(EDGAR'S POV)

It was night and I was in my camper lying down. How did I let my life get this way. I got up and went to go get a drink of water. As I was walking I tripped and stubbed my toe.

"Fuck!"

I held my foot as I sat down on my chair. As I was holding my foot I noticed something on the counter. I saw a bracelet that I haven't seen in years. I picked it up and bittersweet memories came rushing back to me. I sighed as I remembered the day I received the bracelet.

*FLASHBACK*

Edgar and Alan Frog were in their comic book store when they heard the bell ring. They saw the girl that entered their shop only a few days earlier. Alan blushed and Edgar nudged his brother and grinned. Alan glared at his brother but froze when he saw her approach them.

"Hi guys."

Alan couldn't get words to come out of his mouth and that caused Edgar to laugh.

"We're actually doing fine today Lilly. How have you been?"

"I've been doing good. Finally managed to escape from my overprotective brothers and that was a hassle to do."

Edgar chuckled and Alan glared at him.

Lilly looked at them in confusion. She chuckled at them and smiled. Over the course of a few days they have developed a nice friendship bond.

"I actually came to give you guys a present."

"You came to give us a present?"

Lilly smiled and handed them each something that was in paper.

They opened their presents and smiled shyly when they saw what she gave them. She gave them each a bracelet. Edgar's looked like it was homemade and Alan's looked like it was bought. They smiled at Lilly and Alan blushed.

"You got us bracelets Lilly?"

"Yes I did. If you don't want them I can always take them back."

Alan held his bracelet in his hands and put it on his chest.

"I'm going to keep this forever fuck off."

Edgar couldn't help but chuckle at his brothers little moment. He knew it was only a matter of time before Alan confessed his feelings for Lilly and he wishes that he was there the day he confesses. Lilly smiled at them.

"I'm glad that you like them. I made them myself."

"You made them yourself Lilly?"

"Yes I did. And now I have to get back to my brothers before they freak out."

Lilly walked of the store leaving a flustered Alan and a grinning Edgar behind in the store. Edgar looked at Alan and grinned even more.

"Alan-."

"Shut up Edgar don't even start."

*FLASHBACK ENDS*

"Oh what a memory that was. Where did the times go."

I sighed as the memory played in my head over and over again. But I also smiled because it was a bit of a sweet memory. One thing that always confused me was why she didn't kill me when she had the chance. She was more than capable enough of killing me all those years ago. But there was something different about her I just couldn't put my finger on it. But the one thing that I did know was that she had a kind soul and heart. Her kindness always confused me because she was a vampire and vampires were usually evil and sadistic. I put the bracelet down and got ready for the day ahead of me.

"Let's get today started."

I went outside and began working. When I closed the door I was startled to see the kid that I saved last night standing in front of me.

"Jesus Christ you scared me."

I tried walking away but he kept following me. I was starting to get aggravated with this kid.

"Leave me alone."

"Please I need your help I think my sister is a vampire."

I stopped in my tracks and turned around to face the kid.

"What?"

"Can you help me please."

I sighed to myself and grunted. Looks like today just got a whole lot more interesting.
