That was it, it was only Teddy and I. I was trembling with fear. Teddy and I were crouched down in some long tall weeds. The kind you see in movies. The both of us were holding hands crying but trying to keep quiet.

We watched as the robber walked out of our house. He looked around like he was trying to find us. It looked as if he looked right at me. I froze in terror. But he just walked away.

Teddy and I kept hidden in the weeds for and hour or two. I looked into Teddy's eyes and saw fear. I told him that everything was going to be ok. We held hands and that's when I told him that we had to leave. That we had to go far away from here so that the robber wouldn't find us. "What about mom and dad." He said. I didn't want to tell him what had happened to them. Because telling him would just make me cry. "They will catch up to us later on" I said.  I saw doubt in his eyes. I grabbed his hand and we ran.
