/A few minutes before the Jokers and Matthew arrive\

Matthew had calmed down after breaking down after telling his story about what happened to his village. The blond was still keeping his head down just to be safe and Matthew just felt better that way.

"We're here." Gilbert said.

Matthew looked up to see a beautiful and stunning castle. It had four towers that had the kingdoms emblem, the windows had a deep blue spade on them. The Jokers snickered at Matthew's expression, before the blond glared at them both.

Peter smiled at Matthew while Gilbert stopped the wagon when they had entered the back gates of the palace. Matthew looked around the palace grounds to see a beautiful garden with colourful flowers and trimmed hedges. There was different types of trees that either has fruits or no fruits.

"Wow... I've never seen these types of trees before..." Matthew gasped.

"You sound like you never travelled before!" Peter said.

"I rarely leave my village that often only to go to markets to sell things." Matthew said.

"Well your here now and you are going to meet the king!" Gilbert said as the wagon came to a stop and a stable worker rushed over.

The three got off the wagon and Matthew felt really out of place as Peter grabbed his wrist and pulled him along. Gilbert chuckled as they walked into the palace, a guard said something to a Chinese man, who nodded and left to go somewhere in the Palace.

"Come on they should be told by now that were here!" Gilbert said, a smirk as he led the way.

The blond teen was confused by this but didn't ask. Looking around Matthew looked in awe at the different types of arms and weapons that were made. Matthew even saw some of the ones that he and his father made.

"Okay here we are. The throne room!" Gilbert said as they came up to the hallway were the door to the throne room was.

The door opened and the man from earlier came out and he saw the trio and rushed over.

"Hello Gilbert and Peter, we weren't expecting you two to show up!" The man said.

What the heck? How does this man know Gilbert and Peter!? Matthew thought.

"Ah Yao it is good to see you! Everything going well I hope." Gilbert greeted.

"Good good... So what brings you two here?" Yao asked.

"There is a problem that the King and Queen need to know." Peter stated.

That is when Yao notice Matthew. Yao nodded and gestured for them to follow. Yao opened the doors and they stepped into the throne room, where Matthew saw two people standing by the thrones talking.

One was a tall male with short messy neat blond hair with a cowlick, blue eyes that held hope and kindness. He had a blue tail dress coat with a blue vest and a white dress shirt underneath, black pants that were neatly pressed and black shoes.

The other male was shorter then the first. He had short messy blond hair, forest green eyes that looked like they had power in his eyes, with huge eyebrows. The males clothes were blue as well with a lacy collar and lace around his hands. The coat was shorter then the others, his black pants were also neatly pressed, his shoes were polished.

They turned when the group had walked in and the tall male rushed over and smiled brightly at the group.

"Ah, Hello Gilbert and Peter what brings you to my Kingdom on this fine day?" The man greeted looking a bit nervous.

"We are here on urgent matters I'm afraid King Alfred." Gilbert said.

Matthew blinked and froze, he was in the presents of the King and Queen of Spades. The Queen walked over and smiled at Peter and Gilbert then saw Matthew.

"I am sorry but I don't believe we have met before. I'm Queen Arthur of Spades, and you are?" Arthur greeted.

Alfred and Yao turned to look at Matthew, who still had his hood up and was bright red.

"I'm Matthew Williams" Matthew greeted still looking red.

Arthur smiled at Matthew before glancing at his shirt and noticed the poorly patched up hole. The teen noticed and pulled the cloak over it to keep it covered.

"So what is these urgent matters that you two need to be here.... and Matthew." Alfred asked.

Peter nudged Matthew, this caused the three Spade royals raise a brow. Matthew shifted awkwardly before taking a breath and started to speak.

"Uh my village was attacked by Dark trump cards... they...uh.. were taking teens and kids for some reason..." Matthew started, tears welled in his eyes.

The royals stiffen at the word attacked by was confused by Dark Trump cards.

"The Dark trumps were going to take me as well by my father... lied to them... but I accidentally said Mother and Father when we though the Dark trump was gone and.... They.... k..." Matthew tried to stay strong but tears fell from his violet eyes as he started to choke back a sob.

"Their attacking other villages in Spades! I... I...their dead because I let it slip that I was their son.." Matthew cried before falling to his knees.

Peter knelt down and hugged Matthew. Alfred and Arthur looked at the sobbing teen and then at Gilbert.

"Peter and I found Matthew next to the river with an arrow in his shoulder." Gilbert said.

"Yeah and that river runs through the black smith village... the only black smith village." Peter added.

Alfred ran a hand through his hair and looked at the ceiling.

"So Dark trumps huh... I have never heard of them before." Alfred said.

Yao looked at Matthew then at the royals and sighed.

"The Dark trumps came from the shadow kingdom but were said to be a myth, so if you want I can look into it for you, your highness." Yao said.

"Please do and tell us if you find anything of extreme important's." Arthur said.

Yao nodded and bowed his head before leaving the throne room. Matthew slowly calmed down after Peter helped Matthew to calm down enough to stand and to speak again. Gilbert glanced at Matthew with worry when the doors to the throne room opened and a group of nicely dress people came in.

"King Alfred I need to speak with you! I heard that the Jokers are here!" A tall blond with slick back hair and blue eyes said.

Matthew blinked when Gilbert and Peter froze.

"Oh there they are Ludwig-san. Kon'nichiwa Gilbert-san and Peter-kun." A short Japanese man with black hair that was cut neatly, said.

Matthew stepped away from the two Jokers in shock and turned to look at them.

"Your the Jokers?!" Matthew choked out.

"... Yeah..." Gilbert said.

"Sorry that we didn't- Whoa! Matthew!" Peter started before the blond teen collapsed to the floor.

Alfred and Gilbert rushed forward and caught the teen before his head hit the ground. Gilbert again felt a warmth in his chest when he grabbed the teen. Alfred looked at Gilbert and sighed.

"Take Matthew to one of the rooms that isn't being used..... maybe the one that is next door to yours and Peters rooms." Alfred said.

Gilbert nodded.

"Yes your highness." Gilbert said.

The Jokers and Matthew disappeared. The royals blinked before turning to the two royals who just sighed.

"We'll explain when Matthew wakes up." Arthur said.

"Man I really wish that it was about the Ball...." Alfred muttered before walking away.

Arthur rolled his eyes and apologised to the other royals and left to go find Yao. The other royals wondered the palace grounds before they would be summoned again.
