please, want to help you. I would never let anything ever happen to you." Alexander said softly placing his hand on her cheek and she flinched back, but let his hand stay there. Something about the way his smooth, yet cold hand felt on cheek lighten something in her stomach. The way the nickname rolled off his tongue left her almost shivering.

"Ella?"

"I - I can't." Her voice cracked. She wouldn't cry, but she definitely could hear her own heart pounding in her chest. She's been by herself for so long and this man took her while she was sleeping. Daniella knew she couldn't trust him.

Alexander refused to let the hurt show on his face and decided to make his face completely void of emotion. "You don't really have a choice anymore in the matter. If you don't tell us you'll be responsibility for every single person's death in this whole place." Alexander told her and she froze.

She didn't want to be the cause of another person's death. First her parents, then her brother, no one else.

"Fine, I'll tell you." Daniella said glaring at him. "I couldn't have anyone holding me back when I was trying to hide from Lucas, so the best thing to do was to go missing and so I did. In result everyone from my family has died. There is that the story you wanted?"

Erik bursted out laughing making Dani glare at him. There was nothing funny about any of that. It was his disgusting kind that ruined her life. She could be a normal college student with a loving family and a nice job or internship, but she can't all because of them.

"Erik." Alexander said sternly and he immediately stop laughing.

"Lucius would never go to such lengths for a human. Let's stop letting this human treat us as if we're imbeciles."

"Lord Windsord, I'm sorry, but I must agree. Lucius was always speaking down on humans so there's no way he would go through that much trouble for her. You may because she's your beloved but she isn't his so it wouldn't make sense." Anna said softly and Alex sighed.

"He's dead, yet he marked a human. He hates humans, yet he killed a whole family just to get to one. He said he loved you sister, yet he broke your heart."Alexander said so lightly taking a sip of some whiskey that a maid handed to him. Anna stumbled back obviously surprised by his statement. "Now is there anything else anyone would like to point out about a supposively alive man?"

"And how long do you think till he arrives?" A masculine voice asked and everything and everyone in the room froze. Daniella stared at the red eyes in amazement and fear. It's been years since her last encounter with him and he doesn't looked like he's aged a single day except his blonde hair was much shorter than before.

"Lucius, welcome it's such a pleasure to see you again. " Alexander greeted holding his arms open with fake smile on his face.

"You don't seem very surprised to see me alive." He replied and Daniella felt goosebumps appear on her body just from hearing his voice. His voice was like silk, strong, yet soft.

"I don't get surprised easily." Alexander said and Lucius only smirked.

"How have you been?" Anna asked softly and his red eyes snapped to hers for a second before landing back on Daniella.

"Let's skip the fake welcomes. We all know why I am here so just hand her over and we won't have any problems." Lucius said stretching his arms above his head, which was a motion Alexander knew he would do when he was bored.

"I see you must be mistaken because there isn't anything here that belongs to you." Erik stated confidently and Lucius turned his head to the side and let his red eyes skim over Erik's face carefully.

"Ah I see someone has finally stopped hiding behind his brother. When did that happen before or after you tried to kill me?" The shock showed on Erik's face as he stayed silent.

"Lets not be so bitter, Lucius." Alexander said rolling his eyes before taking another sip of his whisky."But since it seems you have no intention of catching up we can just go to the real reason why you're here." He says setting his glass on the beautiful, stone fireplace.

"So why did you claim a human?" Alexander asked and looking down at the fireplace next to him.

"Why does it matter?" He retorted immediately. Lucius couldn't help but letting his eyes automatically lock onto Daniella's beautiful figure again. It was strange to see her with any hair color other than her natural orange. It was amusing to see that she went that far to keep him from finding her. Though he can't say he was angry because who doesn't love a good game?

"I'm just curious because you ruined my meal."Alexander said carelessly causing Dani to look at him. He's never tried to drink from her so why was he lying? She wondered, noticing how his eyes were darkening like Lucius'.

"You didn't drink from her." He responded certainly.

"Yes, because she started to throw up the second I touched her waist."

"You should've of smelled my scent on her from the beginning." Lucas said.

"Maybe if you didn't mask the scent he could have." Erik retorted and he only smirked in response. Daniella didn't know what to do in this situation. If she ended up being taken by Lucias again he would kill her for running. She needed to sneak out of here somehow, but it was nearly impossible with Lucius looking at her every five seconds.

"Right it seems I did do that. But how about we end this pointless conversation now. I'm ready for Daniella and I to leave. " Alexander kept calm at his statement and tried to think of a way to stop this. Even though he was the king he couldn't break the law and keep a vampire from his chosen mate even if it was his real one.

"Oh are you all finally ready to stop talking about me like I'm not here?" Daniella asked and everyone in the room went silent.

"Ah I see you grew a tongue." Luke said and she held back her fear and stood up straighter.

"Yes, well I got tired of hearing all of you act so sickly sweet towards each other. I'm not going with any of you. I'm going to leave this place by myself and go across the world. Somewhere will none of you are going to follow me and won't ever bother me again. " Daniella said seriously and a wry smile appeared on Lucius face.

"That's cute. You think you actually have a choice in the matter. You're coming with me."

"You can't force her to go with you." Anna interrupted, surprising everyone.

"Yes, I can because she is mine." He hissed, flashing his fangs.

"Actually she's mine." Alexander said with an indescribable look on his face.

The room went silent as the two stared at each other trying to show dominance. Alexander's eyes were now a dark blue and he stood up much straighter as he bared his fangs.

"You do realize what the punishment is for treating your king in such a way?" Alexander hissed and Lucius snarled before standing up straighter and tightening his tie.

"I'll leave for now, but don't think for one second that you will take something that's mine from me." Leaving at that he was gone in less than a second after giving Daniella one last look.

The room stayed silent as Erik disappeared along with Anna directly after. Dani felt as if the silence was suffocating.

"I -"

"You - " They both stopped talking before Alexander cleared his throat.

"I will have one of the maids bring a bag up to your room. Be prepared we're leaving at dawn. " Alexander states before leaving the room as well, leaving Dani standing there. At this point she wasn't shaking anymore, but she did feel afraid. Suddenly a thought crossed her mind. What if she got one of those guys in the basement out? Maybe they could beat Alexander and could help her escape. She had to leave here before dawn.

Daniella made her way upstairs back to the door at the end of the hall and took the path back to the other section. She opened the large, silver door and enter. As soon as the door shut behind her and she flicked the lights on she regretted it. She should of came down here, she thought shaking her head. There the men were, sitting on the ground leaning against the bars towards the back.

"Kyle?" She whispered staring at the almost lifeless body.

"Izzy?" His weak reply came and she shook her head and kneeled on the ground in front of his cage.

"What's wrong? What happened to you guys?" She questioned and he let out a dark chuckle, letting a sinister smile appear on his face.

"What's wrong? What's wrong is we're being starved to death, tortured and beaten with silver. Oh and the best part is we're locked in a basement of a leech." Kyle snarled, a deep growl releasing from the back of his throat caused her to jump and her heart to start racing dramatically in her chest.

"Are you like him?" She asked softly and he narrowed his eyes.

"I'm nothing like that leech. He sucks blood from innocent human beings. Do I really look that awful for you to accuse me of such things?" He asked, resting his arm on his knee.

"No," She stated taking a close look at him. "I want to get you out of here, all of you." She looked at the others who were watching her carefully, including Will.

"And how do we know we can even trust you? You were running from him that one day. He wanted you and unless you tell us the exact reason why you'll end up like the rest of them." Will responded nodding his head towards the cellar.

"I don't know exactly. I can tell you one thing, i'm important to all of them for some reason. I don't know why, but I don't care to stay and find out. Alexander is planning on leaving here by dawn and if we aren't out of here by then I think all of our futures will be certain for death before the end of the month." Daniella told them all confidently.

Don't stop; keep going. Jacob's voice rang through her head and she tightly closed her eyes.

"Listen, I never wanted any of this. If you guys do then that's fine I can go back up there and pretend I never met you guys. Be prepared though because it will get worse, it always does." Daniella added before standing up.

"Wait."Kyle's voice rang out through the room and she focused on him. "I want out. Get me out of this cage and I can promise you protection."

"Kyle! What the hell?"

"Alpha Clyde will never allow it." David snarled and Kyle stood up looking straight at him.

"You're right, but if he founds out she saved us he may just change his mind."

"Our job isn't to protect humans." David hissed, glaring at her. She  couldn't help but flinch back at the look.

"We can made an exception." Kyle told him and she hesitated at the thought of grabbing the set of keys and letting them out. They didn't even want to save her.

"I promise we'll help you Izzy." Kyle said and she nodded her head slowly and grabbed the set of keys off the hook. She stood directly in front of the bars and started trying different keys about twenty minutes later she  couldn't help but feel hopeless.

"The keys not in here." She mumbled shaking her head and stepping away.

"Wait, please just try one more." He asked and she gave him one long lol and sighed. She looked at all the keys she didn't use and grabbed the one that looked a little different from them all. It was shaped almost m exactly the same as the other ones, but at the middle of the key was two letters: AW.

She stuck the key into the lock and her eyes widened when it went in perfectly. Turning the key, relief immediately filled her as the sound of it unlocking filled the room. She opened the door and Kyle stood there staring at her for a solid minute.

"What?" Daniella asked, not liking the fact that he was just staring at her.

"You must be an angel." He almost yelled, lifting her up and spinning her around.

"Shut the hell up and get us out." David muttered and Kyle ignored him, resting his hands on her waist, looking her in the eyes. Daniella was surprised when she didn't get that sick feeling. Was it only Alexanders kind who could make her feel so disgusted?

"All I did was let you out of a cell, I don't think that makes me an angel." Dani said feeling awkward being so close to the man. He seemed to realize her discomfort and released her. She decided to take the time and quickly let the other two out. 

"If you bring her back to the pack house you're only going to make the Alpha mad." David said and she furrowed her eyebrows. Pack house? Alpha?  What if she made a mistake letting them out? She thought looking carefully at David as she unlocked and opened the door. 

"Now how are we suppose to get out of here? Because from what I remember there's stairs that take us out of here and then more stairs that lead us to the main floor." Kyle said and she bit her lip thinking about it.

"If we can get ourselves out the front door which is located on the main floor then all we have to worry about is how to get far away from this place." Daniella said and Will finally pitched in.

"See we have a ride, you on the other hand are going to have to work out yours." Will said with a dark smirk and her eyebrows furrowed in confusion as she finally unlocked his cage.

"But -" Before she could continue Kyle cut in.

"She can ride on my back." Kyle wiggled his eyebrows at her and Dani just stared at him not really understanding why he did that.

"Will, you're the only one really strong enough to take her." David said, not looking very happy of the idea of a human with them. "Plus the Alpha won't be very mad if you're the one carrying her." It was true that Will was the strongest one here since he was the best fighter in the pack, Kyle thought before sighing 

"You want me to carry a filthy human on my back? You know that is forbidden." He hissed and Kyle held back the urge to his him. 

"Stop being a prick and just do it. If there's a problem I can take the blame and everything can go on me."Kyle told him and he only snorted in response.

"If there's a problem? Please we all know there will be one." David said and Daniella sighed, tired of hearing people argue.

"Let's go. We don't have time for this." Daniella said, placing the keys on their hooks and shutting off the lights. No one complained as she did so and she quietly opened the large door. Part of her felt bad for them since Alexander left the keys in such an obvious place, almost like he was taunting them that their freedom was merely two feet away from them. 

"We should've of went through everything before this." Kyle muttered and she couldn't help but silently agree. Daniella wondered what they meant when they said ride on their backs, did they really want to run? Alexander was fast, too fast. He would catch them in minutes if not seconds. They made it up the stairs and she looked towards the right, sighing in relief when she didn't see anyone upstairs. Slowly they walked across the second floor and went to the opposite staircase.

"All we have to do is make it down these and then go right. Be quiet when you go past the door. It leads to another set of stairs that go down to Alexanders office where i'm pretty sure he is right now." Daniella warned before heading down the stairs.

"This man has so many staircases in such weird places." Kyle muttered and David slapped his arm, muttering to him to be quiet.

"Your Majesty, I was just about to bring you - " The maid stopped mid bow as she looked at the three men behind her. Daniella could see she was about to run off to Alexander and panicked. Will suddenly pressed a point on her neck causing her to fall to the ground.

"What did you do?" She asked, catching the maid in her arms. Will suddenly grabbed Dani's wrist, staring at her directly in the eyes.

"She's fine, but we need to go, now." Something about the tone in Will's voice made her silently nod and they headed towards the door. They weren't running, but they were walking fast, almost so fast that Daniella could barely keep up. She almost couldn't believe it when they were standing in front of the door that led to their freedom. David opened the door and soon she found herself running behind them. 

"There's no way we're going to get far enough in time before he realizes." Daniella said as they headed immediately into the woods.

"Damn you don't know how long i've wanted to do this. Don't freak out." Kyle said and the next minute happened in almost slow motion, Kyle's bones started cracking in what looked like a painful way and soon he was jumping in the air, landing on all fours, except it was no longer a human being, but a large wolf. No it wasn't some gigantic wolf, but it was one that was definitely bigger than what was counted as normal. She stared wide eyed at the large chocolate colored beast that had shredded clothes all around it. 

"What -" Daniella didn't finish her sentence as the other two did the same. At this point she wasn't afraid after what she seen the biters do, but she still was in shock. Could they hear her still? Did they understand what she was saying? Would they hurt her? The questions ran through her head, but soon she felt a wet nose touching her hand. Jumping back, she studied the largest one out of them all. He had black fur at the top and white at the bottom. He was gorgeous really, she thought to herself. Something about the look in his eyes made her realize he wasn't happy with her as it stared at her. 

"Ride on my back." The memory of Kyle saying that hit her and she mentally cringed. How was she suppose to do this? How was she suppose to ride on one of them? They were basically naked, she thought as she looked at all the shredded clothes everywhere.

"I can do this." She said before ripping the long part of her dress. She lifted her leg over the black and white wolf, sitting on him. "I hope i'm not hurting you." Daniella said a loud and the wolf suddenly took of running, the other two followed directly behind him. They were going so fast her automatic reaction was to lead closer down on the wolves body and hold on tightly to his fur. 

This had to be a dream, there's no way she actually escaped from Alexander's house, she thought after closing her eyes tightly. She would have to die her hair a different color again and change the name she used if she wanted to honestly get away from him.  Daniella didn't know how long they were running, but she knew it was hours as she started to drift off on the wolves back. The sound of a deep growl and teeth snapping got her to immediately sit up straighter and stay awake. Right, she couldn't fall asleep or else she may fall off.

They were running until the sun turned into the moon. She looked up at the sky, watching as now even the sun was trying to peak up and say hello again with it's beautiful red, orange, and yellow colors surrounding it.

"It has to be around six in the morning, at least." She mumbled to herself just as the wolf she was on slowed down. The woods turned into a clearing and soon there was a huge, wooden house in front of them.

"Will?" A man standing in front of the house asked. Daniella watched as soon bones started popping back into place as the two wolves turned into very naked men. She quickly turned her head to the opposite direction, her cheeks turning a light pink shade. "You have a human with you." The man stood defensively, glaring at the guys. 

Daniella gasped in surprise when soon the wolf underneath her started to do the same thing the other two did. She stared with wide eyes at Will as she realized she was now sitting on Will. Most people would expect for them to still be on his back when he changed back, but instead she was sitting on his front. Will stared into her eyes with an unknown emotion before he pushed her off, making her land on the grass. 

"The human saved us." Will spoke confidently, power radiating from him as he stood up.

"A human had to save you? You must not be as strong as the alpha thought. Here he was going to make you his beta after Lexus died." The man said and a loud rumbling sound came from of Will's chest.

"What is all the nonsense?" A tall man asked, appearing at the doorway of the house and his eyes widened when he caught sight of Will, Kyle, and David.

"Alpha." They all said in sync, bowing their heads in respect. Daniella awkwardly sat on the grass, not sure what to do.

"It's nice to see he finally stuck with part of the deal. He's weeks late though." The alpha guy said out loud.

"He didn't uphold whatever deal you formed with him. The human girl that was trapped there let us out." Will said and the tall man let his gaze fall of the her.

"Young lady, what's your name?" He asked and she quickly stood up and glanced around the yard. 

"Daniella Clark." She said causing everyone to look at her. She found it pointless to hide her identity when Lucas already found out about her fake one.

"I thought you said it was Izzy." Kyle muttered in her ear and she bit her lip nervously.

"I lied." She mumbled back before focusing her attention on the man who radiated even more power then Will.

"Well Ms. Clark, is it true? You saved three of my people?" He asked, studying her carefully with his beady eyes.

"Yes." She said confidently back. Something told her she couldn't show her fear to this man, especially at a time like this.

"Then you are welcome here as long as you please. Zachary, please have one of the girls prepare a room for her." The other guy from before stared at him in disbelief before nodding.

"Yes, Alpha." 

"William you will meet me in my office. We have many things to discuss. Get some clothes on first." He said not waiting for a response before leaving. Will didn't say a word as he rushed inside after the man.

"Guess you were all wrong." Kyle said smirking, placing an arm on her shoulder.

"Uh do you mind?" She asked awkwardly, not looking at him. Kyle chuckled to himself when he remembered she was only human and probably wasn't use to nudity. 

"Sorry, let's go get you inside." He said, motioning for her to go ahead.

"Alexander can't get me now, right?" She had to ask as the fear creeped up her spine.

"It would take him hours to get here and I don't even think he's that stupid to go onto our territory, king or not." David said and she sighed in relief.

"Thank you for helping me." She told them as they entered the beautiful house. 

"I'm sure we're the ones who are suppose to say that." She didn't respond as her eyes skimmed the house in adoration.

"David!" A girl yelled, running up and jumping into his arms. He wrapped his arms around her and they immediately started kissing passionately. Tears streamed down the girl's face as she held onto David tightly, almost like she was afraid he would disappear. 

"They're what we call mates. They were basically made for each other." Kyle said, looking at the couple enviously. Daniella thought back to Alexander and his siblings explanation on claims. Did they mark their boyfriend or girlfriends like an object too? 

A pair of sweatpants were thrown at Kyle and he quickly slid them on. "Thanks man." He said to another man. Was that all that existed here? She wondered frowning. Either way something about the place left her feeling calm rather than afraid and that was enough for her to want to stay a little while longer. Daniella knew that she shouldn't feel so calm around these beasts, but she couldn't help it when they acted so human and made her feel so welcome. Well some of them did anyways.

A/N: Ello Loves! Sorry it's been a while, but I think this is a decent length .I know I won't be updating by Thursday so I hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving! Enjoy all the yummy food!
