(DWAYNE'S POV)

It has been one whole day since I last saw Rachel. It was now the dead of night and I began to follow the intoxicating scent of strawberries and roses to find her. It finally came to a halt as I saw a house infront of me. I parked my bike and began to walk up towards the house to try and find my mate. I told my brothers not to follow and they agreed. Well David agreed and he forced Paul and Marko to listen because he understood that you should never stand in-between a vampire and his mate. I was in the trees looking until I finally saw her.

She was leaning on her windowsill looking out into the night sky. I noticed the beautiful nightgown that she was wearing.

(What her room looks like)

It hugged her body just perfectly and I can already imagine her laying with me in bed as I gently played with her hair as she clings to me. I watched her walk back into her room away from her windowsill. I flew right above her bedroom and began to read her thoughts. She was thinking about me and why she couldn't get me out of her mind. I smiled to myself. My beautiful mate was thinking of me and was already feeling the mating bond even though she didn't understand why.

I flew infront of her window and watched as she was brushing her long and silky golden hair causing it to look like a waterfall of golden water. I had to talk to her and feel her in my arms and to kiss her. To feel her skin on mine. I tapped on her window and managed to get her attention as she looked at me in surprise.

(RACHEL'S POV)

I was finishing brushing my silky hair when I heard a tap at my window. I turned around and saw one of the guys from earlier. It happened to be the guy that I found very cute. I went to my windowsill.

"What are you doing here?"

He smiled at me and my heart began to flutter nonstop. I felt this weird and instant connection towards him.

"Aren't you going to come in?"

"It's rude to come into someone's home without being invited. Can you invite me in Rachel?"

"You're invited."

He smiled and then came into my room. He walked up to me and kissed me with so much passion.

And for some strange reason I wrapped my arms around his shoulders and returned the kiss with equal passion. I broke the kiss and looked at him.

"I never got your name."

"My name is Dwayne. And I believe your name is Rachel am I correct?"

"Yes you are."

I looked at Dwayne and smiled.

"Dwayne why do I feel this connection when I never met you before so why do I feel this way?"

Dwayne looked at me before walking and stepping out of the window. He signalled for me to follow me and I did.

"Do you trust me Rachel?"

I don't know why but I nodded my head yes.

"I trust you Dwayne."

Dwayne looked at me before jumping off the roof.

I rushed towards the window and suddenly I saw him flying. I was shocked. He flew infront of me and held his hands out to me.

"Trust me Rachel and I will explain everything."

I stepped out of my window and let him grab me. Soon we were driving on his motorcycle trough the woods of Santa Carla. I was clinging to Dwayne as he drove fast. When he finally stopped we arrived at a beautiful spot in the woods. He stopped his bike and helped me off. I looked around and saw so many fireflies.

I was awed by the beauty.

"Oh Dwayne it's so beautiful."

"Not as beautiful as you."

I blushed when I saw him look at me. He took my hands in his and looked a little nervous.

"Dwayne what's wrong are you okay?"

"Can I show you something Rachel. And please don't be scared of me."

I was confused when he turned around. I didn't know what was happening. But when he turned back around he looked completely different.

His face was transformed and his teeth were now pointed and sharp. His eyes were now yellow and red. I froze in place and couldn't move. I was hipnatized and couldn't look away. His face then went back to normal. He looked at me and slowly walked up to me. He looked scared and worried.

"Please don't be scared or hate me please. I love you so much and I don't want you to ever leave me. I can't lose you Rachel ever."

I looked at him and placed my hands on his face. I looked up at him and smiled.

"I will love you no matter what you are."

I looked at him.

"Hold me."

He instantly wrapped me in a loving hug.

He then looked at me and then went back to his bike. When he got back he handed me a beautiful jean jacket which he placed over my shoulders.

"Oh Dwayne it's beautiful."

"Rachel I am a vampire and the weird connection is because of the mating bond. I won't force this on you anytime soon. But know that one day you are going to have to make a decision."

I looked at him and then kissed him and he kissed me back.

"Dwayne I will always love you and this demon won't make me love you any less."

Dwayne drove me back home and helped me back into my room. As I watched him drive out of view I found myself longing to be in his arms again and to be with him always.

(DWAYNE'S POV)

As I drove away from my mate I felt both sad and happy. I was happy that she accepted me for what I am. I was so happy that I finally found her. She gave me a real reason to wake up happy. I couldn't wait to officially make her mine. I smiled to myself.

"What a night."
