(ALAN'S POV)

I sighed to myself. Another lonely night of being a vampire. I still remember that night at the capital all those years ago. I remember it so vividly that it hurts. My vampire cravings are getting harder and harder to resist every day. I couldn't be around my brother because I could accidentally hurt him. Or even worse I could kill him. It pained me so much that I was alone and had to isolate myself that I literally wanted to kill myself to end the pain.

"WHY ME? WHY DO I HAVE TO BE IN ALL OF THIS PAIN?"

I threw my chair across the floor causing it to hit a shelf resulting in a big mess. I was about to walk away when something caught my eyes. I picked up a blue bracelet that I haven't seen in years.

I smiled as I remembered that day in Santa Carla all those years ago. Lilly walked into the store wanting to find a funny comic to read. Her smile and her blue eyes made my heart flutter in an instant.

*FLASHBACK*
LILLY WALKED OUT OF THE COMIC BOOK STORE. AS SOON AS SHE WAS OUT OF EYESIGHT ALAN SIGHED TO HIMSELF. HE DIDN'T KNOW WHY BUT THERE WAS SOMETHING ABOUT THE GIRL THAT MADE HIM FALL INLOVE.

"YOU LIKE HER DON'T YOU ALAN?"

ALAN TURNED AROUND AND SAW HIS BROTHER SMIRKING AT HIM.  ALAN ROLLED HIS EYES AT EDGAR.

"OH SHUT UP EDGAR. SHE'S BEAUTIFUL AND WHO KNOWS WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS."

I smiled as I held the bracelet close to my chest.

"I miss her so much. I hope she doesn't hate me anymore."

I placed the bracelet back on the shelf and continued on with my night. I looked up at the bracelet one last time and smiled to myself.

"I will always love you Lilly. I hope that one day we can be with each other."
